I went in to Francesca's tonight to find a dress for a wedding (last minute) and loved the experience from the minute I walked in the door. It was my first time there and I was greeted by one of the girls immediately and was assisted in finding something. They brought me a few dresses to try, checked on me a couple of times while trying on some dresses, and offered to help me find other items and other sizes. They were so helpful and so welcoming. I wish I knew their names to give them a shout out but I will definitely be going back! read more

I love love love this place. Every time I head to pay at the cashier there is an additional % off! Especially love the athletic wear stores , they have every brand. They also have a 5th off sacks which carry high end item low priced. Recommend coming on weekday because it's hard to find good parking but there is enough. They also have a Starbucks! Prices are awesome on black Friday and thanksgiving night. read more

I reside within 1 mile of this location and never can understand how it is always packed! I do enjoy the convenience if I need to grab an item or gift last minute so I can't complain there. Many businesses are popping up around the outlet so the traffic is enhanced more so on the weekends. read more

I wanted to take a break from studying one day and decided to go shopping (first time there) i have an exquisite taste so imagine my surprise when i got to bcbgmaxazaria and found a $265 skirt or so on sale for $30 i also got insane deals at their J crew store. I go to the outlets all the time and I love it. Go at the right time and it is perfect. Weekends are busy so try to avoid shopping on the weekends unless it is early when they first open or towards the evening maybe 5pm. With nice weather it is a pleasant place to shop. Tons of stores and nice discounts if you can find them. One complaint is the Francesca's store.. I had gone in the sign said "50% last chance sale" and on the hangers of the shirts said "Additional 30% off" the girl at the register said because they only promoting the 50% sale. I told them they should take off the ADDITIONAL 30% off sign down if you will not honor it and she said "Well we haven't had an issue". It is an issue if the tag says ADDITIONAL with no other small exclusion sign. Besides that store Houston premium outlets is a pleasant place to shop. read more

These are things that you would only hear in the news and never expect it to happen to you. Especially in Houston which is one of the most diverse cities in The United States. Today I visited with my family The Sunglass Hut Store in the Houston Premium Outlets (Store #5687). As I walked around the store, one of the employees (Brionna) kept following then she hysterically accused me of taking sunglasses that I never touch. There were only two other Caucasian individuals in the store and I was the only one who was approached with the accusation. Brionna harassed me and tried to call security. After I confronted her and asked her to check me, she went back to her station and found the missing glasses. I never been racially profiled or even accused of stealing in my life but this woman took her bias to a completely different level. As a Latino, I am proud of my heritage and I am offended with her prejudice but I feel more offended with The Sunglass Hut Store for hiring a person like her. I will never return to the store or the company. I will notify Corporate about this incident because it is not okay to accuse someone of a crime just because of the color of his or her skin. read more

I went today, 12-4-11. I had priced several items before I went by going to the regular retail store. When I went to the outlet stores, the prices were the same as the retail stores. Each time I mentioned to the sales staff that the price was the same as the retail store. No one did more than shrug. The stores I had priced merchandise were New Balance, Catherine's ,Crocs and Vans. read more

Came here to black friday shop and man were the employees rude and cranky. One employee kept yelling at my mom to step back to clear a path when lining up, but there was someone behind my mom so she couldn't even back up. It was as if this employee was blind or something! I honestly wish I got her name so I could talk to the store manager. To top it off, this isn't even the first time I've had issues with this particular location. I tried to return a corelle set I had bought at the outlets in San Marcos (I already checked ahead on the phone to see if we could return it) and got SO MUCH attitude from the person working the register, saying "they didn't even buy it here!" It was as if we were troubling her with a return. Honestly, they should just make the whole staff go through training again. If I ever desperately need to go into this store again, I will definitely get the names of the rude employees and file a complaint. read more

These outlets are not bad, but always super crowded. Avoid during mass shopping days! Parking could be very stressful. Overall, pretty much standard selection of brands/stores. The only advantage over Katy Mills is Armani store, but it's not that big. read more

So I hate shopping. Just thought I would start this review off by stating that. I also hate driving in Houston. And I REALLY HATE driving on 290. I dont quite get how people make that drive down that horrendous highway. So basically driving in Houston, up 290, to go shopping is like one of worst possible experiences one could wish upon me. But somehow somehow someway Houston Premium Outlets found a special place in my heart. And I'm not quite sure how that happen. I mean this place 145 stores and crowds galore. BTW did I mention that I also hate crowds. Yet Houston Premium Outlets found a special place in my heart. Houston Premium Outlets has all sort of name brand stores from Armani Exchange, Niken Kenneth Cole, Nautica, Under Amour , and Calvin Klein. While these stores are great brands they are frequently over-priced and out of my price range at most department stores. Yet Houston Premium Outlets found a special place in my heart. So why do I love Houston Premium Outlets despite hating where it located and hating everything it stand for? Well because of the discounts of of course!! I mean you can find deep discounts on nearly every item in all of those 145 stores. And we're not talking about merchandise that is out dated or in anyway damaged. There is nothing in this world like tons of discounts. Especially on items that you really really want. So although I publically hated everything about this trip to Houston Premium Outlets, I also secretly loved this experience but I will never ever tell a soul about it. ;) read more

The outlet of the whole nice place really cool I like it. But one particular store stuck out with me as kind of a blemish on the whole setup . That was the DIESEL OUTLET store,I went in wasn't really greeted or helped the store looked I guess what you would consider a typical outlet store to look like not as good as the regular stores kind of depressing . I wanted to apply for jobs so I ask for the manager. I usually ask for the manager I don't go straight for the application. And when she came out she was wearing what look like pajamas or sweatpants she didn't look like she was dressed in diesel apparel . So that was a bit of a turn off I didn't really want to work for a manager who didn't keep him or herself up to store standards. Also she looked tired or out of it maybe she was high her eyes were bloodshot and she smelled questionable (recreational weed) I have nothing against it I just don't want to see it or smell it in the workplace. So right then and there I just turned around and left and said I was mistaken . I can't work for somebody who's not professional even if it is an entry level job I don't want to work for somebody that I'm going to have to act better than. read more

I love the stores but the prices are still quite high for an "outlet" store. The products at the stores are great quality though.

Gymboree has great clothes for kids and an incredibly rude manager named Tangee. Brace yourself to be treated badly.

There are lots of places to shop in one place which is great. I don't really think its any less expensive than the stores in the mall though and the sidewalk vendors are truly obnoxious. I don't go unless I absolutley have to. read more

okay i love this place. we only live like 20 minutes away and when we're on our way to TJ Maxx I say "hey, lets go to the outlet mall." cons- it's hot during Houston summer, so that means do not wear jeans or a jacket! It's packed. MAKE SURE TO GO AT OFF HOURS BECAUSE THE COACH STORE IS ALWAYS JAM PACKED AND YOU CAN NEVER EVEN MOVE AROUND!. last time I went to the coach store I almost had a panic attack. pros-My favorite is the Juicy Couture store. There is some good deals. I can get charms for about $15 less than at other stores like Nordstroms and the Juicy store at the Galleria. It's still expensive though. They have a lot of designer stores, so go get that Coach bag or stop in Burberry. It's just fun to go here! read more

So I walk in to Kate Spade one day by myself just wearing a shirt and some nike shorts, just very casual and I was greeted by no one. No one talked to me, they just looked at me as if I were poor. My family is above middle class. I left because I just got stares which made me very uncomfortable. The next time I went in I was wearing very nice clothes and had my Kate Spade purse with me. I was greeted by everyone, asked several times if I needed help and someone helped me find what I wanted. My point is that it is very sad that I was judged based on what I was wearing both times. The women need to be trained to treat everyone with respect and pretend everyone who walks through those doors has a dollar sign above their head. I was very offended. If I need to dress "wealthy" in order to get a hello, then I probably won't be coming back. Love their merchandise though! read more

This place is a mad house stuck in the middle of nowhere, on the way to nowhere (not literally ofcourse), always packed like a zoo - and I don't even stop by on weekends! The horror! When I went there no one was buying...everyone was just, *sigh, IN THE WAY. The outlet is expensive, you guys, so if you're not willing to spend, DON'T GO. I was on a mission, aiming for Aldo, Guess, Eddie Bauer, Cole Haan and the CCO. In Aldo, I was looking for the safari sandal and there was only a $10 difference with the sale, from what the store site listed. That's not a sale! Then got to the Cosmetics Company Store and it was closed, in broad daylight with people inside - sign read "Sorry, we're restocking, come back thursday". Why not restock at the end of the day? It really seemed like it had potential because I did get something really nice from Eddie and Cole Haan, but for the sake of calling this an "outlet" I was better off being at an estate sale trying to snag a designer out of my shopping run. We'll see what the Christmas sales are like *crosses fingers. read more

t's alright. Prices are lower than usual retail, but not by much. If you are looking for good price, check Ross first (there is one down 290, 5 mins away). The choice is good, although some things are missing, like swimsuits. Prepare to be walking a lot, this will take at least half a day. Overall, there are some nice things there and the choice is decent, but not great read more

The outlet is a hit or miss. Sometimes the outlet prices are just as high as the regular store prices. I also don't like that Banana Republic have clothes made specifically for the outlet because the sizing can be way off. read more

staff In some stores was useless ('theory' store, three employees with an empty store and none of them greet us when we walk in nor attempt to help us..one even gave us the 'stink eye'....and the 'perry ellis' store had three high school employees dropping the 'f' bomb and using racial and gay slurs at the cashier counter, loud enough that I watched two families drop their merchandise and walk out shortly before I did the same...where are the managers here?..this was a Saturday afternoon ...though the other stores were very friendly and helpful. it is like any other outlet mall..but these two stores with horrible employees just made it a bad shopping trip. Very disappointed in the recent changes to the Coach outlet. Went there last week and didn't receive a coupon when I entered the store. After looking at the prices without a coupon, I realized this wasn't a good deal anymore. I looked forward to my twice yearly trips to these outlet stores but now it really isn't worth the trip because you will pay more for these items which are typically lower quality than the department stores. Save your money (and time and gas) and shop a good sale at the department store. read more

Great stores, great variety, and great prices! As others have posted, the food court leaves a little to be desired, but I usually stop in at Jitterbug, the local coffee house/cafe on Mason road, for some food or coffee. Great overall experience! read more

I recommend. Some prices as high as at the department store, but last time I visited that place I found couple of really expensive things for cheap. White house lack market dress for 25 (originally more than $100). Levise jeans, skirt, belt, shirt for $40. Michael cors bag for 250 (originally about 400). I am more than happy. My advice: check web sites and prices before you go there to understand if it is a deal or reep off. Put your sneakers on, no high hills. Very crowded on weekends, if you can go there on weekdays.
