    Iced Matcha & Keral's Kulfi
    Ashley C.

Very clean & nice establishment! I got an iced matcha latte & my friend got the Keral's Kulfi, which she said was really yummy! This is such a friendly space to study & do homework as well. I do like the bar concept and how it turns into more of a craft cocktail bar setting at night.

One word. Adorable. I went here to catch up with some people I know and it was very trendy, cute and all around great. The food and drinks were lovely. The morning menu is fairly small but great for a catching up with friends! I will definitely go back! Parking is easy and accessible.

It's a good thing I don't live close to Luminescent, otherwise I don't think you'd be able to pry me away! The interior design of Luminescent is top-tier - this feels like a trendy coffee shop you'd find in LA, something the East side of Orlando really needed! This is a great space to come and work or study - their music isn't too loud, and there's ample (and well spaced out) seating. The baristas were incredibly helpful when I found myself indecisive about menu options, and more importantly they make a mean latte. Overall, Luminescent shows attention to detail in everything they do. From fresh flowers on the tables to purse hooks on the bar, and fresh fruit garnishes, you can tell the Luminescent team is truly committed to providing a great customer experience.

They made their signature drink with pistachio as a matcha and it was smooth and delicious! Sweetened, but not overly so. Paired it with a cinnamon roll, which they warmed up. It was just as good as it looked Stopped in at 3pm on a Saturday and the place was pretty quiet as far as customers, but playing jams. Good vibes.

Unfortunately, like most places, Luminescent has taken a nosedive in quality since it opened. It's no longer a nice quiet place to work during the day. They blast music and the baristas have no sense of urgency. I waited 20 minutes today for a basic matcha before I finally just told them to refund it. Barista was too busy chatting with her friends to make my drink I guess. Such a shame because it's a gorgeous place and the menu is great (when you can actually get what you ordered)

love this place! If you are on the East side you have to visit and enjoy a drink. They have a decent happy hour and the owner's sons are super nice and often assist with working the bar so you can really tell it's a family business. The only thing keeping this place from being perfect is the lack of food! I really hope they get a simplistic small bites menu soon, even charcuterie board options would do. We would love to stay longer every time we visit and enjoy more drinks but it's hard to do so with nothing available to soak up the alcohol along the way!

Luminescent is one of the coolest new coffee bars in town. In recent years, many interesting ones have popped up on East Colonial / Alafaya Trail area. I'll loving it! Luminescent is beautifully designed and has an interesting concept. It turns into a cocktail bar in the evening for the night owls. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They genuinely love what they do and it shows. I've only had a few drinks there because I tend to stick to what I love. The lattes are just the right amount of strong and bold. The Affogato is also on par with other coffee houses. However, I'm obsessed with their Keral's Kulfi! It's got pistachio foam cream, espresso, milk, and soan papdi shavings to enhance the drink. Trust me, it's phenomenal! Their pastries are usually good, especially their croissants. I'm sure I'll venture out with other ones in the future. I like the atmosphere and it's a nice stop to meet friends, hang out with family, or chill for a bit. They have a small parking lot that seems to be shared with a hotel.

I came here with friends to catch up and it was a great time. It wasn't too crazy busy which is nice if you want a chill evening with vibes while also being to hear conversations. They offer some Zaza bites here which I was pleasantly surprised by. I was so caught up with friends that I forgot to take advantage of this. A coffee spot turned bar that offers local bar bites? Yes please. The location where you'd expect, but don't let that deter you from having drinks with friends/loved ones here.

The aesthetic of this place is cute! And the drinks are just as fancy. When you arrive it looks kind of sketchy since it's next to a liquor store but it's definitely a great spot to meet for coffee. I ordered from their holiday menu and everything was very good!

While out celebrating my birthday weekend, this was on my list for a beautiful lounge for coffee and cocktails and wow was it luminescent! Ambiance is beautiful , every inch was well designed by the owner and I admire beautiful things . I ordered an affogato and I had a choice between a carrot cake ice cream or pistachio which I got to try both and it was a coin toss. Both were delicious and the presentation was probably even better. My honey is not a coffee lover so he enjoyed 3 cocktails which he said we are definitely coming back because he even loved the vibe and the drinks. Service was so chill , the owner and bar tender were so cool and knowledgeable. We chatted about local food spots and his vision for the place. 5 stars all around!

Fun vibe, beautiful interior decor and amazing drinks! The cocktails are well balanced with an Indian twist. Loved every single concoction, but my favorite has been the warm chai one with the little biscoff this was like a warm hug. I will keep coming back and recommending this place to everyone who's looking for a nice chill laid back atmosphere and great and knowledgeable bartenders.

Interesting concept: a space that functions as a cozy coffee shop by day and transforms into a cocktail bar by night. It is a bold dual-identity that actually works, though the location feels a bit unexpected. Part of me thinks this concept would thrive even more in Waterford Lakes, Mills 50, or Winter Park--but I admire the ambition. The name is memorable, and while I love the brand direction, a refined or deeper color palette could elevate the aesthetic even further. The interior design, however, is nothing short of breathtaking. The space is meticulously curated--warm lighting, balanced textures, and a color scheme that photographs beautifully at any hour. It is so stunning that I genuinely considered using it as a backdrop for engagement photos. Whether you're here for a quiet morning latte or a moody late-night drink, the ambiance adapts seamlessly. I tried their signature Blackout Brew, their take on an espresso martini. It is bold, smooth, and unapologetically strong. There's a subtle note--nutmeg or cinnamon--that caught me off guard, but it did not overshadow the drink's overall craftsmanship. A beautifully executed cocktail with personality. Staff members were friendly, especially the bartender who made great recommendations and added to the experience. I definitely plan to return during the morning hours to explore their actual coffee program. A beautifully designed space with a unique concept--and absolutely worth a visit for anyone who appreciates vibes, visuals, and a well-made espresso-forward drink.

Absolutely love the ambiance inside. Beautiful interior and very welcoming. The barista was very friendly and helpful as well. I ordered one of their signatures lattes that combine rose and cardamom in have never had cardamom in coffee before so was intrigued to try it. It was a delicious combination, and probably one of the best lattes I've had in a very long time. I definitely want to come back to try their cocktails. Overall it was just such a great experience even though I was only there for less than 10 min.

They have a few nice craft beers on tap and the most amazing hummus platter ever. So many places give you a tiny dollop of hummus, a few crackers and if you're lucky a few cut up carrots. Not here, you get a giant amount of hummus - you get house made lavash - and you get beautiful baby medium sized carrots and all of that is only $8 on happy hour. The hummus is very flavorful with a tiny kick and the lavash is super crunchy with an amazing seasoning on it that reminds me of "everything bagel seasoning". You'll see two different pictures - these were taken a year or more apart but you can see things have barely changed. You always get the amazing crackers and carrots and a huge amount of hummus. They also have a few great wines by the glass on happy hour, some yummy sliders, and now a pepperoni pizza that looks awesome but I haven't tried yet.

Other than that, the food was great. I sampled a few items of the apps that people ordered. From what I can remember, the truffle fries really stood out. For my entree, I got the chopped elk medium cooked. It was fantastic. Very delicious and almost tasted like a really beefy meatloaf. Not gamey at all. The sauce drizzled on it was so savory. I wished there were more mashed potatoes underneath because those were amazing too. It was also a very big portion. Definitely recommend. Would come back again and try something else or even order that again.

My friend treated me to a birthday lunch this week and when we got to the table, the staff had a birthday card waiting for me! How thoughtful! We came during happy hour and decided to try a few small plates and drinks. The Egg Rolls are a must! They were packed with flavor and a variety of ingredients. My friend especially loved the shrimp. We also tried the quesadillas and sliders on the happy hour menu. Both dishes tasted incredible! Sadly, though the happy hour has half priced apps, the plates are also half sized. They were absolutely delicious, but the dishes felt overpriced for the portion size. As for drinks, I tried the sangria flight. I wasn't expecting such a full portion size and was pleasantly surprised with that. I did, however, only find 2 of the 4 drinks to be especially tasty. I wouldn't order that flight again, but would be interested in their wine offerings. I loved the low lighting in the space as it set such a calm and laid back mood. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and especially loved the food! Totally recommend.
