We had a difficult situation involving a hydraulic line in our spider lift. It required more than…read morejust the right set of tools. It required a shop that actually understood the way the machine works, inside and out. I traveled out of state (We're in Idyllwild, CA), a total of about 20hrs dropping it off and picking it up. I would travel twice that for this level of service. They had fixed the leaks in my machine after only one full day in the shop, and had even engineered and installed new parts to keep that and other problems from ever happening again. It was a several thousand dollar less expensive ordeal than with any local shop, because these guys understand my equipment. They even told me that for for less involved repairs, they will fly a tech down to me to fix my machine right here at my shop. We had two Palm trees, both close to the side of the home with one already touching and damaging our roof. The third tree was a super tall eucalyptus tree planted right at the corner of a block fence wall that was shared with our neighbor, and its roots were the reason the fence walls work cracking and falling apart. Quan was so quick to respond and we were able to get an appointment the next day for him to look at our property while we were out of town and get an estimate for everything. We got quotes from three other companies, and Juan's quote was the most reasonable imo. We were going to be out of town on the day the work was going to be scheduled, but Juan kept in touch consistently and us making payment for the job being done was also handled very professionally. Throughout the day Juan was sending me texts and pictures of what was being done and what their next steps were going to be. I would definitely recommend him to anybody and we will be using him again for any projects that come up next!

Because their pricing was so competitive, I was actually able to negotiate a deal to remove three additional trees in my yard during the same visit. Within minutes of contacting Rock N Block, I had an appointment for a consultation. This impressed…read moreme because I contacted 5 different companies and only Rock N Block and one other one reached out to me in a timely manner. My backyard had never been done. It's been the same dirt lot since the house was built over a decade ago. We finally decided to get it done so our new dog could have a nice place to play, especially during the summers, where we can control the heat levels. JJ and associate came out quickly and made me feel really comfortable. There was no weird upselling (I wanted something really plain) and no fear mongering. I could tell immediately that we were going to go with Rock N Block so I cancelled my other appointment with a different company and put my deposit down right away. Within hours, JJ had the plans to me and I got the HOA paperwork started. Once that was done, I was scheduled immediately to have my yard worked on. The day of, the workers came, did a final measurement and got to work. It took 3 days but it came out exactly like I was promised and had envisioned myself. The workers were extremely friendly and self contained. They were responsible and trustworthy. They were also very concerned with my happiness. They asked me if things were looking good quite a few times. They literally made my yard perfect. I'm still looking for imperfections and cannot find them. If there were any complaints, the communication could be more but to be honest, they give information and don't feel the need to consistently remind you, which is also good. We did have a small hiccup where the workers didn't know they had to install a few other things but JJ made it right immediately and I can only be happy about that. I'd rather have the problem be solved immediately then get a phone call being told it would be done, although I can see how some people would want both. Pricing was fair in my opinion. I was told it should have been less expensive but I don't think so. The job is immaculate and the items are gorgeous with great quality. The craftsmanship means a lot to me and I would pay for it again. I wish I took some before pictures but I completely forgot to. Imagine a literal nothing of a yard. Now, it's gorgeous and I can't wait to accessorize!

First, I appreciate that Selvin was quick to respond and great with communication. He came out by the next day to give me a quote on servicing the property. Since the property hadn't been serviced in six weeks while we waited for our previous gardener to hopefully recover, he also had to perform a one-time cleanup given all the growth that happened and the debris that had accumulated. Fast forward another day, Selvin serviced the property, and it looks beautiful. They did such a great job with all the trimming and cleanup. Selvin will be coming back to perform regular maintenance, and I look forward to working with Selvin and his team.
