    We bought a set of appliances from Durochers about 3 years ago. Last September, our refrigerator…read morestopped working. During the first service call, the repair people somehow cracked the inside of the fridge. I was told there is no way to fix the damage. The refrigerator needs a part from Samsung that has come in damaged now 4 different times. Durochers can order the part for next day delivery, so they could have tried far more than 4 times, btw. The last time, the part sat at Durochers for over 3 weeks before they even inspected it. ​ We have repeatedly asked for a manager to contact us, but been ignored every time. We have not had a working refrigerator in over 6 months now, but Durochers hasn't offered an apology or any sort of assistance.

I cannot begin to report that Durochers had the best salespeople and delivery workers I have ever seen in the appliance business. For starters, saleswoman Kathy C. went out of her way to help me with scheduling my most recent delivery. Even on her day off, she kindly helped me with some questions I asked her about. The delivery and installation men were Superlative. I had the best experience with Justin and Stephen. They were very prompt and gave me updates on when they would arrive, complete with texted maps of where they were in terms of getting to my house. Their installation was very well done, and I contribute that to the attention to detail they had in doing it. They was extremely courteous and respectful. I give Durochers great credit for having delivery and service people like these two young men. Outstanding! I have always been pleased with the appliances, service and delivery at Durochers. In addition when I needed a broken refrigerator shelf replaced the service department was excellent. I actually received the shelf a day after I ordered it. I was also given information on how to get reimbursed by the glass company as the shelf was still under warranty. ( I want to add that I had a $500 gift certificate from Lowes that I could have used, but preferred to deal with Durochers instead. By dealing with them I avoided the aggravation and hassles in dealing with a big box store that I felt could care less about its' customers).

    On 12/20/24 we took our Dyson V 10 Cyclone into Sweeping World to get repaired. The regular store…read morewe usually go to had closed. We spoke with Dennis who told us he had a guy who could repair anything. He also suggested we get a new filter which he ordered. We asked him for the cost and he started talking about religion. So we left without the cost. On12/27/24 we went to pick up our part and the canister kept falling out of place,. Dennis said to take it home and try it. Of course we had to pay him $20.00 for the repair and $40.00 for filter plus $4.65 tax. We brought it home and the canister wouldn't lock in place and the attachments kept falling out. On 12/28/24 we went back to Sweeping World and told Dennis it wasn't fixed. He wanted us to leave the vaccum with him, but we didn't trust him so we left with the vaccum . Three hours later he called us to say he would get us a used dust bin. On 12/30/24 we went to the Fix It Shop on 1801 West Sylvania , Toledo, OH. Phone Number:419-473-1209 and spoke with Mike the owner. He checked the vaccum and said it was not fixed correctly. He saw that the one piece was broken in 4 places and that the seal was not in the correct place. Mike told us he would order us a new canister and install it for us. He also said that Dennis at Sweeping World should reimburse us for the $20.00 in labor since it was done incorrectly. We then went to Sweeping World and tried to speak to Dennis about reimbursing us for the $20.00 in labor because it was not done correctly. We told him to make things easier we would pay for the filter plus tax. He refused to reimburse us. He said he could get a used canister and we said no. He then offered to get us a new canister, but we didn't trust him. We left. Never under any circumstances go to Sweeping World. Dennis is verbally abusive and he lies. Instead go to the FIX IT SHOP ON 1801 WEST SYLVANIA AVENUE. PHONE NUMBER IS 419-473-1209 AND TALK WITH MIKE.
