It took him 3 visits to correct and on one visit the light and backup light in the surgical center failed. Truly, could qualify for medical malpractice if one wished to pursue that. Her vision is .75 in that eye meaning she could use glasses. We had the other eye treated elsewhere and the vision is clear in that eye, no glasses needed. Astigmatism in the eye that Dr M treated is also worse than the other eye. A friend says there he has messed up her treatment as well, but don it know the details. Hope this information can be useful to others health.

My biggest advice is to educate yourself on what your insurance truly covers before you go. The doctor was good, but the billing process was concerning. Despite having a high-premium insurance plan--where my out-of-pocket cost for new glasses is usually very low--they attempted to increase my payment by adding unnecessary copays and adjusting tier levels to make me pay more. When I contacted my insurance representative to clarify, the office rep did not want to speak with my insurance and went on to inform me that they had actually stopped accepting my insurance, i guess a minute after I got my insurance rep on the line lol! Staff barely acknowledged me, never measured my eyes, and didn't check lens fit, etc. Pressure to buy: trial contacts felt dry and vision was blurry, but they still pushed me to purchase. Hostile management: when I called back, the manager (Krystal) told me "you shouldn't even have showed up, you don't need an Rx, you didn't buy anything." She also said I couldn't get a refund because I used insurance. Misleading process: they never told me upfront that I would not be allowed to speak to a doctor during a "remote exam." Wrong prescription: they gave me mismatched strengths (one too high, one too low). My new doctor confirmed my prescription hasn't changed in years and fitted me properly with the daily Acuvue lenses I originally requested days later. Bottom line: This office is focused on sales, not patient care. I strongly recommend going elsewhere. I tried to file a complaint with regional management, but Krystal pretended to be her and intercepted the call. So now I have to file a formal complaint to the Optometry Board. Sigh.
