Haraz Coffee House has a beautiful space, a modern clean elegance. The staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. I love the chill vibes. I ordered a beef and cheese empanada, spinach and cheese pastry, along with the Saffron Latte, and one hot and one cold Pistachio Latte. They coffees were bold, strong, and the flavors are very distinct. If you have a sensitive palate, you'll really taste the saffron and pistachio. I thought the hot Pistachio Latte tasted better than cold, but that's just a personal preference. They have plenty of pastry choices and a decent size drink selection. Their seasonal iced drinks look amazing so it'll be worth getting next time. It's a great place to meet up, coffee date, or get some work done. Haraz Coffee House is an amazing coffee shop chain and this particular location is located in a small shopping plaza located on Alafaya Trail just north of East Colonial Drive (State Road 50). Haraz Coffee House got its start in Dearborn, Michigan back in 2021 when Hamzah Nasser opened the first location of Haraz Coffee House and the idea of bringing Yemeni coffee to the community. So what makes Yemeni coffee so special? Well, Yemeni is considered to be the birthplace of coffee with the beans grown at high elevations. The beans themselves have an incredibly rich flavor and while a bit higher than other Coffee, such a fantastic coffee is worth a little more. The service here was friendly and i ordered a pistachio latte (hot). I have to say that this coffee was absolutely fantastic. The ambiance here is very comfortable and really adds to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this particular coffee shop and in particular, their pistachio latte. I did not complain, I sipped on it while we visited and just threw it away. The Harazi coffee was undrinkable. My friend did not want to complain so she just left it on the counter. Haraz Coffee House is one of the newer coffee houses in the Winter Park area. I got the chance to try out some of their food when a friend of mine brought some along for a group picnic, and I just knew from then on I would have to visit this coffeehouse. I finally got the chance to go to the physical location, and it was an okay first experience. I ordered their matcha and creme brulee, and both were okay at best. While I probably should have leaned more into their Middle Eastern pastries and drink selections, I decided to stick with the options I know far too well. However, on my next visit, I will be sure to lean into trying the Middle Eastern influenced pateries and drinks. Speaking of Middle Eastern, the interior decor of Haraz is absolutely stunning. It was well designed, and it pays beautiful homage to the Middle Eastern culture with gold accents all throughout the venue. It gets ample light, and there is a decent amount of seating. The service is not super fast, but it is also not super slow. The staff is kind and personable for the most part. Everyone is attentive. Parking is not the greatest, so be warned. There is street parking and parking out back, but it is all first-come, first-park! Pricing is standard for a specialty coffeehouse of this nature. All in all, I am looking forward to seeing how Haraz settles into the area and grows with the community, with its unique offerings. What a little gem of an establishment. It's large and cozy and comfortable for relaxing working and having a nice coffee with a sweet treat. The service was quick, nice and efficient. I love the ambience as you walk in. It's very peaceful. The coffee was just as I expected it to be. It was flavorful and well-made, as was the croissant and the baklava. A friend suggested i stopped here for an outstanding cup of coffee. All i had ever seen about Turkish coffee was online so i had no idea what to expect. First as soon as you go through the door you can tell this is a place that cares about your experience. Brightly lit and beautifully decorated, everyone that was there seemed very relaxed as if they had checked their stress at the door, event though some seemed to be working. After being thoroughly tempted by the large selection of treats, my wife locked in on her pistachio selections which she loved. The cheesecake was sweet and creamy and the late was just the right amount of sweet with a silky texture. I asked for the Turkish experience, i may have sounded a bit ignorant, but they kindly humored me. As you can tell by the pictures I fell in love with the presentation, the tray, the cup the details all of it. Then came the tasting. The warm bitterness of the hits first with the warm, perfect for a black coffee lover like me, then as you breathe out you feel the aromatic flavor of the cardamom. Yemeni coffee shops are one of my favorites to visit so when I saw Haraz nearby where I was working I had to stop. The cafe is beautiful- so stunningly decorated with gold accents and touches of Middle Eastern culture. A wonderful place to sit and relax for awhile. I got a dragon fruit matcha, but it didn't have much fruity flavor so it ended up being more like a regular matcha and it wasn't the best. Also got the dubai chocolate strawberry cup because i'm obsessed and it was delicious. However, everything was crazy expensive here. I know that's how things are right now everywhere but it was over $20 for the strawberry cup and a normal size, average-tasting matcha. That's insane, and unfortunately I wouldn't come back as I could get a better value deal many other shops. read more

I have been wanting to try Haraz since they opened! I finally stopped in yesterday - WOW The store is so so beautiful! I wish I lived in the area because I would be taking advantage of the beautiful seating area. Bring your work or a book and hang out in this gorgeous space. It's a decent sized seating area and there are also a few little vignettes by the entrance. The desserts and coffees we tried were so delicious. The Mosaic cake is like, the perfect fudgey brownie and there's a bit of chocolate shell on the edges. I asked for a lightly sweetened iced pistachio latte and it was great. Came today for breakfast to this Middle Eastern coffee house. I'm not a coffee drinker but heard they had great teas as well. I ordered a hot Adeni/Karak Chai tea, a Tomato Olive pastry and a Pistachio Mosaic Cake (because of course I have to balance savory with sweet). The staff is very friendly and explained that a Mosaic cake is a fudge chocolate cake, which sold me. I picked out one of the many tables and waited for my food. I like that they bring everything right to your table. The inside is beautiful with golden symbols and sayings on the walls. My tea arrived first and OMG! It tastes like the Masala Chai I usually get at Indian restaurants. I love cardamom and the tea had a lot of that flavor in it. Plus, I was able to get it with almond milk because I am lactose intolerant. Next came my pastry and Mosaic cake, on real ceramic plates plus a golden fork. The pastry was great, like a Mediterranean pizza with a strong olive taste. Next I tried the Pistachio Mosaic Cake. It was definitely like a fudgy dense triangle of chocolate cake. This shop is so adorable! I was very excited to try it as I had always forgotten about it even though it's nearby to my house! I wanted to try those bees bites today so I said let me stop in with my son! I walked in and got to the register and two people were there, but did not acknowledge me, the one gentleman came to the front and said can I take your order and I said this is my first time here and what's your most popular drink, he did not ever crack one smile and I asked him about the pistachio latte and then he said yes it's popular. I decided to get it iced, got the bees bites and a pistachio tres Leche cake. I thought that the bees bites was going to be warmed up, I could've sworn I saw them warm it up, but it was cold, hard and dry. The tres leches cake did not have any pistachio flavor as other reviewers mentioned, but it was nice and moist. I gave it to my son anyway, so he wouldn't know the difference. The pistachio latte was different, I probably wouldn't get it again, but it was very very earthy. I just wish I was treated a little nicer. I also started taking pictures and mentioned that I was going to give a review and I thought he would be nicer at the end but no, he wasn't. Oh well, I probably won't be giving them my business again, but it really is a beautiful Coffee shop. I have recently fallen in love with the vibe of Yemeni coffee shops, and this one did not disappoint. It was a beautiful interior, with such a nice ambiance throughout and a great playlist also. The food was incredible; I've never had bee bites, but wow was it good. The bread was incredibly soft and the sweetness from the honey, combined with the creaminess from the cream cheese was just perfect. My friend also loved the pasty, no notes! Something that is so well deserved on an off day. This is a picker uper for sure! The decor inside is beautiful! Hints of gold and and a light sage/pistachio to give the atmosphere a warm welcoming accent. We didn't wait long before we got pur order. While enjoying the delicious pastries and refreshing and energizing coffees we asked Ishika (a staff member) a few questions about our order. We were curious about the pleasant flavor in the Turkish coffee. Ishika was so helpful. She answered our questions. We had a lovely conversation with her. She is a very sweet and we appreciated her taking a few mins of her time to come and talk to us a little bit about Haraz. It says a lot about a staff member who takes the time to talk to customers. It shows that she is a true active listener with excellent customer service skills and not to mention multitasking because I'm sure we did interrupt what she was doing. I went in the early morning and it wasn't busy so I was able to order right away. I ordered the bee bite, they warmed it up for me and it was delicious. I also enjoyed the matcha with lavender, if you are on the sweet side of things, I recommend asking for it be sweeten. The place is a great space to relax, study, or hang out. The inside design of the space is beautiful and the black and white flower paintings on the walls adds a great touch to the space. I had already gone to the location in Tampa. So when I heard a location opened up in Orlando, I decided to check out this location as well. They did a great job with the decor and ambiance of this place. The people working here are super friendly and helpful. There can be quite a line and wait when it gets busy, so just keep that in mind when you come during the weekend. But the coffee was just as good as the one I had in Tampa. I believe this place has the best brewed coffee in Orlando. From Mocha Lattes, teas, dark or medium brew there is a wide range to choose from. Then we have sweets pastries like Baklava and etc. You are greeted as soon as you enter the door and treated as a valued customer. The shop has merch for sale as well like thermals. The ambient vibe was nice, but the overall experience missed the mark for me. The server who rang me up wasn't outright rude, but definitely didn't seem happy to be there. I ordered the Dubai Mosaic, which was listed as $8 on the menu, but I was charged $10. The slice was pretty small, and I was puzzled by the price difference, but I didn't have the energy to ask especially since I already didn't feel very welcome. The café was about 50% full yet surprisingly quiet, which made the whole vibe feel a little off. I didn't enjoy the mosaic myself (though my mom did), but for $10 it just didn't feel worth it. The coffee came in a slim cup and wasn't good at all. I've had much better pistachio lattes for cheaper. I'm not from the area and really wanted to support a local shop with great reviews, but this experience just wasn't it. A small latte and a small slice of "cake" with tip came out to $20.12. This is the only place in the Orlando area that serves Yemeni coffee so, as a coffee snob, I had to make the 30 min trek from my home. The setting is clean and modern. A large assortment of Middle Eastern deserts like baklava are also served. After chatting with the friendly person behind the counter for some recommendations, I ordered an espresso, baklava, and a cold, sweetened coffee drink the name of which escapes me. Everything was outstanding. When I left I bought a bag of their whole, Yemeni coffee beans, medium roast, which cost around $26. I'll be using those beans in my Aeropress at home.
