Great coffee, great food, great price, great location. You can't beat it! Plus every waiter is sweet and welcoming, and your food comes fresh and fast. I love coming here in the morning and sitting outside to enjoy a coffee and catch up on emails. Today I decided to try the full breakfast and I was not disappointed. 10/10 highly recommend taking a cute stroll around Avalon and grabbing a bite at The Bakery!

My husband and I LOVE a good coffee shop when we're traveling, I happened to find this one as we were also hunting for breakfast, and it seemed unique. And it was. The aesthetic is very modern and clean, they have plenty of tables. I was a little overwhelmed with the options but the servers were so nice and patient! The coffee was bomb. I got a white chocolate latte and it was super flavorful. My husband got the pink latte which is basically a french vanilla latte but it was super rich and very unique. He was glad he tried it, it was delicious. The pastry shelves were INSANE! My cousin was nervous everything would be sold out as we went late morning, but they had plenty of items left. Their croissants are perfect and flaky. THE FOOD. I got the eggs my way but the cheese arepa was the star of the show. It was so good. My husband got the Colombian tamale and it wasn't like anything he has ever had but it was really good. I loved the tiny arepas that came with it. Such a cool spot with fantastic food. Whether you want a quick breakfast pastry to go or something more formal, they have it, and I'm almost positive you won't be disappointed.

What a hidden gem in Avalon! Maybe not so hidden because the place was packed! I can clearly see why after eating here. The staff was a STAFF. They were plentiful and helpful orders came quickly to every table. The breakfast we ordered was spectacular as you can see and piping hot! Everything was so clean and fresh tasting! The Bakery has gorgeous outdoor and indoor seating and not to mention it's also absolutely spotless. Prices were great! Love the decor as well very inviting and modern. Will certainly be making this a staple. Special thank you to Heidi and Jorge!

I have come to this bakery numerous times and it has never failed me. It is a great environment to enjoy coffee, a pastry and a great book. The employees are welcoming and always willing to help. They serve a variety of food and drink options!

he Bakery Colombian Cafe is located in Waterford Lakes, FL. For those of you not familiar with the area it is South-East of Downtown Orlando. The bakery is located in a very cool town center style area. It's got a great vibe and beautifully decorated. The staff working here are very friendly and the food is amazing. They have everything from Empanadas, Pan de Bono, Fried Pork Belly, Arepas, traditional Colombian breakfast, Cheeseburgers with French Fries and a very nice variety of pastries. Everything we have tasted has been amazing. If you want to be adventurous, you have to try their different sauces. The Pique or hot sauce is great with the empanadas! Give this place a try! You will definitely love it!

This location offers a little bit of everything from cookies to sweets to savory bites as well as full meals. We wanted a little something sweet to end our day so we got one of the pastries and several of the cookies to try. The pastry my husband got was delicious. It had cream cheese and guava in it. He said the dough was super light and flaky and he really enjoyed it. The cookies were OK. The oatmeal cookie definitely was not what we were expecting and we honestly ended up throwing most of it away just because the flavors didn't suit our palette. The macadamia nut cookie and the red velvet cookie had great flavors. I just wish they were a little softer as my preference is almost cake cookies.

I just ate here for the first time and am so excited to see this cute spot in AP! They have so much more than a traditional bakery! Real hot food, sandwiches, beer and wine, plus all the delicious bakery items and REAL coffee and espresso drinks! The interior is absolutely adorable and they have lots of outdoor seating too! Everyone was friendly and the drinks and food were delightful.

The empanadas and alfajores are amazing, so are the chai and pink latte. It is also very clean and welcoming inside. The ladies working were also very nice and friendly. So good that we went back the day after our first visit!

We stopped by The Bakery Colombian Cafe in Avalon Park and it was such a sweet experience! We tried their iced mocha coffee--smooth, rich, and just the right kick of caffeine. The M&M cookie and chocolate chip cookie were soft and packed with flavor, perfect for a midday treat. We also had a warm, cheesy pandebono (a must-try Colombian classic), and washed it down with an ice-cold Colombiana soda. To end it on a high note, we had their creamy flan, and it did not disappoint. Cozy vibes, authentic flavors--this spot is a hidden gem for sure!

Cute place in the middle of Avalon park. They have lots of sweets and baked stuff. Service is fast and friendly people. Prices is moderate. Ordered the arepa with eggs. It was tasty and fresh. A little bland on the eggs, needed Tabasco. Overall a good place for coffee and baked sweets.

Since I go often to the UCF area and they are not too far at that point, it had been on my radar for some time. I finally made it and crossed it of my list! The restaurant is open and has both indoor and outdoor seating with street parking nearby. It is nicely decorated and makes it inviting as you see the pastries and goodies in the cases as you walk in. The staff is nice, friendly, attentive and happy to answer questions or make any suggestions. I dined in and had the pollo encebollado with rice, salad and french fries. The chicken was tasty and cooked to order, the rice needed more flavor as it was bland. The dressing on the salad was a nice vinaigrette. I ordered the almohabana to go, to have later with coffee. A good addition to Avalon.

Our order was taken, everyone's food arrived, but my meal never came out. When I asked about it, the waitress appeared to realize the mistake but did not take accountability. Instead, I was told she would "check in the back," and 15 minutes later she returned with my food claiming it had been there all along. To make matters worse, my daughter ordered her churrasco medium, and it came out well done. My drink was also forgotten. Mistakes happen, but what was most disappointing was the lack of ownership, communication, and effort to correct the situation. I asked to speak with a manager, but it seemed like the request was ignored or avoided. Coming from someone who has managed restaurants before, it is disheartening to see this level of service and lack of accountability. Unfortunately, based on this experience, my family and I will not be returning.

Service was super friendly and helpful - they made us feel right at home! We ordered the carne asada con tostones ($16), empanadas ($2.25 each), chorizo con arepa ($5), and the sancocho soup special ($14.50), and everything was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The empanadas were crispy and well-seasoned, and the chorizo was wonderful. But the highlight had to be the sancocho soup. It was so flavorful and filling. If they have it when you go, don't skip it! Highly recommend checking this place out if you're craving authentic Colombian food. I'll definitely be back!

I passed Colombia La Bella several times while in town and finally was able to stop in for dinner…read more My wife is Colombian so I am always sceptical of Colombia food and it's authenticity. When I sat down and read the little menu card of desserts they had on every table and notice tiramisu was offered I was wildly skeptical. But that is where it ended. What an amazing and authentic Colombian restaurant. I ordered the beans and rice with Maduros and everything was perfect! You may know Colombian food is very heavy otherwise I would have liked to order more but I had to save a little room for dessert. One true sign of an authentic Colombian restaurant is their breads (Pan de bono was served and it was amazing) and their dessert. Not tiramisu but brevas con queso. This is truly Colombian and is great when you can find it. This is a nice and clean restaurant with real Colombian food. I highly recommend it.
