My favorite coffee shop! I normally stick to a vanilla maple latte but Hayley has been perfecting her matcha latte, which is a new favorite!! This is a must stop coffee shop in Omaha!

A cool little place. Used to be a bar turned coffee shop. And as someone else mentioned- it is like "Cheers". Several people came and went and the barista and others were welcoming each other and calling each other by name and everyone knew it was one gals bday. The coffee was good and there were a couple pastries to choose from too.

The coffee is perfectly brewed and sooo smooth. Loved it. Beautiful building and atmosphere. Owner is so friendly and nice. Fast service.

It's a bar, not a coffee shop layout. Not quite what I had envisioned, but let's see how their coffee is for the hubby. Ordered an oat milk latte and a lemon ginger, Manuka honey tea. $10. The oat milk latte is good, it's flavorful, the beans are good. They use Sumatra beans. The 11AM military siren went off for an entire minute. Nice convenient hooks under the bar top. This place feels like a spot you go for actual coffee, not for the sugary ones. Service was warm, friendly?", quick and so chilled too. This place has a Cheers vibe to it and it's nice.

Love all of the drinks I've tried here. The coffee flavor is bold and roasted perfectly!

We loved the bar look in this coffee shop, very nice counter top and just looked cool. Service was great with only one person working she was whipping out coffees like no other. Coffee here is not your normal sugar stop coffee, flavor is very strong which suits my wife and I's taste for coffee. If you are looking for some real coffee Howlin' hounds is the place to be!

I wasn't familiar with this place at all, but Yelp suggested it to me. The reviews were so enthusiastic regarding the coffee and the friendliness of the owner. Remarkably so. Today, I was out on a walk and not really thinking about coffee, but since I happened to walk by I decided to try the door (there really isn't any indication outside that it is even open). It was open, the owner was attentive to the two customers that were in there. I can confirm that he really is as nice as all the reviews said! We chatted for a bit, and I learned that he eventually plans to close the business, of course. He doesn't have a timeline for it but said that one day, he just won't unlock the door. Well, I decided I better not wait to sample the coffee, since who knows if I will have another chance? So I got a cold brew, with cream. And I have to say that it really is a remarkably good cup of coffee. So, if you are in the area, check the door.

Visiting Omaha and stumbled on this spot because it was open earlier than most. Great mocha (not sweet but deep and rich), even better service. The guy pulling the shoes is clearly a local favorite. Great spot to stop for a cup of coffee and a little local flavor. Highly recommend it.

Great place to chat and relax. The owner is welcoming and we enjoyed our time here. Seating is limited as its front bar design. Quite nice concept. The coffee is good, different for my taste but I would return a second time to try something new

Apparently this place doesn't exist anymore. The city of Omaha bought the building. When he was there, Greg provided a good atmosphere.

I was pleasantly surprised that a waffle comes included with the skillets, and even more surprised that it's a house-made protein waffle. Such a nice touch! The coffee was just as impressive as the food. They have a huge variety of flavors and customization options. Their lattes are on the sweeter side, which I personally love, and the coffee itself is smooth. The cold foam is fantastic. I also appreciate that all drinks come in to-go cups. As a slow coffee drinker, I love being able to take my coffee with me when I'm ready to leave. The atmosphere is great as well, especially the patio. Our first visit was during a busier time, and while our server was incredibly friendly, the patio didn't get checked on very often beyond ordering and food delivery. When we came back a few days later and sat inside, the service was fantastic. Multiple staff members checked on us throughout our meal, and the experience felt much more attentive. It may have just been a difference between the patio and indoor seating or the level of busyness. Overall, we were impressed enough to come back within three days, which says a lot. Great food, great coffee, great atmosphere. Highly, highly recommend!

The coffee was delicious, but the vanilla lavender tea was not as good, but still Tea, my guest felt it should have been steeped longer. The egg hash with 2 waffles was great, the waffles were exceptionally good. It's a great choice if you find yourself here. One thing to be prepared for tall people... the seat and table height are not great. You'll be crouching down to get food in your mouth before it falls off of your fork. The tables are low, and the seats are too high. As a shorter person I had to crouch and slouch over my food to get it into my mouth. This, sadly would be the one reason I'd not return. Also, This is a different type of restaurant, they're a church restaurant. Odd, but interesting. Either way, great waffles, cool staff!

The branding and overall vibe feel intentional, and I genuinely appreciate their mission and what they're trying to build in Omaha. That part really stands out. It tasted more like a standard latte than something seasonal or layered. Not bad by any means -- just not memorable. The baristas were having a conversation that would be deemed inappropriate by many, especially since the young man had a few colorful things to say that got some good laughs from his coworkers; luckily, I don't mind hearing the gossip while I wait for my beverage. Fairly quick service considering how busy they were. I recommend stopping by if there is a free space open.
