They are much smaller in scale than a Home Depot, but offer more personalized service, and a faster and easier solution for most related needs. For example, when I purchased a gas grill from them, it was assembled and delivered on the same day of my order. They delivered it to my deck, ready to go. I needed to match a ten-year-old outdoor trim paint for my deck and didn't know what color was used. Not only did they scan it for a perfect match, but they also provided a free paint sample can (see photo) so I could test it. They provide one free paint sample per month if you're in their customer loyalty program. You can't get everything here, but you can get most things, and find them faster and easier than the giant box store alternatives. It looks like they are only located in Massachusetts, with 11 locations. I will return.

Got calls from their sales rep offering new refrigerator model instead of receiving a written report as promised of the issues found. As a customer I felt that service is not their priority, rather it is to up-sell new appliances. Unit was repairable and albeit it was not inexpensive to do so, it did not require us to spend thousands on a new unit. As a result I consider Clarke to have provided poor service.

I had to buy a fridge for my garage ($800) to get us through. WHEN YOU SPEND THOUSANDS AT A HIGH END RETAILER YOU DESERVE HIGH END SERVICE. Clarke did not provide it. I will never buy from them again and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

I bought a shed from Skips several weeks ago (it's now early August, 2017). It took seven weeks to…read morehave it built (yes, they custom build their stuff!) so no matter how you look at it, they're either busy, or take time to do the job right...both very good qualities to look for. It was delivered a couple of weeks ago, and the delivery guys were great! They were able to drop it exactly where I had hoped they would. Only comment I'd make here is that the salesman claimed that it would be leveled (as long as my prepared site was within 6" of level), but the delivery guys didn't even check if it was level before leaving. No big deal if your site is well prepared, but something you may want to be sure to follow up with if your site isn't perfect and level is important. But what really impressed me was the quality of the workmanship. 3/4" flooring, support studs 12" on center, is pretty solid for parking a yard tractor in. And the walls were straight and plumb, with accurately spaced 16" centerline studs, useful for "standard" Home Depot or Lowes garage organizers. All full 2" x 4" lumber. And the paint job, windows, doors, etc were all flawless. I was so impressed with the quality of the job they did that I've ordered a Pavilion Gazebo to go along with the rest of my backyard remodel. I'd driven by the Sutton store hundreds of times on my way to/from work, and was always impressed with the samples in their yard. I'm happy I finally stopped in to closely inspect their offerings!! I would highly recommend Skips for your next project.

There was no way I could shovel all this fill 10 feet from were the overflow was. I knew it was a longshot but I went back to Larry 's. I started to explain my situation to Larry. He stopped me in mid sentence and said, I don't need the story, what do you need? I said I needed some of the fill moved 10 feet. He said I'll have my son go over with à plow. Just show him where you want it. In all my life I never thought I could have an outcome like that! Great customer service guys!!!

He seemed very hot tempered and angry. Lastly, an employee left his truck running for 30 minutes.. I went and told them that the truck had been running- they told me not to worry about it because they usually have it running/idling for 2-3 hours at a time. I told them it's bad for the environment and they should think about turning it off when no one is using it. There's a very nice and MUCH BETTER landscape supply place (Charlton Landscaping & Nursery) right down the road that you should definitely go to instead.
