We received friendly service and seems like a great place to have a few cold ones, hang out and enjoy some food. We went with the self serve, pay by the ounce taps. Horrible service and yucky food! We waited 47 minutes for a BLT, when the food finally showed up, the fries were cold and soggy, and bacon tested rotten... gross! We actually ordered onion rings instead of fries, the server who dropped the food off at our table just said, that's too bad, we are out of onion rings! Really cute restaurant with an amazing beer wall. You pick your beer and you pay by the ounce. They have a back patio and have concerts over the summer. They offer typical pub food that is good and affordable. Even the drive to this place is beautiful. Definitely give them a try. read more

Always attend the haunted forest event but have never been to the actual brewery above! The bar is cool with taps along the side wall, perfect lighting and vibe with the tunes. Bartender helped us order with a smile and our food was delivered with a smile. Somebody even came by to ask how everything was going during our meal! We went in on a Sunday evening for the first time and everyone just kinda looked at us. We weren't sure what to do and there wasn't any guidance so that was a little awkward. There must have been a birthday or something because there were several people that were drinking that also went behind the bar to get themselves drinks. We got burgers and sliders. The fries were really good and the sliders were great! The burgers lacked seasoning but were VERY juicy! I liked this they had a ton of local beers. What I didn't like was that the bathrooms smelled like urine and my son and husband both said the same before I even went in there. As it got a little later, the lady who I believe worked there started yelling and cussing. This is supposed to be family friendly and she was throwing f bombs right in front of my ten year old. We had to leave because it was just too rowdy for 7:30pm with our child. We might give it another shot because it might be a blip but you should never see two employees walking behind the bar to get themselves drinks, it's really unprofessional to see them pour themselves something and then be drinking at the bar... read more

We stopped by on a Tuesday while visiting Winters, and with most places either closed or not opening until later in the afternoon, this brewery seemed like one of the few options available (aside from the café down the street). The "under new ownership" sign probably should have been a hint, but we decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and our waitress was genuinely friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the food was where the experience fell short. We ordered a patty melt, and what arrived really wasn't a true patty melt. It was served on sourdough bread with American cheese. A classic patty melt should have rye bread, grilled onions, and the right kind of melted cheese -- those details matter. If you're stopping in for a drink and to enjoy the atmosphere, it may be worth a visit. But based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend coming here for the food. read more

We happened upon GRB after stopping in Fairfield's Texas Roadhouse which was going to be an hour wait for 10 of us. We were on our way back home from a SF Giants game. The beer wall had many choices purchased by a fob you choose how many oz you want to pour. You also order food from the bar tender and grab your food across the room at the food counter. I'm sure this is the most efficient way considering the size, patio and events they have at GRB. Most of us had burgers and they were fantastic. I think this will become our go-to on our trips back from the bay. read more

This was a first time visit for me. Met a friend for lunch and some beer tasting on a Friday. It was not busy. They have cards issued to each customer that, when placed above a taphead, unlocks it so you can serve yourself some beer. It measures by the fluid oz. You choose the brews and load up a paddle to carry them to your table. I was pleased to see the variety that they had on-hand. I saw 2 porters and a double-porter, a stout, and a milk stout. All too often, a taproom willl be so heavily weighted towards IPAs that the lovers of more malty styles are left wanting. Not here! I had brought my chill pooch along with me as the place had said they were dog-friendly. Wow...this is an understatement. Not only do they have a nice patio outside the taproom, but if you descend the stairs to the huge back outdoor area, you see the venue that is good for large gathers. Apparently, they rent it out for parties and celebrations. We ordered a sandwich with onion rings and a 1/2 lb patty hamburger with garlic fries. Both were good. Good bread and good bun. I noted the other reviews here mentined slow service. Fortunately, since we weren't in a hurry ad had a lot to chat about, I didn't notice any problems with the service. Food was great. It just took a long time to come out. We got burgers with onion rings and chicken with fries. The drinks were on point. I love how they have beer on tap literally. You get a beer card from the hot bartender and you choose what beer you want to try. You can do flights or pints. It's up to you. Which makes it dangerous for your pocket. He tried to kick me out then that got reversed when the owner came up and we showed proof of the issue at hand. And then he continued to harass us and my husband. Demanding he search our DIAPER BAG. Never have I ever gone to a restaurant and been treated this poorly. Bathrooms are completely destroyed but don't worry old man cowboy is there to make sure nobody is bringing in water or snacks for children. The new owner Eric is absolutely horrible to his employees and to anyone having an event in the space. He yelled and cussed out an event coordinator in the middle of their event. I then seen employees walking around the event taking food orders who were very vocal about how he was screaming and cussing at them as well. Saturday night and it was packed and only ONE bathroom in the outside area for a hundred something people and NO TOILET PAPER OR SOAP!! the bathroom was so disgusting. I told staff twice and no one did anything about it. Food took about an hour too and wasn't that great. And everyone is eating after using the disgusting bathroom that didn't have soap so obviously no one could wash their hands. But the bathroom situation for people drinking is just unacceptable!! read more

Going to give this place all 5 stars. The food was great, very delicious and served in a timely fashion. We had a large group and although it was chilly we made use of the huge outside area. The new owners had music playing, had set up games to play and had several fire pits going to ward off the cold. I had been here before but this was the first time with the new owners who are all family members. Everyone I met was very nice and friendly. I met Jesus who started up a fire in our fire pit. He did a great job and I found out he is not even an employee but just the son of one of the owners and was just there to lend a hand. That is the kind of family this is, and they make you feel like part of it. It was a nice outing and I will for sure return. read more

Was looking forward to a nice brewery after a day of paddle boarding at Lake Solano so we decided to come here. Very weird vibe: part Dive bar, part pour your own beer, and part karaoke lounge.. It felt very dive-y with more workers than patrons. Food menu is extensive but nothing tasted homemade. First order of taquitos were black and burnt yet still sent them out to us, which we sent back, and were comped for it. Their name is Green River Brewing & Taproom yet they did not have any of their own beers during my visit. Busy place! We enjoyed some low key drinks while our teens enjoyed the Terror in the Creek Halloween event (lots of thumbs up!). Our bartenders were busy but still friendly and attentive. My husband enjoyed the GRB lager and my rum and coke was well balanced. We did not order food (very long wait) but were told by a regular that the "belly bites" are tasty. There wasn't a wait for food at the BBQ pit down below by all the cool corn hole games. Came out here to support a fellow karaoke buddy who KJ's on Monday outdoors at Green River. Service was friendly and they have quite the beer selection to choose from. Drinks are on tap and use a touch card system that charges per unit. The food was also very good. I had the Cali Burger and it definitely hit the spot! Beer aside, they are a very family friendly environment. In addition to karaoke, they also have corn hole going on outside. Just be careful going down the stairs to their outdoor area. When we first pulled up to this place, I didn't understand the hype. We walked in and still I didn't understand why this place was so popular. Once we walked outside we totally understood!! Talk about a hidden gem. The beer is fantastic. I love the self pouring beer wall, and the food is even better. Get yourself some artichoke dip, onion rings, and anything they smoke. So bad that it was a safer choice to go with a tall can of Pacifico instead of a craft beer. For those who haven't been here, you purchase a beer card at the bar and then self pour at the beer station/wall. Plenty of parking and gives country bar and grill atmosphere. Excited to taste their food! Well I was very disappointed with the food which was unfortunate. I added avocado for $2 and you will see in the pictures what that gets you. I paid 11 bucks for 20 French fries that were no where near worth the price. The pretzels I ordered for 10/11 bucks came out hot and 30 seconds from being burnt and hard as a rock. The green river burger (which I thought for sure would be amazing as it's named after them) was under seasoned and honestly once I removed the patty, the bun and toppings were better. We needed a break and thought we would head out to Green River. We haven't been here since the pandemic started but thought a place along some water would be nice. Parking up top was full so headed down to the park parking area. The place was packed. We walked in and tried to get our bearings as there was so much going on. There is a huge tent as well as a couple of places to order a drink. There is also an area for games like Corn Hole. We went upstairs to order some beers and food. We like the beer card so you can pour how much you want and what size glass. (The great Wall of Beer) We ordered one of their burgers. After finding the right beer, we headed back downstairs and found a table by the creek (Putah). There was actually water in there which was super clear. When ordering food they will ask for a cellphone number so they can text you when it is ready for pickup. (They do not bring it to your table.) The burger was fabulous and we love their fries. One of the staff who was in our area asked how the burger was and we told him it was F----ing Fabulous! After another beer it was time to leave. A good time was had by all! read more
