I took my car in to Howard's to get the dents and scratches fixed and I have to say, AWESOME JOB!!! to Destry and his crew. They did amazing work and my Baby Sahara looks pretty good now. The price was reasonable as well but customer service was top notch. I'd recommend Howard's to those who want excellent work done to their vehicles with reasonable price. I got my car back today from Howard's. It was a minor job and was in the shop for a while due to the PG&E PSPS shutoffs. I must admit I did get impatient that they had the vehicle for so long but you cannot do much without electricity. I blame PG&E for that. Well let me tell you........it was worth waiting for!! I got my truck back today. I had run into a 4x4 post and wrecked both driver's side doors and the back panel. Howard's Body Shop did an incredible job! No orange peel or bubbles, every joint is perfect, all gaps between doors and tailgate are perfectly consistent. They replaced both sides of the chrome top trim on my bed to be sure they matched. Destry noticed my passenger side back window didn't roll up (no fault of his, it was that way when I brought it in) so he took the control panel from HIS Dodge truck to see if that was the problem. It was, so he cleaned the contacts and the window works great now. This was far exceeded what the job required, but he said he liked to fix what he found during the course of the work he does. Destry is planning on buying the shop in a couple of months, so I highly recommend Howard's now and in the future. I'll be bringing in my three-horse stock trailer next for new diamond plate. read more

Gary and his crew did an amazing job. I had a damage on the body kit of my brand new car. To replace it was going to cost me a $700. They were able to fix it for considerably less and you can not even tell that there was ever any damage. They were affordable,fast, courteous and did outstanding work! read more

I had a fairly big accident the day after Christmas in Pioneer, my Toyota Sienna was broken down. We had to live in a motel in Pioneer. The second day, we started calling body shops to estimate damage, but the few of them in town seemed on vacation, never returned our call. Finally I found Howard's Body Shop on Yelp, there was only one review so I was not so sure. I still called, the owner Gary answered the phone and told me he got time to look at it on the same day. I was so relieved and had my car towed there, Gary took a few pictures of the car and got on his computer and did a quick estimate (because my friends were picking me up). The cost to fix seemed higher than the car's worth, I started wondering again. Gary offered me to leave the car in his shop for a few days until I made the decision. He also offered to help me get hold of a few dealers for parts. The next day when I called Gary, he already got an offer from one of the dealer. My wife and I called around the next few days in San Jose area, and we could not find a better offer! Our family were so exhausted from the car accident, the only good thing of the whole experience was Howard's Body Shop. Gary did not even charge me for his service. I may not drive there for my next car service because of the 100 miles distance, but I sure like to spread the word, so that someone who had a car accident around Sutter Creek/Jackson could have a peace of mind by calling them. read more

Howard's body shop is family owned which is a plus. I've come in twice with minor repairs needed and both times they've given me a deal because I'm a college student and can't afford much. Once I came in needing my fender trim put back on because one of my tires blew and tore it off. They could've easily charged me like $75 or more for the service because it took about an hour but instead they only charged me a box of donuts from the local bakery. Rally good people who do a good job. Very fair from what I can tell. read more

I have brought my car in to Howard's 3 times for various reasons and Gary has done everything he can to make the experience of being without my car easy and painless. he has arranged a rental to be there and waiting for me when I drop my car off and has even stayed late to accommodate my crazy schedule.
