I decided try to Lineage after hearing so many good things about it. I stopped by on a regular weekday morning and was surprised by how crowded it was. You definitely have to come earlier in the morning to guarantee a seat. There was a little bit of line, but the baristas were nice and kept it moving. They also answered questions about the menu and gave a recommendation for honey cloud later as it's most popular. I ordered the cloud foam honey latte. To be very honest, this drink was not for me. The honey was overpowering and bitter, it kind of ruined the taste of the coffee. Overall, this place is cute! But it's really crowded, not great for remote work and didn't love the drink. read more

I've been coming to this well established coffee shop since I moved to the city 8 years ago. Coffee here is always solid. Smooth, rich espresso pulled currently. Service can be slow, but this is probably due to it always being busy. Pastries here are great if you can snag one before they run out. I have several reasons for the 4 star review. First, the seating here is very uncomfortable. It's shocking that people come here to work. The next is the staff. Although they aren't rude, they seem to have their regular cool "incrowd" that they treat very warmly. I love the atmosphere full of natural light. There's a lot of seating too so it's a good spot to study or do work at. I recently got the spinach feta danish and it was really good! The coffee is really good and the prices are very fair especially considering the work they do to use local products. I didn't even know someone made oat milk locally in Orlando?! There is plenty of space to work or just hang out without feeling like you're taking up space. I love the outdoor seating as well and the ample parking on the side of the building. I also like that the location allows me to walk around if I choose to. The only downfall for me is that they did not have sugar-free syrup options at all. Lineage off Colonial is spacious, has plenty of seating, and is serving up some really yummy drinks. We dropped in after landing at the airport one morning and hung out for an hour. The amaretto latte was amazing. Not too sweet, creamy, and coffee forward. We grabbed two bags of beans to brew at home. The coffee and atmosphere were great but the service was meh. There were 3 employees working and the one at the register was aloof and didn't want to be there. Seems to be a theme with Lineage since the same applies to the east end market location. I went to the library and multiple cafes and nowhere was working, multiple uber drives and money wasted until lo and behold someone on Reddit said Lineage is the top place to go to for working or studying! I am sitting here sipping on my iced vanilla matcha in another world, enjoying my pastries and feeling stress free! I've been to over 10+ cafes in Orlando, and this one is by far one of the best. First thing I noticed was that there is a sense of community. People of all different aesthetics are inside reading, studying, and chatting in a well-lit environment which upgraded the ambiance for me. I got a lot of good recommendations and ended up getting the Amaretto Latte (seasonal drink). The drink is of high quality, and I am overall satisfied with it. The menu has a lot of diverse unique flavors that you don't normally see at cafes while also offering the classic flavors. There is a variety of seating (including outside seating as well) and plug-ins near (or under) the seat, which is great for studying. In Mills50, it is usually crowded to get parking but here there was no competition, there is a big parking lot. I would definitely make the 40 min drive here again, check this place out! read more
