The strip is as long as the toast. The batter sticks to the chicken. The crinkle fries are similar but crunchier. The Texas toast is slightly smaller but more toasted and buttery. The Layne sauce tastes a slightly big spicier than Canes. They also some other sauces or GRAVY. They also have milk shakes. Since this was my first visit, I was given a free small shake. I had the strawberry, it was creamy with the right amount of sweetness. Not as thick as a Frosty though. Server are as friendly as Canes. This store took over the old DQ location. The dining area is clean and spacious with tasteful decor. Lighting is a bit brighter than Canes. I'll definitely be back to try their other stuff. I had the three finger deal which was $10.60.

Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized only half of my order had been given to me. At first, I didn't think anything was wrong because of the size of the containers, but once I opened everything, the portions were surprisingly small, especially the fries. The chicken was bland, and even the Layne's sauce lacked flavor. I understand that Layne's Chicken Fingers is a Texas-based chain, but after this experience, I'll continue giving my business to its competitor, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. I had high expectations based on recommendations and reviews from friends and colleagues, but the food and service simply didn't live up to the hype. Overall, the experience was very underwhelming, and I won't be returning.

You walk to the front of the house where Angie immediately greets you with all the southern hospitality on the planet. Teams are smashing whole potatoes into fries and the place is BUZZING with activity. Clean including bathrooms. Food was ready faster than you can expect and steaming hot. First bite and you're like likely one of the best cheesesteaks I've had and I'm a fan of them. I did not get spicey but will be back to try it and possibly tomorrow. Toasted Kaiser roll crunched at first bite. Just an awesome sandwhich. So glad I found this hidden Houston gem. Now I have to work out an extra thirty minutes at the gym because this will be a once a week stop. Well done to this team. VERY IMPRESSED.

At the drive-thru, the interaction felt rushed and somewhat dismissive. There was no greeting at the window, and when I requested an extra honey mustard for my 5-count chicken tenders (since only one is typically provided), I was told there would be an additional charge. I didn't mind paying because I wanted enough sauce for my meal, but the tone felt a bit irritated. After placing my order, I pulled forward to wait. A different employee brought my food and was very pleasant and courteous, which I appreciated. However, when I checked my order, the extra sauce I paid for was not included. I had to go back through the line to address it. The original employee did provide the missing sauce at that point, and her demeanor was more positive during that interaction. The main issue came at the end of my meal, when I found a hair in the bottom of my fry basket. That completely ruined my experience. Overall, I've had better visits in the past, but based on this experience, I'm hesitant about returning.

The chicken is always crispy on the outside and super tender and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of flavor. How do they get the meat inside to be evenly spicy?! The peach mango pie is a must, honestly one of the best desserts they have. I could easily eat a bunch of those in one sitting. Their sweet spaghetti is also a hit with the kids, both in portion and flavor. The vibe is casual, bright, and family-friendly, nothing fancy, just a comfortable spot to enjoy a quick meal. The staff are consistently some of the friendliest around, which always makes the experience better. Only complaint is that irregardless of day or time, there seems to always be a long wait. Even if you order online to pick up at a specific time.

It took almost 10 minutes to finally get to the counter because after each person placed their order, the employee behind the counter said he'd come right back. I'm not sure if they were trying to catch up on other orders, or why it took so long to place an order. There were three screens displaying the menu. The most important one, displaying their Jolly Classics and the Pies & Sides, kept flipping between that and a promo ad. Slightly annoying, so I ended up taking a picture of the menu so that I could view it without the time pressure. Once I placed my order, I was given a pager. Even though I had a pager, they yelled out my number once my food was ready about 5 minutes later. It was fairly quiet inside - there were a few other people dining in, which appeared to be mostly contractors taking a lunch break. The Chickenjoy itself was very good. While not the best fried chicken in my book, Jollibee is certainly up there. We got one 10-piece bucket of original and one 10-piece bucket of spicy. Their spicy flavor actually packs some spice. The breading is very crispy and the chicken itself is always juicy on the inside. I always like to dip the chicken in the included gravy. The spaghetti is on the sweeter side, as I believe it's made with banana ketchup. The adobo rice was actually good and made a nice side accompaniment for our chicken. Jollibee is always a solid choice for fried chicken. While this location was a bit slow, other experiences I've had are usually fairly efficient.

I asked what they had, and he said burgers... which doesn't help me since I don't eat beef. I told him if they had chicken sandwiches, we could go. Not only did they have chicken sandwiches... they had SPICY chicken sandwiches. And whatever that sauce is? Delicious. This is one of those places where you can order at the kiosk or with the staff behind the counter... we went with the staff. Customer service from everyone was top tier. I loved how the whole team was engaged and actually providing real customer service. The vibe gives classic bar-and-grill energy, and the food? Really good. I didn't expect it to hit like that, but it did. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a Dr. Pepper... and yes, the Dr. Pepper was on point too. Overall, the experience was great. I told my friend if I ended up liking this place, I was going to resent him... Well... resentment felt. P.S. The bathrooms could've used a little attention. They weren't the cleanest, but that was my only issue.

I also really appreciate that everything is halal. The burgers themselves are definitely a great size and very satisfying, and the grilled onions take them to another level. I especially want to recognize Delmi, one of the workers I see often, she is so personable and truly stands out. She remembered my order from a previous visit and even asked how I enjoyed the spicy cheese fries when I came back. That level of attention made the experience feel genuine and personal, and for the record, those fries were incredible. The rewards program is another nice bonus. They actually keep track of your points, and the benefits seem really good for regular customers. I'm actually here again now, and Joshua was very pleasant as well. Looking forward to enjoying my order. Another thing I appreciate is the atmosphere. It's always clean, the seating is comfortable, and sometimes I even come during the quieter hours just to get a little work done while enjoying a meal. If I had one small note, I just wish the fry portions were a little bigger for the price, especially because they're so good.
