I would rate this place 0 stars if I could!!! I came here with car problems a while ago and I'm already having car problems again!! I was overcharged for the most ridiculous things!! I took my car to another shop and they laughed at how much I was overcharged. My car was also here for almost 2 months without knowing anything about what's going on with the car. There was no updates nothing!! I even drove by multiple times to see my car waiting in the same spot for days. I spent so much money here and having the same problem I had before is outrageous!!! Several months ago, we took our 1980's model pickup in for work on the clutch. Hahn's estimate was about $1500, about all the truck is worth, but they offered to buy the truck from us. We declined and drove the truck to our trusted mechanic in Fair Oaks. He had it fixed in an afternoon, total bill was $135, and it's worked perfectly ever since. Hmmn. Yesterday I took my 1995 Toyota Tacoma pick up to Hahn's Automotive. The truck was over heating and the battery warning light had come on. Without any waiting, they immediately took my truck into the shop and began the repair. They did a free all points' inspection including breaks and then replaced all the belts, the thermostat, flushed the radiator and replaced it with fresh new coolant. The level of service and attention to detail was very impressive. I would recommend Hahn's Automotive to anyone needing auto service or repair. The Staff at Hahn,s are great. We recently brought our truck in for a minor service and check-up as we were going on a 3 week camping trip with our new trailer. Due to scheduling we could only get the truck in a few days before we planned to leave. During the service check it was discovered that the water pump was leaking. This would require some serious work. The day before we were to leave the truck is still not ready and they worked on the truck until 7 that evening to get it finished. We put 3700 miles on the truck after the work without any issues. read more

Not impressed one of their mechanics didn't know the difference between loose serpentine belt and bearing noise from a pulley. He tightened the belt and made the bearing noise worst. read more

The Hahn's had good reviews, but my experience with them was horrible. I had called them on a Tuesday to schedule bringing my truck into the shop. I dropped it off on Friday at noon and was told they would call me with an estimate. There was no call on Friday. I didn't receive a call on Monday either. I called them on Monday, but got their machine as it was after they had closed for the day. I called them Tuesday at around 10:00 am, and they told me they had not even looked at my truck yet as they had lost a mechanic, but would later in the day. By the end of the day I had still not heard from them and I called again. They still hadn't looked at my truck, but said they would the next day. I still had not heard from them by the end of the day on Wednesday, and when I called them they informed me they STILL had not looked at my truck. I asked for a manager and wanted to know how many cars were ahead of mine. They apologized and said they wouldn't actually get to my truck until until Monday. However, if that was too long they were willing to send my truck to a nearby gas station that had a mechanic. This is NOT the customer service of the supposedly best service facility in Amador county. Not one time did their facility call me. I had to call them every time, and whenever speaking with them I treated them with the utmost respect (I'm not one of those customers who acts like a jerk), even though by Wednesday afternoon I was very frustrated. So, beware their good reviews. It is absolutely inexcusable that they would have you drop your vehicle off and not be able to even look at it for over a week. read more
