WOW! We went twice in three days because it was that good. The food is fresh, delicious, and packed with healthy options. The value is great too. I was pleasantly surprised that a waffle comes included with the skillets, and even more surprised that it's a house-made protein waffle. Such a nice touch! The coffee was just as impressive as the food. They have a huge variety of flavors and customization options. Their lattes are on the sweeter side, which I personally love, and the coffee itself is smooth. The cold foam is fantastic. I also appreciate that all drinks come in to-go cups. As a slow coffee drinker, I love being able to take my coffee with me when I'm ready to leave. The atmosphere is great as well, especially the patio. Our first visit was during a busier time, and while our server was incredibly friendly, the patio didn't get checked on very often beyond ordering and food delivery. When we came back a few days later and sat inside, the service was fantastic. Multiple staff members checked on us throughout our meal, and the experience felt much more attentive. It may have just been a difference between the patio and indoor seating or the level of busyness. Overall, we were impressed enough to come back within three days, which says a lot. Over all the experience here WAS a welcome one, the staff was great, checked on my party of 3 often, and was prompt with the food! The coffee was delicious, but the vanilla lavender tea was not as good, but still Tea, my guest felt it should have been steeped longer. The egg hash with 2 waffles was great, the waffles were exceptionally good. It's a great choice if you find yourself here. One thing to be prepared for tall people... the seat and table height are not great. You'll be crouching down to get food in your mouth before it falls off of your fork. The tables are low, and the seats are too high. As a shorter person I had to crouch and slouch over my food to get it into my mouth. This, sadly would be the one reason I'd not return. After researching breakfast spots near our hotel in Omaha we decided to check out the Table. It's conveniently located in the historic district, near plenty of hotels so I'm sure they see a good amount of regional tourists as they stop in for breakfast on their way to check out the zoo (which is exactly what we did!). We arrived around 8:30 on a Friday, there was no wait, and we were promptly seated. The folks working here are super nice and despite being short staffed I wouldn't have known had they not told us as the server did such a fantastic job. I ordered an irish cream cold brew and it was honestly delicious - I'd for sure come back just for that. I don't know about the rest of the coffee menu but I can report that the cold foam/cold brew drinks on on point. For my meal I landed on a waffle breakfast sandwich, mostly because they talk a lot about their waffles at this place and the photos on Yelp of the waffle sandwiches intrigued me. Overall when it came out it was a bit underwhelming - the waffles were not as crisp as I had imagined and for some reason in my head they would have offered more sweetness to the sandwich? Maybe I should have ordered some syrup to go with? Overall it was a good breakfast sandwich, just not what I had worked up in my mind to be something incredible. We came in on a Sunday after church, and like most places on Omaha it was busy. Exceptionally busy compared to a weekday morning. We were told there would be a wait, however, we weren't told how long. 30 mins in, we were told 30 more minutes. Had we had that knowledge a head of time we may gone somewhere else. When we were finally seated, we did get good service. I got the loaded waffle board to split 3 ways with my kids. The menu says feed 4-6 people however I would say 3 tops. I got the caramel apple latte hot it was so warm on a chilly morning I love that they give you the choice for milk( I got oat). We were looking for a late breakfast before hitting the road back to KC. We couldn't have picked a better place. The brick walls and marble bar made us feel cozy. The service was great and everyone worked together to make sure our needs were met, especially Devon, KJ, and Zach. I had the meat lovers skillet. I used YELP to find this place and I'm sure glad I did! To start, I can into a warm greeting. I told my host that I needed a place to drink coffee and take a conference call. She accommodated with a private space that was peaceful and warm. Then, I looked at the menu! Yes coffee..but let's do breakfast. I had the farmers skillet and wow it truly delivered. I found this place to have a bit of a weird vibe somehow. I ordered an Americano to go one morning with extra steamed half and half. I found it it to be a bit weak and not very much steamed half and half. Staff was friendly enough but still seemed a bit off. The next day I thought I would try a sit down breakfast. I was wanting something light and noticed on the menu there was no option to pick items al a carte. So I just ordered the Cuban bowl. It was pretty good but more than I could eat. I wanted to sit and finish my coffee but had to use the restroom quick and when I came back they had seated someone at my table! They apologized and I asked if they could just fix me a coffee to go which they did. I said I hadn't paid yet and they looked it up and said "oh I see you didn't" and charged me for the meal. I would have thought under the circumstances they would have just said "don't worry about it" but they did worry about it . I had the meat skillet, which had hardly any eggs and was rather bland. The side of waffles was really good, but the syrup was cold My friend had a basic breakfast of eggs, sausage, and toast. It was fine. -- But it was delivered while she was still trying to figure out how to pay the parking. It was only 1$ and neither of us could get the app (no coin deposit) to let us input any cards. The staff was aware and ultimately took her outside to help her, but by then her breakfast was half cold. The staff is aware of the silliness of the parking in an area of high out-of-towner traffic. Perhaps they could institute a pre-validation type system by using their app to cover the $1 parking or their customers. This would alleviate the inconvenience and would be a really nice touch of hospitality. Even if they tacked it onto the bill, it would be better than dealing with that mess. I'm always willing to give new restaurants a chance. The Table Coffee is barely four (4) months old and formally was a food truck. There is a little gift shop as you enter the restaurant where you can browse while you wait to place your order. The concept is order when you come in sit down and your food is brought to you. You must pick up drinks at the counter. If you forget to order something, you have to get back in line. Also, the expectation is you tip before you've received any service which makes things rather awkward even though we watch three people stand behind the counter by the coffee maker and chat for quite a period of time while tables went unbussed. It has an absolutely beautiful, state of the art coffee maker, but getting coffee served with the spoon seems to be a bit of a challenge. There is no sweetener or creamer on any of the tables so that's another thing you have to go and try and track down and when we did, we were presented with the entire milk container! The space is the former Stokes in the old market. So, there is plenty of space with nice options for indoor, outdoor, and counter seating. There were two of us at the table; our meals were brought about four minutes apart - Not a big deal, but actually my sandwich was cold when it arrived. I was a little surprised that my sandwich was nine dollars for what I got and did not include any sides. Table Coffee definitely needs to get its sea legs and quickly. Might stop back in for a coffee, but only if I bring my own spoon - LOL read more

ALL the stars!! And oh my stars was it good! We were in Omaha for three nights. Not one, but two mornings we gathered at The Table for their loaded waffle board. Family of four and we left with full bellies and satisfied palates. I have celiac and did not have a reaction to the gluten free waffles, toppings, sausage or eggs. The toasted coconut coffee was top notch too! The double chocolate waffle tastes like a warm brownie and has zero after taste or texture of being gluten free!! (Dangerously good) The entire staff was warm, welcoming and served with kindness. That alone makes us want to return to a business. Don't forget to take a stroll in their cute gift shop. My husband had the egg sandwich which he was extremely happy with. Our coffees were amazing. We had the lavender vanilla lattes and I will definitely get that again! The cafe was very spacious and bright. The decor was pleasing to the eye and the various types of seating were both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. This is a cute and charming restaurant/coffee shop, with a full menu of drinks and food. After you walk in there's a gift shop to the right featuring Omaha, Nebraska souvenirs, dishware, and other odd and end gifts. I was more impressed with the drinks than the food: I ordered the protein waffles with sausage, butter, and maple syrup, as well as the brown sugar chai latte. The chai latte was incredibly delicious, though definitely on the sweeter side. I'd honestly consider it a dessert. On the other hand, the waffles were a bit underwhelming. The maple syrup came in a little sauce cup on the side and the butter was already spread on the waffles. Perhaps it was due to them being protein waffles, but the flavor was bland and the maple syrup/butter didn't help. I will say that the sausage was fairly good though and I would probably order that as a side again. Our server was nice and we were able to get our drinks and food in a timely manner. When paying the bill, they bring you the check and you go back to the front hostess stand to pay. It's a neat concept that gives you time to pay whenever you're ready; however we discovered that it is a bit flawed. The line to pay is the same line that other incoming customers are in, so by the time we were ready to check out, there was a long line of new customers that we had to wait behind. Overall it was a cute local place to stop in, especially for coffee and drinks.
