My husband and I were in town for a wedding and booked Hotel Winters since it was close to the venue. The lobby was clean and parking was abundant. We were able to check in before the standard time and was offered a glass of wine. The room we chose was spacious, the bathroom was clean, and we were happy enough. Our focus was on the wedding so we didn't check out the hotel too much, but we appreciated it for its location, cleanliness, and kind staff.

Lovely and chic hotel! I stayed here over the weekend of the Tractor Parade and had a lovely time! When we got to the lobby, we were greeted by the pleasant scent of the spa and a complementary glass of wine. The lobby was gorgeous. There was a nice fire going with plenty of seating, even some mounted down tablets where kids can play games. Outside, there is a ton of patio seating as well. There are fire pits, cozy chairs, and a pool (that seems to be more of a puddle). This hotel is unique in that it promotes socialization. I noticed that there is an abundance of seating not just in the lobby, but on the room floors as well. With the wine and fire pits, it makes for the perfect evening to chat with the other guests. The rooms are also super nice! They were spacious and very clean. The shower was huge with two high-powered shower heads. The shampoo and conditioners bottles were high quality and smelled very nice too. We paid a $75 pet fee and the room, to my pleasant surprise, came furnished with a dog bed and pet food bowl. This hotel is very dog friendly! I would say though that the lighting in the room was very minimal. There was no overhead lighting; just a few lamps that directed light down. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Winters and would love to stay here again!

We only stayed one night but to me, this hotel is beautiful! The rooms are super spacious!! We had one king bed and brought an inflatable queen size mattress for our kids & we still had plenty of space to move around. I have never been in a room with so much space! This hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway. Plenty of restaurants around & tasting rooms. I would definitely love to come back! Staff was also super nice. Also offered us a complimentary glass of wine upon checking in.

Lovely hotel right in the center of old Winters. It has an Italian restaurants downstairs; Carboni's which had a coffee counter in the morning, and sits within a block of multiple great dining options: Preserve, Putah Creek Cafe, Ficelle, Turkovich Wine, Eddy's coffee. You could easily make a romantic weekend out of a visit here. Add in some Hot air ballooning and a massage and you're covered. We chose this hotel because of its walking proximity from Preserve where my daughter's rehearsal dinner was being held. The entire wedding party stayed here and it made a great base of operations for the weekend. Rates can vary widely based on dates. We stayed on a weekend at the end of May. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The AC was struggling to keep up at night when I was hoping to get it below 72. 75 was the best it could do. There are some nice sitting spaces in the lobby and a pretty courtyard with a water feature. We were given wine at check in, that always gives me a sense that all is right in the world. I would definitely stay here again to enjoy Winters. It reminded me a lot of Calistoga/Napa Valley in the 90's.

Okay this hotel is darling! It's pretty from the outside, pretty on the inside. Greeted with a glass of wine! The room is big and spacious. Nice comfy bed. The bathroom is also big and spacious. Everyone's so nice! Highly recommend. Love that they have robes as well. Even if you live close, have a staycation, lunch at preserve with they're jalapeño jelly, dinner at buckhorn, breakfast at putah creek cafe! There's a little wine room around the corner that's darling too!

We absolutely love Hotel Winters. It's a beautiful and charming hotel with the incredible Carboni's restaurant located right in the lobby. My husband and I celebrated our wedding weekend here in May, and a few weeks later we returned for dinner. We were lucky enough to have Leslie as our server, and she was amazing. Not only did she take care of our table, but she also jumped in to help cook and pour drinks because the kitchen and bar were so busy. Her dedication and energy made our night unforgettable!

I stayed here for a work trip a few weeks ago. It's a decent hotel overall. There's a small parking lot next to the hotel that's free and there's also a restaurant/bar connected to the main lobby. The hotel looks nice and renovated the only things I didn't really like was that the A/C was blasting icy cold air and it wouldn't turn off. There was also an annoying beeping/buzzing sound coming from the A/C unit so it kept me up all night. The room needs a floor lamp with a softer light, the only light in the room were the nightstand lamps that were like interrogation bright lights. Other than that, the hotel was nice.

A nice hotel, beautiful but prepare to be disappointed and hear a lot of "I'm sorry, no" responses. My family and I stayed there for a wedding and I loved how the hotel looks but I was let down by almost every aspect of it. Let's start with the rooms. They are clean and very spacious with very tall vaulted ceilings. The rooms are almost bare with how big they are. Bathrooms are clean and well appointed. I had to sign a "No Party" waiver lol. Food. The wedding was catered by their internal kitchen. Many people were forced into the chicken (which was a little dry) because "They didn't prepare enough steak". I asked one of the employees if there was more coming out, "I'm sorry, no". We found an outdoor bar and that was pretty cool. It had a nice view of the Winters area. The drinks were a little pricey but that's to be expected. A bunch of the wedding party loved it out there but they ended up closing the bar 30 minutes early. We asked if they could keep it open until closing time..."I'm sorry, no". Ok, well there was a bar downstairs so we all went down and hung out there. Same story as the restaurant/bar was closing up 30 minutes early. I asked the bartender if we could hang out until the advertised closing time of 9 PM..."I'm sorry, no". (You can see a trend). At this point I was getting kind of annoyed. I asked the bartender if we can just buy a bunch of canned drinks and luckily she would allow it but you can tell that she was crazy about it as multiple people had to ask REALLY nicely. So after that several of us went outside (it was a nice afternoon) to the pool area and sat in the chairs by the pool. At 9 or so they turned off the lights and the fountain on us. That was the Hotel saying "I'm sorry, no" haha. There was also this one person at the front office that had the worst RBF on earth. This guy completely came off like this was the last place he wanted to be and helping a customer was not his jam. In closing I probably won't be back. However I have to give our wedding bartender props. She was friendly and handled her business like a pro.

I recently got married at BFF in June of 2022, and not only was the day absolutely flawless, and beyond my expectations, but the 6-8 months leading up to it were an absolute joy working with Tina and her team at Bear Flag Farm. Highlights: - VENUE- is second to none in wine country, picture the famous lavender fields, beautiful orange orchards, almond groves, sunken rose gardens, and multiple beautiful locations to change up the scenery for you and your guests. BFF is not only gorgeous, but it's exclusive too, this isn't the type of place that manufactures the same wedding every weekend. Each wedding they work on is bespoke, and cared for by their staff and unique to the couple. In addition to this, the venue was super convenient for a bride and her guests (2 huge, new bridal suites make it super easy to get ready with your friends and family), valet parking, and everything handled onsite by Tina and her team. - FLORALS- Not only were the designs next level, but BFF does not hold back on flowers that will blow your mind. When exploring flowers, friends warned me to have low expectations with florals due to budget, but Kathy and her team blew our mind with ginormous, extravagant displays all around the venue, all within budget. People couldn't stop talking about the florals at our wedding, and they were absolutely gorgeous in the photos we just got back - FOOD- the one thing people couldn't forget about our wedding was how amazing the food was. This is not "wedding food", Tina's new catering business has brought in michelin star chefs to bring in a real restaurant food experience to your wedding. Think kennebec chips with caviar, shucked oysters, and black cod. Tina was even able to custom-prepare the Foreign Cinema Madras Curry Fried Chicken as one of the courses, when we mentioned this was special to us because it was the meal we had on our first date. jaw drop. If you want your wedding food to be memorable, beautiful, and delicious, then BFF will prepare food and dessert that's better than some michelin star restaurants in the bay area - STAFF- wow, just wow. For someone who is picky, but didn't want to be a hands on bride, BFF was so easy to work with and so good at putting together the vision and DETAILS I cared about most. Not only was the day run so smoothly, and so much trust was built with Tina, Kathy, and her team, but they were so soooo nice, fun and easy to work with the months leading up to my wedding too. If you want an easy wedding, that is beautiful with beautiful details, this team will put it all together seamlessly. I seriously wish I could work with them every day, beyond just my wedding. Overall, i loved loved having my wedding at BFF. The server told us they operate out of a food truck. So the menu is limited. But what they make is really good! We ordered the lemonade, chicken and waffles, huevos rancheros divorciados, and the strawberry champagne sherbet. Service was very prompt! The actual menu in-person had a couple items that aren't on the sample menu including a couple more dessert options like fig ice cream. We really liked everything we tried! The portions were pretty good. If coming here for food I'd recommend getting here early since food trucks have limited capacity. You're welcome to stroll around the property both the flower farm and the inn side before or after your meal. The parking situation is a gravel lot. So it may not be the most handicap accessible place. We had a lot of fun stopping by Park Winters. They were setting up for a wedding so the inn side would have been closed for the event starting at 1pm. The check also came with a small map of the property for you to keep. This was very helpful in exploring the property. The only caveat is this is the countryside. Wear long pants or be prepared with insect repellent! Even at 10am in the summer my legs were bitten by mosquitoes. (Type O blood. Mosquito magnet here.) I'd like if they burned some citronella candles to help with mosquitoes. The rest of the dining venue was so thoughtfully designed including timed misters (like at theme parks) to help keep the area cool. Definitely check it out if you're curious or in the area.

So they decided to comp the check, given the many issues. Then the manager calls me after we leave, leaves a message, and says, very passively aggressive, "We comped your meal, but you did not leave the server a tip." Servers live off tips. But don't worry, we took care of her tip. Have a good day." Umm, excuse me? I was a server for over 7 years. First of all, I wouldn't expect a tip after the establishment that failed me by not ensuring they had adequate kitchen supplies to keep a Mother's Day up and running. Additionally, I would have added more staff to the day, which would of course be very busy. And lastly, how are we tipped when you comped the bill and walked away, and nobody had cash? We did not ask for the bill to be comped. So for future reference, dear John I don't recommend calling your customers and bullying them over voicemail. You're the problem, not us.

The coffee was good. The staff, including the housekeepers, were kind, friendly, and accommodating. The one place where this hotel needs improvement is in the sleeping rooms. Or to be specific, room 331. When entering the room it smelled like either a smelly dog stayed there or a man with poor hygiene habits lives there. It's a double queen room and the mattress on the bed next to the window needs to be replaced. The mattress has an impression in the middle and I could feel the mattress springs. The pillows also need replacing as they were flat and uncomfortable. If not tightly closed, the bathroom door slowly and loudly swings open during the night, which is frightening as it seems someone has entered the room. The coffeemaker is on a dark shelf with a burned out light bulb, making it impossible to find the outlet to plug the coffeemaker in unless you have a flashlight. Normally I would knock off more stars, but I think that this room may be an anomaly. It is on the top floor at the end of the hall, so it is probably one of the most quiet rooms in the hotel as you don't have noise above you, only one room next to you, and no loud talkers walking past the room. Therefore, it's probably a high usage room frequently requested by hotel regulars. A good friend of mine who also stayed at the hotel had no complaints about her room, which makes me think this room is an anomaly for the hotel.
