Hourglass Social has quickly become one of my go-to spots, whether I'm looking for a quiet place to study or just a laid-back spot to hang out with a beer. It's a cozy food hall with a few small businesses, which gives it a nice community vibe. I usually grab a seat at the big table it's perfect for studying or just relaxing with a drink. Today I tried the Blueberry Boyfriend, a sour beer, and it was really good. It's refreshing with just the right amount of tartness. I love hourglass! There are always so many different options on top, everything from sours all the way to the darkest stouts. I am so glad I could come here and watch the Olympics while enjoying some free popcorn and obviously enjoying a beer with my husband. There's also good music playing, and a lively exciting ambience. Personally, I got a tiramisu sour beer and it's absolutely hitting the spot. I love sour beers and I love tiramisu, so to see both of these mixed together was really exciting for me. I was a little apprehensive that it would be weird to have a sour beer that was dessert flavored like this but I really quite enjoy it! I'm really excited to come back here soon and try out more of the different beers and of course enjoy more of the free popcorn! read more

I love this place! There are so many choices here from Mexican food, vegetarian vegan plant based, beer and coffee. There is something here for everyone. All the food I have tried here has been amazing. The only issue is not enough parking. read more

Orlando doesn't have a big food hall/market like some other large cities (LA, Cleveland, Columbus, New Orleans, NYC), but it seems more and more of these mini marketplaces are being scattered around town. Places like this are great and I hope more of them pop up around Orlando. Think East End Market meets Boxi Park meets A La Cart. It's a collection of coffee, beer, food, and friendly people (the 4 food groups) where you can hang out and grab a bite and sip on your favorite beverage. Each place has different hours (the french Bahn Mi place was closed) so check the hours before you go. There are other places nearby too making this a part of the Hourglass Social District, which has the Hourglass Brewery across the street (where you are welcome to eat your food from here). A great collaboration of small businesses for local patrons. There is a ton of variety here and you can find something for pretty much anyone! From vegan donuts to a dance studio it's got a lot to offer. The biggest down side is that the parking lot fills up quick and it's a shared lot for all the businesses, BUT there is street parking and you can easily ride a bike if you're local (or walk - get those steps in!)! They offer wifi so you can sit and enjoy while also keeping up to date on your work or school. I like hanging out here and just enjoying a different vibe. One of the best decorated and visually beautiful breweries I have been too, to date. Converted from an old church, we were told, they were beautiful wood rafters with a spacious interior anchored by a sizeable bar. The indoor decorations were a tribute to the owners love of toys - it was a joy to just look around and see what hung from the walls. Quite possibly the largest selection of beers I've seen in quite a while, with great quality that came across as well. One of the few places I've been too that I truly, and honestly, want to go back and experience again. read more

This was a really cute and cozy place. My friend choose to come here for his birthday to get together. It's like a little food hall. There's 3 food vendors and a coffee shop. Foxtail. There's tables and chairs scattered inside but outdoor dining is available as well. We ordered our food from tamale and got a boba from le ky bakery. Great service from both places. 5 Stars for a great collection of small businesses that gives you plenty of choices with no bad ones in sight. Whether you're looking for a beautiful French pastry, a plant-based meal, or a meaty tamale, you'll have to look no further than Hourglass Social House. I really appreciate the citation of businesses in this collective and am a big fan of marketplace concepts like this that give small businesses a brick and mortar opportunity without the responsibility of a stand alone space. There's power in grouping multiple genres of food- perfect for a group with different tastes! My fan faves right now are Le Ky Patisserie and Tamale & Co. What an excellent first time experience! I love the vibe of this place and the ambiance is fantastic! The bar staff was excellent in recommending potential brews to accommodate the palate (and there are plenty to choose from!) They have a great selection of games (in boxes) to play, even for the little kids. It is dog friendly and has just this great vibe. The separate private parking lot just past the establishment is an added plus! Outdoor seating in a relaxed atmosphere, music streaming through the area and lots of laughter and camaraderie abound. What more could you ask for? Great get together spot. Highly recommended!! read more

This place is a hot mess of random things. That's good in some ways and it is weird in others. The parking stinks. The coffee smells awesome. There is a Vietnamese place that oddly sells French pastries????????????????????????????????????? There is a Mexican place that is like the Day of the Dead version of those Halloween pop-up stores, but every day of the year! Good news for anyone who has a sudden urge to do some yoga to calm down, have some coffee to get back up, go dance all that caffeine off, fill up their car with fuel, get their hair done, have some banh mi, some tamales, a churro, some macaroons, go vegan on a whim, learn some stuff, dress up for a Día de Muertos parade, and yell at clouds over not having a parking spot. This is the place for you! FYI, the hipster level is almost off the charts here. Everyone was super nice, though. read more

I miss Philadelphia. But this place eases the pain just a bit. With four businesses sharing the same place, this feels like a micro Reading Terminal Market consisting of a coffee place, vegan eatery, and Mexican and Asian place. While my gf enjoyed a delicious coffee and vegan Crunchwrap I drank my way to an afternoon buzz thanks to local beer and locally made sangria. This place is definitely worth stopping and spending a few hours surrounded by fellow patrons sipping coffee from Foxtail or enjoying a meal from Leguminati. read more

Love this place. Dylan is the best. Well, all the bartenders is great. We love it when there are food trucks on Sunday. They are always willing to help you decide what beer to slect and they remember your likes and dislikes. Dog friendly as well and that makes it even more fun. Love this place. read more

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and various choices of good food and beverages available. My only issue is with the by-the-can (or bottle) selection in the fridge. I stopped by to grab two beers to drink at the house. There were no prices listed. I brought up two IPA's and was told they were $8.50 each. To pay $18 after tax for two cans of beer is quite silly. I ended up going down the street to Aardvark instead and was able to purchase a mix-and-match 6 pack of various IPA's for $16. read more
