I Scheduled an appointment on Tuesday and told the receptionist my engine wasn't charging my batteries when I drive for long periods. I also told the receptionist that the truck camper has solar and not sure if solar was a factor for the batteries not charging. I turned my truck camper in on Tuesday morning. On Wednesday morning, I called for a status update. The receptionist said the truck camper would not be looked at until Monday of the following week. This was unacceptable because I was leaving Wednesday around noon for my Thanksgiving plans. You guys worked an hour on something I didn't ask for. Specifically asked for a check on why my engine motor was not charging the batteries while driving. Ultimately, my boondocking Thanksgiving trip was a little bit more difficult to manage because of the lack of battery power to the truck camper Nice fancy bronco the owner drives. We own a 2022 Berkshire XL 37A, class A diesel pusher. On our last outing we had a leak coming through the AC intake in the bedroom. The only water source is the AC unit on the roof at the rear of the coach which happens to be above the bedroom. I immediately suspected a clogged drain line. Supporting that suspicion was the lack of condensation build-up coming out of the drain line (the front AC unit was draining just fine). Although this can be an easy DIY fix, I am a senior and still recovering from a terrible ladder accident/fall so going up on the roof was not an option for me. I called a mobile RV repair service and they quoted me a minimum of $600 for the repair. A person at the RV storage facility we use suggested I call American RV Service Center. I called last week and spoke to Morgan. She was very helpful but initially said her next opening was in August. I told her we are going on an outing July 22nd. She said she would see what she could do to get us in before then. After a few minutes she came back on the line and told me because it was presumably a simple fix she could get me in Friday the 19th. She advised me they charge $175 an hour and it shouldn't take more than 2 hours. Today (the 19th) they got our coach in. The tech found there was no clog, the line was clear. He did find that the drain hose connected to the pump did not have a clamp securing it. He put a clamp on it, confirmed that the pump was working and then tested the system. With the bedroom AC unit on for a while, the system began draining the condensation build up, operating normally. No leaking inside. Problem fixed. Morgan was great to work with throughout this process. They went above and beyond to get us taken care of knowing we have an outing planned. The temps will be in the triple digits where we're going and having both AC units working will be a life saver! Their service costs are fair and their customer service was excellent. Also, it's nice to call a business and have a live person answer. I highly recommend American RV Service Center!!! We brought our RV here for an insurance repair estimate. First they sent the estimate directly to our insurance without contacting us at all. We had to call and request a copy after we were notified by insurance that payment was being sent. Then when we decided not to use them, because of continued poor communication and excessive cost they charged us an estimate fee of almost $400. Would not recommend this company for repairs. read more

We have had our 2004 Winnebago journey worked on here on multiple occasions including having a new roof put on. The staff here have always been very professional and very helpful, especially Morgan. They stand behind their work which I have experienced personally after needing to take my rig back for some corrections. It is nice to find an RV repair shop with this much integrity. I scheduled an appointment to have the Norcold Refrigerator Recall installed on my 2001 Winnebago Journey. The appointment was two weeks out. When I arrived, the owner said he doesn't do Norcold Recalls. Their website says they are a "Norcold refrigerator authorized dealer", and the Norcold website says they are a "Norcold RECALL Service Center", but he didn't want to deal with it. We had a great experience at American RV. I'm a YouTube RV channel junky and I do various upgrades to my RV that others probably don't know about or do. I bought a MORRyde suspension kit and new shackle bolts from Amazon to replace the stock stuff with, adding about 3" of suspension travel to the 30 foot travel trailer. I also wanted a bearing repack, as I didn't really have a good idea of how long it had been. American RV did both - on time, on-estimate, and we left for a 9-day trip the day after I picked it up. The trailer used to bob & porpoise and bounce, no longer, smooth as glass. The MORRyde definitely improved the towing experience and Brian did a fantastic job installing. I was also pleased that they checked the brakes for me and let me know I had plenty of material remaining. There are other places in Rocklin and Sacramento, but if you drive by them, they either completely look like a war zone, or they are going to park your rig on the street until they get to it several days later - American RV has a lot behind the store that is secured at night and it's way off the beaten path to begin with. That's a big plus in my opinion. read more

I called American RV and asked them whether they could repair the air conditioner on my fifth wheel trailer. I was very specific as to the manufacturer and model of the a/c unit and was told that it would not be a problem and to bring in the trailer. After about a week, I received a call from American RV stating that their technician was not experienced enough to work on the a/c and to come and get the RV. The experience was a complete waste of my time and I cannot possibly recommend them as a reliable business. I gave one star as credit for their admission of a lack of expertise in RV air conditioner repair. I just wish they didn't waste so much of my time and diesel to find this out. read more

Had an rv in for repair. Lot not secured and parts were stollen. Had a minor follow up issue and wanted them to look at or fix the work they had done, but had a horrible attitude. Did not stand behind expensive work. Very difficult to deal with after they got paid. Do not recommend. read more

I had really great service from Morgan (front desk) and Brian (owner)! When our RV needed repairs at the peak RV season, I couldn't even get anyone to answer the phone or return phone calls at other RV repair shops. But I was amazed that Morgan picked up the first time I called, and then she continued to pick up the phone every time I called after that! Whenever I had a question she couldn't answer, she asked Brian right away and I got an answer almost immediately. And Brian was always wonderful to deal with as well! He worked quickly and efficiently with our insurance and got things finished much quicker than I expected! I would highly recommend them and I am telling all my friends about them as well! Went there today to pick up a 5th wheel for a customer that was having repairs done to it. When I got there I went into the office and some guy? was on the phone, saw me standing there and not even a, Hi I'll be right with you or even an acknowledgement that I was there like he couldn't be bothered. So after awhile I walked out and sat in my truck and waited for the owner of the 5th wheel to show up. I then noticed the guy that was on the phone come around in the office and saw me out in my truck and didn't care to come out and say, hey I'm sorry I was on the phone, nothing. I don't know what kind what kind of work they do but I do know that when I picked up the customers 5th wheel it was leaking water from underneath where it shouldn't be leaking. The customer did have water or water line problems which is the reason it went in for repairs. Anyway customer service when I was there piss poor. read more
