I'm such a procrastinator and was just hoping to get in before my wedding anniversary which we were celebrating in Jamaica and I wanted my hair to look fabulous. She always takes my crazy curly hair and transforms it into smooth, straight locks. I love how she takes her time trimming up and caring for my hair. First of all, she was on time when I had my appt at 2 pm and I was done by 2:40 pm. I had just went in for a haircut and style. I asked for long layers with face framing bangs and she gave me just that. When she shampooed and conditioned my hair, she gave me the best head/scalp massage and it was so relaxing. She knows her stuff and won't just tell you what you want to hear. Her reputation is everything. I'd rather her tell me she won't do a process like in my case a perm because it would've fried my already over processed hair than do it to make me happy but then have my hair break off. I arrived early, waited for 12 minutes after my scheduled time. No one ever showed up, the salon was dark! They are supposed to open at 10:00 and perhaps something happened, but what bothered me was, I didn't receive a phone call asking if I would like to reschedule. This salon did not leave a good first impression for a new client, needless to say, I won't go back.
