I came here for a trial class for iso. Never heard of Hotworx before until doing this class. Essentially the concept is, is that you get to attend recorded classes 24/7, but the classes are in saunas. You have to turn on the sauna for maybe 5-10 minutes so it can warm up to your desired temperature. They recommend the sauna be 120F for best results. There are different types of workouts, and from what I remember there was cycing, glutes, and iso--just to name a few. Each sauna room seems to accommodate up to 3 people. You can reserve a class ahead of time and complete your workout. The more workouts you complete and the more calories you burn, you earn points to redeem towards items. The iso workout was like 30-45 minutes long. It was actually very challenging. For a workout in which I usually would be able to complete outside of a sauna, inside of the sauna, it was WAY harder, and I came out of the workout DRENCHED in sweat. Outside of the rooms, there are cubbies where you can place your items in. They have cameras on the inside of the building so that can help with the safety of your items in the cubbies. They do offer little life alert lanyards that you can bring into your workout in case you're alone and worry about your safety--whether from the workout or your personal safety. I highly recommend bringing your water bottle and a towel (they do provide towels but there may be a charge). You WILL get easily dehydrated because you are sweating so much. However, the sweating made me feel very relaxed at the end of the workout. I would love to do their workouts again in the future. Some criticisms I saw when I read about the Hotworx workouts in figuring out if I should join or not, is that the workout videos don't change very often and that people wished the instructors provided alternate movements for movements that may be more difficult for people. Just some things I've noticed in figuring out if I should commit to classes. The staff were very friendly in explaining how the facility runs. Beware of $100 cancellation fee! Team members never answer the phone and aren't very informed when you do get through to someone. Equipment down, speakers in one of the saunas have been down for months. Save yourself the time and money. Cool concept, bad execution. read more

Very disappointed with my experience at HOTWORX. The information we were given when signing up was not accurate, and when we tried to resolve the issue, communication was unprofessional. This place has really changed in the last few months. I have had billing issues for the last few months and everytime I call, the person working says they fixed it but then I get charged for my friend's membership again. No one seems to know the policy. I have asked to just cancel our memberships for 2 weeks now because the initial billing we were promised wasn't a real policy and it was false advertising but they keep telling me I would have to pay a cancellation fee. I asked to speak to the manager or owner because absolutely not am I paying a cancellation fee after this place told me incorrect information for months, and they keep saying they forwarded my info and request to the owner, but I haven't gotten a single call from them trying to fix this. I visited here on a Saturday afternoon to participate in the free workout and guided tour and was happily surprised by how much I liked it! Katya was the person on staff for the day and I felt like she was very attentive and helpful! The hot rooms available are for Pilates and yoga with mats to borrow and foam rollers, Ellipticals, Rowing, cycling, and many other Isometric workouts! They range in time from 35 minutes to 50 minutes and can be scheduled for use via the app. The facility was super clean and well organized and everyone was friendly. I loved the smaller, more private design of the workout rooms and felt very safe and able to work out comfortably. The lowest plan starts at $70+ a month and the highest is $99 which were unfortunately out of my price range as a student, but some discounts based on your career were offered! The lobby also sells almost any sort of equipment you might ever need for a workout along with cute clothing and high quality gym bags. I really wanted to enjoy this place but it's not in a convenient for me to use it. The workouts I give a 5 star BUT 1 star for cancelling. I just wasn't using it and waited the 3 months to cancel. I called before the month started and could t reach anyone. When I finally got someone to pick up they told me about $99 cancel fee or waiting two months because you have to give that notice. I specifically remember being told that I can cancel after 3 months for free when I signed up. So manager reached out and we go back and forth on email. We are now in the middle of August. He offers a free month. I ask what's the cost difference in a free month and cancelling. He says he will get back to me. Then says he's having internet issues to get me that info. And then I get charged another month. Manager reached out to me stating the email never went through but finally was able to resolve the cancellation. read more

I requested a cancellation of my membership on 5/30/24. I opted to pay the $99 immediate cancellation fee versus submitting a 60 day cancellation notice and being charged for those two months. I was given confirmation that my immediate cancellation would be processed on 5/30/24. As of today 7/2/24, I have been charged for the months of June and July. I don't understand why I'm still being charged a monthly membership fee when I have confirmation that my cancellation would be processed on 5/30/24. From what I can see from other reviews on here and reddit, this is a common theme throughout all their locations. I legit feel robbed. This is highly disappointing as I loved this gym and I have been loyal since they opened this location. I was even a founding member for this location and I would have come back in the future, but that will no longer be happening. If I get no response back from management and no reversal on the charges, I will have to contact my bank to file a dispute which is highly inconvenient and an unnecessary stressor. I first signed up at Hotworx about 2 years ago, but ended up canceling due to a financial hardship. I recently started up again and I'm so glad I did! Best workouts in the least amount of time and still reaping the full benefits of health & wellness! Went in for a free session and decided to do a Pilates class to help with my neck pain that I've been experiencing since June 2022 and by the time the workout was done, I felt like I had been given a new neck! Lol! I had full range of motion without pain! Obviously it was temporary, but I was really impressed and so happy that the sauna helped a lot! The room heat is adjustable and also the duration. The workout offered modifications, which I definitely appreciate. The only thing that is missing is music in the virtual workouts, but other than that, it was great! Katya was nice and friendly, provided a brief introduction to all the workouts, gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. I am definitely considering in joining, but I haven't justified in paying for a membership yet. read more

When I first signed up they said after three months I can cancel at any time. Well I didn't want to cancel, but I did want to pause it. They said I can pause it as long as I want. After another three months they started charging me again, and said if I want to cancel I have to pay another two months of $85 and give them a 60-day notice, or pay the $85 and $100 and they will cancel it the same day. So when signing up, just know you're locked in for 5 months minimum. read more

This place is a joke. I signed up for a membership for me and my partner back in January 2023 and ended our membership in May 2023. However, somehow my card that was on file is still getting charged despite being told the issue would be fixed. And just when I thought the issue was finally resolved in December 2023, my account was charged again on 3/4/24 and 4/1/24. This studio has charged me an unauthorized total of $529.85 and only refunded me $238.11. Don't sign up unless you plan on paying for a membership that's already been canceled. read more

My favorite place to workout! This place is good if you want to do various types of cardio, yoga, and free weights. The infrared saunas are absolutely great to burn extra and get a good sweat. There are many perks and the staff is wonderful. The manger Tyrone is very generous when it comes to giving training advice not only on free weights, but any new exercises I want to try. I started recently and have been to come here everyday. Overall, I really like environment and the workouts. There are around 8 different sauna rooms, and you do the workouts in there (isometrics, like pilates, or the hot classes like cycling/rowing). It is very addicting because the classes are short (15 or 30 minutes) but you get such a good intense workout in! Prices are around 70 per month, which is worth it if you go everyday. I also like that there is a lot of privacy and safety features, so you don't really feel uncomfortable and can work on your own pace. read more

Worst experience with a manager and a business that we have ever had. The manager Matthew was extremely rude and actually hung up on me and then processed to call back multiple times, as well as raised his voice and yelled at me and decided to tell me that I "couldn't listen correctly". He refused to hear me and out and listen and proceeded to yell and not even let me speak and get a word out. I stopped all business here and would NEVER come back. Today, I started my fitness journey joining HOTWORX and attended my first class. I am very happy and very excited. Yesterday, I took a tour of the facility with Tyrone. It was a 10 minute quick tour where he showed me around the facility, informed me about the classes they offer, fees, etc. what is great is they offer 1 complimentary class before signing up. I scheduled my class today and before even attending, I knew this is what I wanted. So I signed up! They are open 24/7! Yes! 24/7. With my work schedule, my children's schedule, this works out perfect! Everyday is different so this gives me the ability to work out everyday at different times, that work with my schedule. They have classes that are every 15 mins and every 45 mins. The facility is nice and clean. Bathroom is nice and clean which I think is very important. Staff, AMAZING!!! Tyrone and Sahar helped me sign up for my membership. It was so smooth and easy. It is soooo hard to find great customer service nowadays and it was a breath of fresh air receiving amazing customer service. As I had many questions, they had all the answers and if they didn't they reassured me they would check with their manager tomorrow. Thank you! I did the yoga class today, I sweated my butt off and enjoyed it. As they offer several classes and you book everything on an app you download on your phone. I am looking forward to trying all classes and pushing myself to live a healthier lifestyle. If your time is limited, or your hours are crazy, I highly recommend! I've been going to HotWorx for a couple of months and its the perfect fitness facility for those with a busy schedule. The studio is open 24/7. You can book a class using their user friendly app. If you can't make it, there is an option to cancel too without the pressure of paying fees. Keep in mind to be courteous to other members who would like to book a slot though. They offer 3 HIIT classes: cycle, row, blast (elliptical) and 8 options for the isometric classes so you will never get bored. The staff are very friendly and accommodating too.
