Really cute restaurant with an amazing beer wall. You pick your beer and you pay by the ounce. They have a back patio and have concerts over the summer. They offer typical pub food that is good and affordable. Even the drive to this place is beautiful. Definitely give them a try.

Always attend the haunted forest event but have never been to the actual brewery above! The bar is cool with taps along the side wall, perfect lighting and vibe with the tunes. Bartender helped us order with a smile and our food was delivered with a smile. Somebody even came by to ask how everything was going during our meal! Tri-tip dip sandwich with signature sauce was on point! Cheeseburger was juicy and delicious as well! Loved the branded bun, classy touch! Fries were abundantly provided and cooked perfectly. Will definitely come back to try more beers!

We went in on a Sunday evening for the first time and everyone just kinda looked at us. We weren't sure what to do and there wasn't any guidance so that was a little awkward. There must have been a birthday or something because there were several people that were drinking that also went behind the bar to get themselves drinks. We got burgers and sliders. The fries were really good and the sliders were great! The burgers lacked seasoning but were VERY juicy! I liked this they had a ton of local beers. What I didn't like was that the bathrooms smelled like urine and my son and husband both said the same before I even went in there. As it got a little later, the lady who I believe worked there started yelling and cussing. This is supposed to be family friendly and she was throwing f bombs right in front of my ten year old. We had to leave because it was just too rowdy for 7:30pm with our child. We might give it another shot because it might be a blip but you should never see two employees walking behind the bar to get themselves drinks, it's really unprofessional to see them pour themselves something and then be drinking at the bar...

Quaint little pub! Ordered at the bar and chose a spot to sit down. We got the patty melt which was delicious! I chose onion rings as my side since they were out of fries that day. Hard pass on the nachos. The self serve beer wall was a novelty, but there were only 15 out of the 25 beers available. Which I guess is still a fine selection but just looked sad to see so many empty keg signs posted. Parking was easy and it wasn't crowded on a Friday afternoon.

We happened upon GRB after stopping in Fairfield's Texas Roadhouse which was going to be an hour wait for 10 of us. We were on our way back home from a SF Giants game. The beer wall had many choices purchased by a fob you choose how many oz you want to pour. You also order food from the bar tender and grab your food across the room at the food counter. I'm sure this is the most efficient way considering the size, patio and events they have at GRB. Most of us had burgers and they were fantastic. I think this will become our go-to on our trips back from the bay.

This was a first time visit for me. Met a friend for lunch and some beer tasting on a Friday. It was not busy. They have cards issued to each customer that, when placed above a taphead, unlocks it so you can serve yourself some beer. It measures by the fluid oz. You choose the brews and load up a paddle to carry them to your table. I was pleased to see the variety that they had on-hand. I saw 2 porters and a double-porter, a stout, and a milk stout. All too often, a taproom willl be so heavily weighted towards IPAs that the lovers of more malty styles are left wanting. Not here! I had brought my chill pooch along with me as the place had said they were dog-friendly. Wow...this is an understatement. Not only do they have a nice patio outside the taproom, but if you descend the stairs to the huge back outdoor area, you see the venue that is good for large gathers. Apparently, they rent it out for parties and celebrations. We ordered a sandwich with onion rings and a 1/2 lb patty hamburger with garlic fries. Both were good. Good bread and good bun. I noted the other reviews here mentined slow service. Fortunately, since we weren't in a hurry ad had a lot to chat about, I didn't notice any problems with the service. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Food was great. It just took a long time to come out. We got burgers with onion rings and chicken with fries. The drinks were on point. I love how they have beer on tap literally. You get a beer card from the hot bartender and you choose what beer you want to try. You can do flights or pints. It's up to you. Which makes it dangerous for your pocket. The place is perfect for adults with children. While the parents hangout and drink, the children can play. Plenty of space for the kiddos to run around.

Ask the Community - Green River Brewing & Taproom

Can you bring children to the taproom and outside area?

Hello Joaquin, Yes! We are a family friendly establishment. Thank you for asking and we look forward to seeing you.

    Are you dog friendly?

    Yes

Do you know if they brew their own beer?

Hi, they do. However it's done in small batch. There's usually at least one of their brews on tap when you go in.

Are dogs allowed on the patio?

    yes they are!!

I would love to bring friends from out of town here. Can you bring food and picnic at the outdoor area?

No we are a full service restaurant and cannot allow any outside food, there is however a full menu for you to order from and take into the park. Thank you :)

I saw an advertisement that mentioned trivia on Thursdays. At what time does that take place and how is that conducted? Is it automated or does it tend to get noisy?

Hi Rod, our Taproom Trivia happens every Wednesday at 7pm in our restaurant lounge. We usually have someone running the question system that plays on our screens. Noise level depends on factors and mainly who is in the restaurant that day. But it's…

Do they have a tv to possibly watch Sunday football?

yes we have the NFL Sunday Ticket, with dollar wings and drink specials during each game!!

Please post a menu on your website? don't drink alcohol but would like to go there with my grandkids

I saw people there with kids! They have horseshoes and volleyball down below. Kids would love the pizza! Seems very family friendly!

I recently got married at BFF in June of 2022, and not only was the day absolutely flawless, and beyond my expectations, but the 6-8 months leading up to it were an absolute joy working with Tina and her team at Bear Flag Farm. Highlights: - VENUE- is second to none in wine country, picture the famous lavender fields, beautiful orange orchards, almond groves, sunken rose gardens, and multiple beautiful locations to change up the scenery for you and your guests. BFF is not only gorgeous, but it's exclusive too, this isn't the type of place that manufactures the same wedding every weekend. Each wedding they work on is bespoke, and cared for by their staff and unique to the couple. In addition to this, the venue was super convenient for a bride and her guests (2 huge, new bridal suites make it super easy to get ready with your friends and family), valet parking, and everything handled onsite by Tina and her team. - FLORALS- Not only were the designs next level, but BFF does not hold back on flowers that will blow your mind. When exploring flowers, friends warned me to have low expectations with florals due to budget, but Kathy and her team blew our mind with ginormous, extravagant displays all around the venue, all within budget. People couldn't stop talking about the florals at our wedding, and they were absolutely gorgeous in the photos we just got back - FOOD- the one thing people couldn't forget about our wedding was how amazing the food was. This is not "wedding food", Tina's new catering business has brought in michelin star chefs to bring in a real restaurant food experience to your wedding. Think kennebec chips with caviar, shucked oysters, and black cod. Tina was even able to custom-prepare the Foreign Cinema Madras Curry Fried Chicken as one of the courses, when we mentioned this was special to us because it was the meal we had on our first date. jaw drop. If you want your wedding food to be memorable, beautiful, and delicious, then BFF will prepare food and dessert that's better than some michelin star restaurants in the bay area - STAFF- wow, just wow. For someone who is picky, but didn't want to be a hands on bride, BFF was so easy to work with and so good at putting together the vision and DETAILS I cared about most. Not only was the day run so smoothly, and so much trust was built with Tina, Kathy, and her team, but they were so soooo nice, fun and easy to work with the months leading up to my wedding too. If you want an easy wedding, that is beautiful with beautiful details, this team will put it all together seamlessly. I seriously wish I could work with them every day, beyond just my wedding. Overall, i loved loved having my wedding at BFF. It really is just one day, so choosing the right venue, with an excellent staff is critical in ensuring your wedding is memorable and one of the best days of your life!

We had to stay here for a conference. This CA town has a population of 7500 people. Everyone knows each other and there are 4-6 big families known here from the town's origination. We were greeted upon arrival at the hotel registration desk. The registration is two large sit down desks with the hotel agents offering a glass of wine at check in. There is 1 restaurant attached to the hotel, and it is only open for most business from 4-9 Mon-Sun. They offer a coffee shop with pastries counter service Mon-Wed 7:30a-11:30a. It's a bit inconvenient because if you work earlier than 7:30, you must walk a block to another place or drive 10 mins to Starbucks. The hotel is beautiful, very minimalistic, rustic modern, and the design is geared towards Wine Vineyard/Tuscan/Farm like decor. There is a common area in the lobby, an outside large patio with a shallow fountain pool. The inside offers a two sides fireplace with seating on both sides. A small corner next to the 2 elevators has 3 tablets that are fixed in place for guests, this seems to be a business corner in the open space. There is also conference space. Our room was nice but when we arrived, the toilet paper stand was on top of the toilet seat. This was very odd at 8:30p since they had several hours to quality check our room before we checked in late at night. The good news is that I had no itchiness after staying here. There was a clean bed, bathroom, desk, and carpet. For our 3 night stay, it was a good experience.

The way they take time to think about every single ingredient going into a cocktail or their food offerings. An extremely nice place to take a date, or your family where you can feel relaxed and accepted, yet not lacking in a beautiful atmosphere. I've met some of my closest friends here! My favorite signature cocktail is the mango jalapeño which they thankfully sell in 4 packs and they taste just as good as if they were made fresh. I'm not scared to try drinks made with liquor that I normally wouldn't drink as they are so scientific about the ingredients going into the cocktail that it flows so nicely! They've turned me back onto whiskey just with how delicious it is. Also they kill it with the gin and vodka flavors. 10/10 will always tell my friends and family to visit when they're in town, and if you're a townie and you haven't been here- wtf are ya doin?

Located in the historic downtown area of Winters, the tasting room blends naturally into the town's relaxed atmosphere while still presenting a polished and professional environment. The space itself is inviting and well-designed, creating a comfortable setting where visitors can slow down, learn about the distillation process, and enjoy the spirits being produced on-site. The moment I walked in, the team welcomed guests warmly and immediately created an environment that felt both educational and social rather than transactional. One of the strengths of Patio29 is the way the staff approach the tasting experience. Rather than simply serving samples, they take time to explain the philosophy behind their distillation methods, ingredient selection, and the development of their spirits. That level of engagement elevates the experience because you begin to appreciate the craftsmanship and intentionality behind each bottle. The conversation naturally flows from the history of the distillery to the production techniques they use, which helps visitors understand how small-batch distillation differs from large commercial operations. The spirits themselves demonstrate strong balance and technical precision. Their vodka stands out for its clean structure and smooth finish, making it enjoyable both neat and as a cocktail base. The gin offers a well-structured botanical profile with bright aromatics and a controlled level of juniper that allows other botanical elements to come forward without overpowering the palate. The cocktail program also deserves recognition because the bartenders clearly understand how to highlight the character of each spirit. Instead of masking the base spirit, the cocktails are constructed to complement and elevate the flavor profile, which is a strong indicator of thoughtful beverage craftsmanship. Another aspect that enhances the experience is the atmosphere. Patio29 manages to create a relaxed social setting that encourages conversation and exploration. It feels like a place where locals gather as much as visitors discovering the town for the first time. The tasting room maintains a balance between professionalism and approachability, making it easy for both experienced spirit enthusiasts and casual visitors to feel comfortable. Overall, Patio29 Spirits Co. delivers a refined yet welcoming craft distillery experience that reflects both technical skill and community-oriented hospitality. The combination of well-executed spirits, knowledgeable staff, and a comfortable environment makes it a destination worth visiting if you are exploring the craft beverage scene in Northern California.

The actual menu in-person had a couple items that aren't on the sample menu including a couple more dessert options like fig ice cream. We really liked everything we tried! The portions were pretty good. If coming here for food I'd recommend getting here early since food trucks have limited capacity. You're welcome to stroll around the property both the flower farm and the inn side before or after your meal. The parking situation is a gravel lot. So it may not be the most handicap accessible place. We had a lot of fun stopping by Park Winters. They were setting up for a wedding so the inn side would have been closed for the event starting at 1pm. The check also came with a small map of the property for you to keep. This was very helpful in exploring the property. The only caveat is this is the countryside. Wear long pants or be prepared with insect repellent! Even at 10am in the summer my legs were bitten by mosquitoes. (Type O blood. Mosquito magnet here.) I'd like if they burned some citronella candles to help with mosquitoes. The rest of the dining venue was so thoughtfully designed including timed misters (like at theme parks) to help keep the area cool. Definitely check it out if you're curious or in the area.

First of all, I wouldn't expect a tip after the establishment that failed me by not ensuring they had adequate kitchen supplies to keep a Mother's Day up and running.
