I was looking for a hotel near Disneyland for a two night stay with a budget in mind . When looking up hotels 414 popped up and I'm sure happy it did. The hotel is small and quaint but still nice. It reminds me of an upscale super 8 but with its own touches . The walk from Disneyland and back is about 20 min depending on how you walk. The place has a small parking area but it wasnt ever and issue. The pool looked super clean and with the heat wave looked ready for anyone to dip in. Small complaint is the rooms walls are thin and you can hear everything. I will for sure be back here . read more

Called to ask if they had free parking for their rooms while checking other hotels and a middle eastern man answered first time. Second time I called he stated "you already asked that half hour ago". I then stated im sorry but im double checking, when I then asked his name he hung up. I called back and he stated " I have other people calling and abruptly answered "you do not think I a have other people calling". I stated that I was just calling to double check. Hotel 414 is such a great find! The hotel is in such close proximity to Disneyland parks that you could walk if you wanted to and rideshare options easy, quick, and economical. The hotel has a messaging system that you can use to communicate with the staff before and during your stay. It is a small building without many amenities but it's perfect to stay the night between Park visits. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was nice. Can't ask for more! My only suggestion for improvement would be the pillows - there were four tiny pillows on a king bed and they seemed pretty old and had lost their loft and were misshapen and uncomfortable. read more

We enjoyed our two night stay here. It is tucked away in a quiet corner of Anaheim just a 5 minute drive from the Disneyland parking garage and front gates. I don't recommend walking because you have to cross the major highway street but it is possible to walk to the parks from here. The employees were nice & helpful! We highly recommend for families or anyone going to the park that want to be close by. Never had to fight for parking and it was a comfortable stay. We had everything we needed- a fridge, microwave, wifi, ample amount of plugs, etc. The shower had soap and shampoo but no conditioner if that's something you need. The AC system can be loud but did not bother us whatsoever. We would 100% book again! Thank you! read more

We had a great experience here at Hotel 414 ! Location is very close to Disneyland, which was our main purpose for this particular trip . We appreciated the free parking , clean updated room, friendly service, and 2 minute walk to Starbucks! So Hotel 414, is more an updated Motel then a hotel. The doors face an outside walkway and parking is right out front . Nothing fancy here , but the grounds were very clean and well maintained. I saw security cameras all around the property. It was quite and I felt very safe. I didn't realize how convenient it was to have access to your car just a few steps away from your room ! Talking about rooms, our room was very pleasant and comfortable . Its updated with hard laminate floors , modern looking bathroom fixtures, strong A/C, cold mini fridge , and they even had a coffee maker if you're into making hotel coffee. They provided towels, body wash and shampoo but they did not have hair conditioning or lotion. I forgot to bring conditioner so I had wild crazy hair for a couple of days . If I cared enough I could have easily bought some at the local stores near by, but since I had my head in hat for most of the days it was fine ! Others have mentioned that it's walking distance to Disneyland park . When we mapped out the walk from our room to the main entrance to park , we decided it was better to just get an Uber 7$ one way and save our feet the torture of adding another almost 2-3 miles for a around trip on foot. Plus the walking path is over a bridge and next to some fast moving loud traffic, not an ideal situation. Overall Hotel 414 is such a great value for a stay near Disneyland! PHotel 414 was very, clean, comfortable, and staff was very nice. The front desk guy was super helpful, and well as the housekeeping staff. I purchased discounted Disneyland tickets at the hotel that worked out great. The housekeeping staff always checked each day if I needed anything, but didn't ever bother me. The location is perfect if you want to walk to Disneyland. It took me about 15 minutes (around .5 miles). Also walking distance to fast food and a Walmart (about 7 minutes). Stayed here in early Sept. 2022 for 3 nights. What more could I ask from a place that was extremely reasonable in their price, had great customer service, and had a clean and comfortable room. I needed a screw driver for my kids web slinger toy to change the batteries out and I was able to get one at the front desk which was nice of them. There's a Starbucks on the corner, a neighborhood Walmart a little further down, and various food places nearby. We walked to Disneyland on both of our days there. It's a decent walk, but we had no issues getting there and back. I don't really understand why people get overpriced hotels, especially when your going to DL since you're really only using it to sleep. Hotel 414 was the perfect spot for us and we'll be back. Side note: I got DoorDash from Willys Eatery before we left which I would recommend because their breakfast was delicious. read more

When booking this spot, you have to remember that it's a value motel! I was uncertain about it at first, but upon check in we were greeted by the super friendly owner. Our room was spacious and most importantly very clean! I've stayed at other higher ranked places that were not this clean! Parking is abundant and free. Shower pressure and water temperature was amazing. It was also very quiet at night. I seriously did not hear a peep from my neighbors or the surrounding neighborhood. The only two "negatives" were that our bed had no box spring (any time one of us turned the bed creaked terribly) and the air conditioning unit is located near the back of the room so it sometimes struggles to cool the whole room but it did the job! Walk is probably 15-20 mins but we chose to drive instead. Overall, I would stay here again if I needed a motel that was affordable and solid near Disneyland. read more

For less than half of the price of Disneyland hotel you get. And one of the most reasonable rate in the area. You get a clean room, comfy bed with working air condition, free parking. What else can you ask for? Couple things which are not luxury but I consider a nice touch: Updated bathroom w rain shower. Prehung hair dryer. Microwave in the room. Oh yeah there is a also a pool with pool toys laying around if you brought the kiddies. Communication with David who I assume was the owner was prompt, courteous, and exact instructions were given for self check in at 2am in the morning. I guess if I really pick at it the air condition was a bit loud but once it's reached desired temperature it'll shut off so just don't set temperature too low and it won't be running all the time. Great location, great hospitality and great price! We stayed overnight as we visited Disneyland for Halloween time. The location is under a mile away from Disneyland it's perfect to walk to. The room was in excellent condition, and very clean and smelled fresh. You get an AC, microwave, coffee maker, 2 large purified bottle waters. Few things make a Yelper sadder then having to write a one star review for any business. It means they have failed to deliver on the promise of goods and customer service expected from every business. After staying here in May and having a nice experience, I booked again expecting the same good customer service. What I received was far from that. When you book a hotel for a Disneyland vacation, especially during a slow time, you expect to get an early check-in - paid for, of course. Being a repeat customer, I showed up at 414 with the expectation that I would again receive an early check-in and a safe place to store my luggage while going to the park. I told the girl behind the counter I was excited for my repeat visit, wanted to check-in early and would be happy to pay for a half day. She said she had to call her manager. On her cell phone, she explained the situation (in English) and then she started speaking in another language, dropping my name here and there while looking at the computer. I didn't understand why, but when she hung up, she said they were full and no rooms would be available until 3:00 (it was just before noon and the parking lot was empty). Then she questioned (in a certain tone) when I had stayed there before. I told her I'd check my Hotels.com account and that I was fine with coming back at 3:00. I asked if they could hold my luggage while I went to the park and she said she would put it behind the counter, not in a locked room. She refused to give me a claim ticket for my bag and I asked what would happen if she left or someone else tried to claim my bag. She said she would tell her manager (the one on the cell phone). That bag had my work computer, confidential information and password book inside. Anyone could have claimed it. It was distressing. I looked up when I had stayed there before and she seemed surprised, like she didn't believe me before (I had stayed for 5 days.) She wouldn't give me a safe place to store my luggage or a claim check to verify it was mine, so I told her to cancel my reservation, took my bag and walked up the street to the Anaheim Fairfield Inn where I was immediately given a room (no extra charge), balloons, cookies and a welcome card. Most importantly, my valuables and me were safe and treated with respect. To add insult to injury, 414 charged my credit card for the entire stay, $221 plus $110 deposit, because I didn't cancel three days ahead of my check-in. I fought with my credit card company these several weeks and still ended up paying them $110 because they could not give me a room or guarantee the safety of my belongings. It was an awful experience and if it hadn't been for the nice people at the Fairfield Inn, my trip (which I had taken because of a personal tragedy) would have been a disaster. This is a really nice, small, upgraded hotel within a $7 uber ride to Disneyland. The hotel had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, good air conditioning, blow dryer, shampoo and body wash...and an AMAZING shower! You can see a glimpse of the Disneyland fireworks from the pool area. There is a Starbucks about a 5 minute walk away. The bed was hard. For me that was okay but my husband wasn't so thrilled. Our stay here was decent we were not trying to pay too much for a stay without having to compromise cleanliness and safety . What I liked here was that everyone kept to themselves. Free parking. Close to a Starbucks. The staff was attentive and helpful. Pool was cool and pretty deep. Seemed like a decent area/neighborhood. What I didn't like was that the bed blankets were dark brown which is not very sanitary as you are not able to see any stains. The white sheets did have some stains, the bathroom wasn't well ventilated. The AC was very loud. It also kind of sucked that there was no full length mirrors but not a big deal. Distance to Disneyland was not horrible but if you are pushing a stroller and carrying a baby bag it's not ideal as it is an uphill walk to cross the over pass/freeway. It's also insanely loud for little ones and not a very safe walk because of the fast cars entering the freeway. But if you have no kids and enjoy walking it's an alright walk not that close but not crazy far from Disneyland. All in all it we just needed a safe place to lay our heads and it did the job. Will I stay here again? Eh, probably not, mainly due to the walk. read more

To be honest, I am kind of a hotel snob. I always book the upgraded rooms at the fancy hotels and spend way more money than I should because I'm worried the cheaper places won't be as nice, clean, and comfortable. Turns out, I'm totally wrong. This place had pretty good reviews and the rate was ridiculously reasonable, so we decided to give it a shot. Glad we did, because this place is perfect!!! The rooms are super clean, have no carpet (woohoo!), have nice furniture, a mini fridge, and a microwave. I haven't seen a hotel shower that white in ages. I also like that their bath products are in dispensers rather than those mini bottles. It makes it so much easier to use, and it saves tons of plastic waste! This place has everything you need to be comfortable for a trip to Disneyland. They even sell Disneyland tickets at the front desk, so you can skip the line. Everyone on the staff was extremely kind and helpful. They even let us park on the property longer since they had a few extra spaces to spare that day. I saw on the way out that their sign said they had some sort of shuttle to Disneyland, so I'll probably check that out next time. The location of this hotel is super ideal. We Ubered to/from the park (~$7 each way), but you can technically probably walk there in about 20 minutes. There's even a Starbucks, Taco Bell, gas station and more just a few steps away. Absolutely loved this place. Can't wait to stay here again on my next Disneyland trip! read more

Just a little under a mile away from Disneyland and CA Adventure, this motel/hotel offers a basic stay during your visit to the magical place on earth. Parking was free, so we parked there before making a walking trek to the parks. It felt relatively safe to do so since it is along the Main Streets of Ball Road, and what not. We definitely lucked out with a parking spot in the motel/hotel parking lot (there was only one left at the time!). Had a two queen sized bed room on the 2nd level of the motel/hotel, which seems to have been redone to upgrade it, such as newer looking cabinets and things. Bathroom had a stand shower and pumps for body wash and shampoo. As I just wanted to hop in the shower right away, I got in without fully inspecting it and found some blonde hair left behind from, who I imagine was, the other folks who checked out of the room. Ehhhhhh I thought that was a bit gross but luckily the water just let it go down the drain.... The towels were a bit thin for my liking and, low and behold, I also found blonde hair on the towels. Not happy about that. But again, I was just too exhausted to complain at the time. I'm not sure I'm a fan of their two-ply toilet paper, either. It was too thin and felt like it stuck to our sensitive body areas. Not a fan. I suggest bringing your own toilet paper. Now, the beds. If you are a fan of INCREDIBLY FIRM mattresses, this is the place for you. Very rough. Not the best. But, again, exhausted. I just piled pillows underneath me. While I would give this a 2, I'm being generous with a 3 as the service folks let us do a late check-out without a fee, and seemed to try to accommodate as much as they could. Overall, not sure I would return, but people seem friendly enough. read more

I have been a loyal guest at Hotel 414 since 2019 and whenever I make a trip to Disneyland, I always do my best to book here. The cleaning staff does an excellent job keeping the rooms comfortable and clean and the hotel itself is perfectly located close enough to the park for a short walk or even shorter Uber ride. Also for those late night cravings you're right next to a Taco Bell and those early mornings are easily fueled by the Starbucks that's also super close. The family that runs the hotel is always accommodating and friendly. I look forward to my next stay at the 414. read more

This was the only place I could find last minute around the area we wanted. Its newly renovated so yes, ITS VERY CLEAN. Which is something we all want. It's also family owned and I believe they live on site. The front desk lady, most likely the owner was very nice. 4 stars because they do not have curtains which always wakes me up early morning because its super bright. They need more seating area as well. There was only one desk chair so one person had to eat standing up. Also found a beetle and another bug in the room which freaked me out. NO, NOT BED BUGS. Just bugs. Nobody likes bugs. Specially not on the bed, or on you. And also on one of the nights we stayed, we ran out of hot water. It wasnt too cold, but it also wasnt hot. read more

Stayed for one night. Big mistake for me as I needed a place for the night close to work that was affordable as I was paying. I should research better. Too close to Disney and I had to sleep early to get up at 4am and had a jarring Fireworks wakeup. (Not their fault but it would have been nice to know.) A bunch of issues.. the room deodorizer was way too powerful. The air conditioner was way too loud and the TV that I like to use to fall asleep to and drown out outside noises was the smallest flat screen I've ever seen at a hotel. (And air was so loud, couldn't have both TV and Air Conditioner on at same time. ) Also, make sure if you stay here to stay upstairs - I could easily hear footsteps above me at 3am.. I give one extra star than they deserve for the friendly service at the front desk. Other than that, I can't see a reason to stay again. read more

My brother-in-law wanted to go to Disneyland for a couple days for his birthday, so instead of drive the 1-1.5 hours every day my husband and I decided to stay near the Parks as we often do. We have a favorite hotel in the area that we prefer to stay at, but they were all booked for the weekend so I was forced to look elsewhere. Thanks to Yelp, I found Hotel 414 and gave them a call to inquire and make our booking. We booked our room for one night for a good rate, which I was happy with. It is worth mentioning, though, that although the main business photo for Hotel 414 shows a prominent AAA sign, when I asked if there was a membership discount I was informed that the rate I was quoted was the best one available, that there was no discount. That was a little confusing to me, seeing as they advertise AAA partnership and I've read other reviews stating they got an even better rate with their membership, but I booked regardless. Also, I was informed while my payment was being taken over the phone that the booking was non-refundable, which I am also not used to. On our scheduled check-in date we arrived and were given our keys and assigned our room number. Our room was very nicely updated with hardwood floors, a mini fridge, microwave and small coffee maker, an AC/heating unit, small flat screen TV above a desk near the bed and a clean, renovated bathroom. The floors were clean - I HATE going barefoot in hotel rooms, and still didn't do so here, but I can attest that I checked it out and they keep everything pretty tidy. We even had to move the bed a bit because the plug for the bedside lamp had fallen out of the wall, and even behind the bed was clean. There aren't any one-time use toiletries like most hotels - in the shower they had shampoo and body wash dispensers, but neither are labeled with brands/ingredients/etc. so I didn't use them. It would be nice to know what's in there! No conditioner either, so bring your own. The towels are clean and don't smell funny or musty like some hotels. In the evening, we walked to the Parks which only took about 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace. There's a Starbucks on the corner that you can stop in at for a snack or a pick-me-up before braving the crowds. Location is a huge plus at Hotel 414! Although we were technically scheduled to check out the next morning, they were kind enough to let us keep our car there for the day so we could carpool with my brother-in-law to breakfast and the Parks. We experienced a bit of a technical difficulty on the morning of our departure; check-out was at 11am, so at 10:30 my husband hopped in the shower to get ready to go and I started packing our things. I stepped out of the room around 10:40 with one of our room keys and some bags to put in the car, but when I returned I couldn't get into our room - the key was no longer working and the access light kept beeping and turning red. I attempted it several times with no luck, until my husband finally heard and let me in. I tried our second key, and it did the same thing. Basically, 20 minutes prior to our scheduled check-out, I got locked out. Management should really change/re-program those settings. Overall, we had a nice stay at Hotel 414 and would definitely recommend it for a clean, affordable stay near the Parks. Based on the proximity alone, it is one of the better options, for sure! read more

I have to say that Hotel 414 is convenient, spotless clean, quiet, with a comfy bed, and a nice shower with great warm water and water pressure. Nice & clean rooms. Hardwood floors. Beds w four pillows. A refrigerator. A microwave. Tv. Blow dryer. Hangers & I believe a iron / board. No complaints w the room. It was all very sanitary. Well kept, well stocked. You got parking w the room. Small downside, when a family comes back from Disneyland at 10pm you will hear them settle themselves if you are downstairs from them. Hard wood floors let's you hear it all. Fortunately, we were getting in @ 10pm & very wide awake.. so it did not bug us too much. But, FYI. To get to Disneyland, we were told to purchase tram tickets at the bigger hotel across the street & to wait there w a group. That tram was said to run every 20 min but some days it felt longer..... two nights we walked from Disneyland to the hotel bc the tram took too long. They charged me a night after I booked the room and charged me the rest of the nights I am staying for on the first day I checked in. Plus the 100 dollars deposit that you will get back.. Location: The location of this hotel is great! A few blocks from Disneyland, Starbucks, McDonalds for a late night snack, Walmart, and other fast food restaurants! Staff/Security: The staffs were all very nice especially, Ayesha! I was locked out one day because I forgot my card key and Ayesha was able to help me out. Many times when we walk by the front desk area, there's nobody there. They usually come out when they see you on their surveillance cameras inside the "private room." We were a bit sketched up in the beginning due to the low amount of security they offer. Yes, we did see some security cameras around but that's about it. Pool: I wanted to play around in the pool but upon my arrival I was disgusted by the pool. Not sure if they clean it daily because it was very dirty. I rarely saw people heading to the pool during my stay, maybe just 2 or 3 people. Room: It was great! I loved the room! The room was clean. The housekeeping ladies did a great job cleaning our room during our stay. Although, every morning at around 9 am you will hear the housekeeping ladies knock on your door to clean your place (unless you have the do not disturb sign outside) You'll still hear them pushing the cart around too. Yes, the television is quite small but they offer a lot more channels than the other hotels that I have stayed at. Parking: It's free parking but the downside is that when you get home very late like pass 11pm, you won't get a parking spot. It happened to my friend one night and he had to park his car in the streets. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to my friends and families. It's good and you really get what you paid for. I didn't mind this hotel, it was good for what we needed it for: sleep, shower, and close to Disney. My Pros and Con list will be from the overall stay but most of the complaints are not the hotel's fault. The missing star comes from our allergic reaction to the deorderizer that was used. We tried to air out the room by opening the window, blowing the AC and leaving the door open but the scent was really over powering. Another small thing was the bed, for us it was too soft. A few reviews stated the bed was firm and we love firm beds, so it depends on your perference. Pros: - really close to Disneyland. $5 Lyft ride or 20 minute walk to the Disney Gate. We didn't ask about the shuttle or see one available - really clean. I didn't find any dust or mold in the shower. The bedside lamps were clear of dust. - parking was free and I never had a problem finding a spot late at night. - very close to the 5 freeway and Roscoe's CONS: - at 9:30 pm, be aware of the Disney fireworks every night. A heads up would have been nice, so we could be prepared or run outside to see them. (Fireworks could be seen from the bathroom window.) The firework show was really loud and I have some of the sound on video. (Not the hotel's fault but just something you should know.) - located off a highly used street. This is a perfect place to stay! This is a newly remodeled mid century modern hotel. Ayesha was an absolute sweetheart and made our stay so special. The hotel has a mini fridge, microwave and a coffee maker and is also steps away from a Starbucks for that extra caffeine boost to get your day started at Disneyland. The rooms are exceptionally clean. I loved how there is a built in body wash and shampoo dispenser in the bathroom. There is also a pool thats clean and very well kept. SUPER BASIC hotel lacking many expected amenities. I stayed here on my most recent trip to Disneyland because the hotel I normally stayed at was booked, and this place seemed to have decent reviews. Boy did the reviews steer me in the wrong direction! Upon arrival, no one was behind the check-in desk. After standing in the check-in room waiting for a while, a teenaged-boy, who I assume is son to the owner, came out of a "private room," which I'm assuming is where the family stays while they watch the surveillance cameras of the check-in desk, rather than actually manning it themselves. Being checked in by a teenager who lacked professionalism, both in age, experience and proper uniform was warning sign number one. Then we got to the room. The room was hot, and lacked central AC. The wall unit did not do a good job of cooling off the room, which was hot and stuffy upon arrival, and had the faint smell of ammonia. The phone in the room was a basic spiral cord phone from the '80s, and it didn't even work, so there was no way of conveniently contacting the front desk if I needed to. The only furniture in the room included beds, a table, and a desk chair. No couch, no chaise, no lounger chair, nothing. They also do not provide a complimentary pen and pad of paper, so forget jotting down notes you have while on vacation, especially notes on how terrible this place is. Speaking of things that don't work, the iron is super low tech and the steamer function was completely broken, so I had to "iron" my clothes with the steam from the shower. And speaking of steam, the bathroom doesn't have a fan, so they expect you to leave the window in the bathroom above the shower open for ventilation. However, I am not in the mood for having random people peer in at me from the shower window, which is entirely possible since this hotel is near some low-income houses and backs up to those houses' backyards. The bathroom also has budget soap dispensers like you're using a bathroom at a rest stop off the freeway, not a "hotel." They no doubt do this to keep the cost down, but it's tacky and gross, because you're using the same dispenser and shampoo/body wash as everyone else before you, since they just top the container off. The TV is about the size of a large computer monitor screen. I can't remember the last time I've seen a TV this small in a hotel/motel/Air BnB, you name it, and I stay in hotels at least once every six weeks. The sheets, upon first inspection, had a weird stain on them, so we ended up only sleeping in one of the two beds in our room. Furthermore, the beds lack comforters, and have some lame paper thin sheet as a "quilt." What's worse is that the beds are low to the ground and hard as a rock. However, as some other reviewers mentioned, don't expect to get a decent night's sleep here, because the hotel is so close to the freeway that the whooshing sound of cars driving by will keep you up all night. Also, because this "hotel" (which really should be classified as a motel) is close to lower-income housing and not in a very nice neighborhood, every time I heard a noise outside in the parking lot, I worried that my car was being broken into. All of these negatives aside, I could have left at the end of my stay without expressing my dissatisfaction with the owners (it's family-run, not corporate), until they either STOLE or TRASHED my belongings. The night before I was leaving, I began to check the room to make sure I wasn't leaving anything behind. I'm an organized person, and like to keep all my belongings in their bags. However, the one thing that I left out next to my suitcase was my shoe duster bag and shoe box. When I went to do a final check of the room, it wasn't there, so I checked my suitcase. It wasn't in the suitcase, so I checked EVERYWHERE in the room, and even in my car. No shoe duster bag or shoebox in sight. I went down to the front desk, which once again didn't have a person standing behind it. After seeing me on their surveillance cameras, a man came out from the "private" room. Similar to my experience with the teenage boy, this man did not explain who he was, but I'm assuming he was the owner. It's hard to tell who ANYONE is at this "hotel," because they don't wear uniforms or have name tags. After explaining to the man that my shoe box was missing, he said that "anything" left on the floor "near" the trash is thrown away. My shoebox was nowhere "near" the trash can, nor is it trash. If I wanted a maid to throw something away, I'd put it in the TRASH can, because that's where TRASH belongs. Not only did he make excuses for the cleaning staff, but he was incredibly unprofessional and said "What do you want me to do?", and didn't take any responsibility for the actions of his staff. If you want to risk your belongings and and have the owners brush you off as if your complaints don't matter, then by all means stay here. I'd rather sleep in my car than stay here again. read more

Hotel 414 Review Don't stay here. The owner cancelled our reservation while my husband and I and two grandchildren stood in the lobby. He said he didn't like the way my husband talked to him. Well, I went on to write a honest review of the incident on google and the owner replied to my review online with a BUNCH OF LIES. We never stayed at this motel in our life but the owner said we stayed 5 times and each time we stay, I write a bad review. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND would keep coming back to a hotel they dislike and just write a bad review? Unfortunately all the folks out there who read these reviews, don't know that the owner replies with anything he wants....all lies in our case! We NEVER in our life stayed at this hotel yet the owner cited 5 dates that he claimed we stayed there. Word to the wise....do not risk your reservation being cancelled as you arrive with your family anticipating a great Disneyland experience. In our case we did find a better hotel instantly.... This is such a nice hotel. The staff were smiling, and very accommodating with anything we needed. The rooms were spotless. The shower large and again so clean. We had two queen beds where four pillows were artistically arranged. Technically it is 15 walking minutes from Disneyland, but we choose to UBER from the Starbucks just down the block. I highly recommend this low cost, high good energy hotel for a family (there IS a pool) or just an easy quick vacation spot to go to Disneyland without the high prices. read more

Just got back from a last minute trip to Disneyland. We chose Hotel 414 based on the good reviews and the price. I will say, for the price we paid, this was a great option and better than expected. While we were driving down I received a text from the hotel to ask when we would be arriving so that they could be sure someone was there to greet us. I was with my best friend and we had booked a room with a single bed to try to save some money, and the front desk person asked if we would like 2 beds and upgraded us for free. We were so thankful! The room was clean and spacious. It had a fridge and microwave. The shower had excellent water pressure (you just need to turn the shower head to the right setting). They gave us plenty of towels although they were thin and scratchy, and they replaced the towels every day which most hotels no longer do, so I appreciated that. They must have also paid attention to when we were leaving because there was no "do not disturb" sign yet they never woke us up or tried to enter when we were still there, yet we came back to a clean room every day. Honestly, I hesitate to say anything negative because they were so nice and really did their best to give us a great stay. That being said, I took one star because of the noise. We could hear people talking and giggling at night (they weren't being particularly loud but we could make out every thing they were saying), and since we were on the bottom floor we could hear every step they took. They were packing one night and the sound of them rolling the luggage across the floor was so incredibly loud it startled us out of a sound sleep. Every single night we were there (3 nights) car alarms would go off in the middle of the night. We were exhausted from being a Disneyland all day, but the level of noise meant we couldn't get a decent night's sleep, despite the fact that the beds were pretty comfortable. It was also a little far from Disneyland. We chose not to walk and took a Lyft instead. Due to the distance from the park, I would say they should not charge for parking, just my personal opinion. But overall, we were happy with our stay. I'll just bring ear plugs next time. read more

Wow. This is a very nice little hotel. It's very clean, the housekeeping staff do a wonderful job keeping the room clean and well stocked. It's very comfortable, the beds were comfy and the bedding cozy. And CLOSE TO DISNEYLAND!!! The proximity was great! We drove but you could walk, even though I will never understand why anyone would want to walk when you have to walk so much in the park, that's too much for me! But to drive it's a quick u turn and a couple lights then a left into the parking garage entrance. I would 100% stay in this hotel again for the right price. And ALMA was wonderful and so sweet and helpful before the trip, once we got there, and when checking out. Lovely to deal with. I highly recommend this hotel!! read more

It was fine, but it is a motel, not a hotel. One of the positives is that the housekeeping did a really nice job. Every day we left for Disneyland in the morning and came back at night to all fresh towels and very nicely made beds. Another positive is it did not have carpet. That is good. We checked in very late at night, and they waited for us, which was also nice. The Disneyland fireworks were audible and if you walked in the right place in the parking lot you could see them as well. The walk to Disneyland was only about 10 minutes and was a very easy walk. The shower seemed overhyped to me from all the other reviews. I didn't see it as anything better than any other hotels shower. A major drawback was the sound of the traffic. I cannot believe that nobody commented on that in the reviews I read. You can hear traffic all night long zooming by. It is very distracting the first night but then you get used to it. Overall it had more positives the negatives and I would stay there again. read more
