I had a great stay here! I was impressed the moment I walked in. Hotel lobby was well designed. Front desk attendant was extremely friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Everything seemed well maintained. I even had a faux fireplace! Ate dinner in the onsite hotel. Being an odd night and off season many of the menu items were not available. I did order a steak item off the tapas section that tasted like Mongolian beef. It was very well prepared. My Jack and Coke was served in a can which caught me off guard. Still good. Complimentary breakfast was very good. The breakfast burritos and salsa all seemed homemade. (Wish I could find salsa that good back home). Indoor swimming pool looked inviting. In all a hidden gem I wish I had more time to enjoy. read more

Place security lock on at all times- employee walked in on us changing - no knock or "housekeeping warning" Be prepared for cold food, no microwave in eating area to reheat, bagels and all pastries were rock hard, overnight oats were labeled 6 days earlier, I paid for the deluxe master suite in the hotel, yep they couldn't bring us a plate, made us get dressed and go to front desk. Stayed for four days - not a great choice for extended stay. No microwave, No refrigerator, No side chair in room to sit and watch tv or read- Sadly. Breckfast and Ice machine on 2nd floor with elevator. Hotel was nice and clean and would be OK for one night. Could be perfect with missing items. Good bed, nice size room, electric fireplace, quiet AC a plus. Only two ADA roooms (??) and placed too far from ADA parking. Breckfast, but cold, better than most but still same o Hilton. Poor shower heads. Heated Indoor pool and too cool hot tub. Prob one of the bester places to stay in Cascade. Wish I could rate higher but we travel lots and they missed the boat with travelers needs. read more

The room was spacious and clean. The hot tub was full of foam? The paint on the walls in our room needed to be touched up. I think that the price of the room for 2 nights was very high. The one thing that could have been better is that their tapas restaurant could have been open on the 4th. It was nice that they had breakfast available but my food was cold. read more

Great hotel! This hotel is newly updated. The beds are comfortable. The pillows are great and linens clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious with little fireplaces, good size televisions, and a great vanity area for getting ready. The downstairs restaurant has yummy fresh food at a very reasonable price. Staff is very attentive and hospitality is great. The included free breakfast was great, the coffee was strong and definitely hit the spot considering there's no other coffee shops and cascade.. My only complaint is that the walls are kind of thin and I think there were some large groups next to my room. But that's nothing some travel earplugs can't fix. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. read more

We reserved this hotel for our guests for our wedding. The staff from Nikki to Vicki to the front desk staff like Jaime were all amazing!!! We had an amazing time and they were very accommodating. Our guests as well as ourselves were very pleased with the hotel from check in to check out. The rooms were clean and well kept. The breakfast was top notch for a continental breakfast. We will be recommending this place to anybody and everybody who goes to Cascade. A true gem in the mountains of Idaho!!!! Mixed review here as something's were good and others not so good. Barbara on the night staff was excellent however the staff working the night desk the first two days of our stay were rune and unprofessional. Asked for some feather free pillows and the world fell apart. Lady was rude "We gots what you have in your room and that's that, this ain't the Ritz" her exact words. Hats off to the maintenance tech, unfortunately I forgot his name but he was the one who could actually accommodate the request after speaking with him the next morning. Free breakfast was decent and had quite a few selections. Over all not a bad place to stay in cascade. Better than the other options. read more

Nice hotel with a good restaurant inside called the Checkpoint Wine and Tapas Bar. We were going to eat elsewhere but the desk clerks, Noah and Nate, told me about the restaurant and the chef. I decided to try it and am glad I did. I liked everything about this place but the streaming television service absolutely sucked. You would think that a Hilton property would be on top of that but they aren't. Wanted to watch the news as we were traveling through but it kept buffering. Had to turn it off. Major disappointment. My fiancé and I wanted to get away from the city for the night so we booked a room at NoBo. First impression of this place was good until we got in line to check in. We over heard the person in front of us having an issue with their "3rd party" reservation and we both had a gut feeling we were going to have some issues. And we did! We booked the Deluxe King Suite through Expedia which we purposely got because of the Tub that was pictured. We got to our room to see NO TUB. So we went back downstairs to talk with the lady and new guy she was training. She told us that "every room was booked" that night and that she couldn't give us the room we paid for. So the "manager" came out, that was no help. She placed the blame for the confusion on the "3rd Party" app and said the best she could do was comp us a meal at the restaurant in the hotel. We already had dinner plans in McCall so that was of no use to us. So we called Expedia to find out what happened with our room. Expedia put us on hold, called the hotel, and about 10 minutes later, put the blame on the hotel and said the hotel would give us a 50% discount on our stay. At this time all other hotels in the area were booked so we agreed and said yes to the discount. We got back from McCall around 8:00 pm and noticed that this hotel had some unique guest as well as drunk guest which made my fiancé feel uncomfortable. We wanted to get some snacks, which they do have a good and affordable snack area, but we got inline behind this group of three young men that were having the same check in issues. We over heard the same lady that said they had no more room tell them, "you got the last room of the night". So which was it? After waiting 10 minutes to pay for our snacks we headed up stairs and noticed they had buckets and trash cans in the stairwell collecting water from leaking roofs. They also had no ice in the ice maker. For a place charging $300+ a night at full capacity you'd think this place would have its act together. The next morning we went to check out the breakfast room. It was decent but they were out of coffee, the juice bar didn't have any juice and the line was long and messy. Overall... don't waste your money here. We will never come back and there are better places you can stay for $300 plus a night. read more

This hotel is clean and quiet. Rooms (I stayed in a King room) are spacious with a lot of lighting and outlets/USB charging ports. A nice mixture of modern and comfortable decor. The parking lot is well lit and feels safe. The free breakfast has some unique hotel fare such as the sweet potato / onion / pepper mixture and house made breakfast burritos in addition to the more common hotel breakfast items. The reason for the 3 stars (could have been a 5) was the lack of customer service. I passed by 3 different front desk clerks during my 2 night stay and not once was I ever greeted, only one made eye contact, and one never looked up from her phone. The Evergreen Hotel in McCall has nothing but friendly and interactive staff- amazing what a difference 30 miles south will NOT get you. read more

We were the first couple to get married at The Ashley Inn (now owned by Hilton and called Hotel Nobo by Hilton) 20 years ago. We went last night (a Wednesday night) for our 20th Anniversary. Although we had stayed many nights at TAI, this was our first time back since the sale to Hilton. Our experience: Pro - The staff was amazing! I called to request an early check-in. She said no problem. When we got there they had upgraded us to a king suite with an amazing bathtub and a really nice shower. Pro - The restaurant was excellent. We got the Chef's Tapas. It was amazing. The Shrimp was excellent! So was the Mozzarella with Balsamic and baguette. Con - We accidentally booked through Expedia. No issues though. I just don't like Expedia. lol Con - The couch and chairs in the suite were VERY uncomfortable. Con - Other Hilton hotels have warm cookies. So did TAI. Bring the back, please! Overall impression It was really nice to get away from Boise for a couple of days. This was just what we needed. Nobo was just what we needed. Great experience and would definitely return! read more

We stayed here not sure what to expect based on some reviews that were unhappy about the original family run hotel being bought by Hilton. Completely understandable. We have no complaints though about our stay. It didn't feel like a typical Hilton property. Lobby had a piano and plenty of seating. Front desk employee was friendly. Our room was super clean and large, the window had shutters and a sitting bench underneath giving the room a bed and breakfast feel, beds were comfortable. Pool and jacuzzi were clean and we relaxed in the whirlpool hot tub. Breakfast was included. The breakfast area is on the second floor providing a nice view of the water and trees behind the hotel. read more

Reviewing restaurant in hotel. Did not stay at hotel. By far the best food in Cascade. Like shockingly good for anywhere. I live north of Seattle and it was the best meal I have had in years. True attention to detail in every dish. The seasoning was perfect, good portions, everything was balanced. The kind of food you take a bite, close your eyes in lust, and blurt out some moan with no control. This new to them Chef is a mastermind. He also came out to say hi which is nice. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS HOTEL!!!!!! They completely ruined the cozy feel of this amazing hotel (the Ashley Inn) You used to be able to come here and feel like you were visiting grandmas house. It was warm and cozy with cookies for all at 8! It was a place so magical, right out of a HALLMARK MOVIE. You could rent a DVD enjoy a bath, cookies, your fireplace and a nice movie. My wife and I stayed at the NOBO last Friday night. My wife is a Travel Agent. The NOBO is a subsidiary of Hilton Hotels. Our experience did not meet our expectations. The television in the room did not work. There were a lot of menu choices, but they simply did not work. After a half hour of trying, we called the front desk, and the same guy who checked us in came up to try to get it working. After 20 minutes, he manage to get Tubi working. Then we could watch Hop Along Cassidy, Gene Autry and other westerns in black and white. After that, we couldn't access any current TV station. The interesting thing was that all the TVs in the common areas, the bar, and the dining room were working. In other news, the bed was way too soft, and the toilet paper was too thin. The staff was apologetic, but unable to help. The room rate was high for the area. I think I would try a different hotel next time. read more

I noticed the bad reviews were from people who have not stayed here and are only mad that Ashley Inn closed. I am an Idaho native and have stayed at the Ashley Inn. This hotel was nice at first but definitely needed a refresh as it was getting run down over the years. The fact it closed was no fault of the new owners. Now that Hilton has purchased it, the rooms were very nicely remodeled and large. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a very good continental breakfast and the pool and hot tub were a nice addition for the kids. We will definitely be back! read more
