Let me tell yall my story.. So I had gone to another piercing establishment (Raw) for a septum piercing about 3 weeks ago. The piercer barely explained anything, pierced me twice bc the first time was crooked and the second time.. guess what? was crooked. On top of that she was rather stand offish. Came to Immaculate off a recommendation from a friend and bc I just wanted to make sure it was healing well and I didnt feel comfortable going back to my original piercer at the other establishment. Made an appointment with Van. Let me tell yall. 10/10. Customer service with Jonathan at the front desk (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was immaculate, he was very knowledgeable and explained after-care exceedingly well. He was very welcoming and kind. Van immediately greeted me and finished with a previous client. They inspected my previous piercing, and without bashing my previous piercer (which would have been totally justified) they recommended a different placement option, as well as giving me the option to repierce today or wait a couple of weeks to heal by taking out my current piercing. I opted to bear it by getting repierced properly by Van. Set up was to protocol, making sure that they took the time to explain everything before it was done, Van was very patient, kind, and professional, measuring and marking me so that I would be happy with the results. I swore I wouldn't get any more piercings, but after working with Van, im strongly considering my nostril piercing again and im definitely going to Van! Great job yall. As someone who has had multiple piercings done at Immaculate and has also been pierced at other local spots; I can say hands down Immaculate is best. First time here and the wait time was horrible. I just requested a replacement jewelry. It took far too long.

The piercing appointment: The staff member helping me at the front was attentive and friendly. Sarah, owner of the studio and piercer, was so great. I had gotten pretty nervous by the time I got there and Sarah talked me through each step (even just to state "I am walking over to you now" so as to not startle me when I was looking the other direction). The studio was clean and they take careful precautions for maintaining health and safety (re:Covid) of clients and staff. Downsizing appointment: I just went back to get my double helix downsized. Everything was easy and they were very helpful and friendly. Sarah was great about ensuring my posts were downsized enough to avoid snagging on my hair or clothes. read more

I visited immaculate piercing today to pick out jewelry for an earring that fell out. When I got there I tried to open the door, but it was closed and then I saw a sign on the door that said appointment only. As I was reading it, a man opened the door and I asked if I was able to pick out a piece of jewelry. He just pointed at the sign....then he said it's appointment only and shut the door. He was extremely snarky and rude and I was so caught off guard. I'm sure this is a great place to get a piercing but the interaction I had with the guy at the door was so off putting. Ryan is an extremely professional, friendly, & knowledgeable piercer. I'm drawing a blank on the front desk girls name but she was THE SWEETEST and put me at ease about everything. I feel so bad I'm drawing a blank on her name. Both of them make you feel comfortable and welcome and know exactly what they are talking about. I will definitely be back once I'm all healed to pick out some new jewelry. The price is worth it, and I'd hardly consider it "overpriced" since what you're getting is a foreign object through your body. It's much better than going somewhere cheap and disgusting and getting an infected piercing site. This was my third time at Immaculate. Doug was great, super professional, and it felt very safe during the pandemic craziness. He was very informative and made sure I understood everything before proceeding and helped make professional suggestions on my jewelry. I was a little apprehensive as I am probably not the primary clientele for this venue. However, I was thrilled with my experience at Immaculate. They have a long history of being awesome in Columbia and I was actually recommended. My mom has sensitive ears that shut as soon as she takes an earing out so we were shopping for a gauge to see if that would help. The staff was legitimately AWESOME! Super friendly, very experienced and professional. I couldn't take my eyes off the unique piercings some of them had but other than that...I felt like we were treated with the utmost respect and kindness. I stopped by here to get a replacement part for an earring that had broken. The jewelry selection was pretty good the area, but the staff just didn't meet my expectations. As a medical professional, I 100% understand the idea of not touching a fresh piercing. But, to be verbally reprimanded by a very young person for pushing my hair back to show where my earring had come apart, was a little ridiculous. My piercings are several years old, completely healed, and in no more danger of becoming infected than any other part of my body. This place just wasn't the friendliest piercing place I've been to. Went here in a pinch after a jewelry-changing-attempt mishap on a cartilage piercing. Staff looked at the piercing right away for no charge and walked me through my options. They then cleaned it for me and changed out the jewelry (and even waived the insertion fee!) Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their craft and the store was very clean. This place was a bit hard to find, but it was worth it! Immaculate Piercing lives up to their name, it is extremely clean inside. The staff was friendly and nice, and the man who helped me was very very knowledgeable. I came looking for a hoop to replace the L shaped stud that I have had for two years. He looked at my piercing and could tell I needed an 18 gauge and 5/16". The hoop was a bit expensive- $19, but worth it. They had many different colors and styles of jewelry to choose from so that was great. I was ready to get my nose jewelry changed right then, but he asked for my ID and since I'm only 17, he said I needed to have my parents with me. I didn't understand why I needed parental consent to have jewelry changed, since it's not like I'm getting a new piercing, but I decided to leave and find somewhere else to get my jewelry out in, because I didn't want to damage the hoop by doing it myself and I didn't want to wait any longer. Although I can't speak on the experience of them doing a piercing for me, they made my shopping experience very enjoyable. I went to Ouch! To get my piercing put in, and they let me do it for $5 without my parents there. If I were you, I'd buy the jewelry from Immaculate because they have more options than Ouch!
