I bought a 2015 Nissan Frontier SV from what I believe to reputable dealership. Most will tell you to be weary of dealerships on Alameda, but it stands for anyone selling used vehicles. Evidently, the dealership took the vehicle in and prepped for resale without doing anything or not cost effective to them. This is dealing with only the service department. I have been going here for years to get my car serviced, John the service manager is always friendly and accommodating. This is the only dealership I reguraly use as I always felt ripped off at any other dealership over my lifetime. Prices are fair and they do what you ask. Normally they give me a new loaner or if it is just an oil change they will shuttle me to my work. read more

I purchased a new vehicle last month with an pre -approval from VW. The sales manager mistakenly combined my information into someone else's account with VW. Fox auto did thus repeatedly ( had to return to sign new contracts 3 separate times ) yet in the end I am stuck fixing this issue directly with VW credit. Also, they have not provided the correct plates for my vehicle at this time. They received incorrect plates from the DMV due errors they committed when they submitted the documentation to the state. To make matters worse, they constantly lie and make up excuses about it thus delaying the plates even more. It seems that once they sell a vehicle they don't care about fixing their mistakes... beware and I don't suggest buying a vehicle here. All pertinent state authorities are being informed about their unethical business practices. read more

We made an appointment online for an oil change and received a email reminder. When we arrived we were told "we do not do appointments" and that it would be about 2 1/2 hour wait. We said okay we will go to the other VW dealership. They hurried out to stop us from leaving and said they can fit our vehicle in for our "simple" oil change. We said okay if you don't think it will be 2 1/2 hours to get it done. We sat in the waiting room for the 2 1/2 hours and watched customers come in after us and leave before us and yes they said they were getting an oil change. Our service advisor was very nice and kept coming out to let us know the progress. Bottom line- this Volkswagen service place does not monitor or accept the appointments you make for oil changes online and Saturday mornings are busy. They do have free bottled water, cookies and coffee. read more

Drove down from Las Cruces for what we thought would be Mercedes Benz-level service-what a huge disappointment. When we drove up to the service window/door there were two employees standing there chatting, ignoring us. No one came out to greet us-I had to go inside to find our advisor. When we met he did not greet me, welcome me, or even say good morning-just pulled out his IPAD and started typing. We left the car overnight for an oil change and a recommended brake line flush and fill-when we returned to pick it up at 3 pm the following day the cashier went to see the advisor (he did not come out to see us) said it wasn't ready and would be another 30 minutes. Well, I looked outside and my freshly washed car was sitting in the parking lot waiting to be driven away. Went to see advisor-no greeting, oh yes, just doing your paperwork....did not even review the work that was done. This was one of the absolute worst dealer service visits we've ever experienced. It's Dec 23. My Tpms and asr light came on and I'm passing through el Paso as I was driving from las Vegas to corpus Christie. Called hoyfox and was lucky enough to get an appointment for 7:30 on the 24th. I advised hoyfox that I was leaving the following day to continue my road trip and although I was told there were no loaner car's they brought my car right in the shop and got it diagnosed and repaired very quickly. Turned out to be a software update, nice! Had Brian working on my car and was impressed at the efficiency and quality of work that was displayed. Workers were polite, curtious, and very friendly. I was very impressed as I know working on holidays can be a drag but these workers made the best of it and made another customer out of me. I will def be recommending hoyfox. The worst place ever! Service department never called back, I LEFT LIKE 5 MESSAGES! The advisEr had to nerve to pull out his cell phone and laugh about some text message in the middle of a conversation!! had one part fixed by them and broke another!! They took my car in for a repair that would normally take 3 hours max and kept it for 2 days!! TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR 3 OIL CHANGES!!! I had to advise the "adviser" of his mistake!!! Horrible device department! I scheduled to have a component installed a week in advance, took off work and dropped off my car, no loaner as this was scheduled to take half a day. Then after 2 hours I received a call stating the Volvo technician was to busy to do the scheduled installation. I asked when I could reschedule and was told they were booked all week. I thought I had a scheduled a scheduled appt. The service representative was overall pretty rude and unaccomidating. I never experienced bad service, or unprofessional behavior at Corleys in Albuquerque, it may be worth the drive for true customer satisfaction. I doubt I'll ever purchase or recommend this dealer based on the current service and customer care provided. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!!! I was never going to buy another Mercedes again if it meant I had to go back. They have a shotgun approach to fixing things and fix things part by part until they figure it out. Their service technicians are terrible! Thank goodness I found GPS Automotive and I never have to go back again!!! For one of the repairs they had my car for almost 3 months! I was having issues with my Jetta TDI with 39,000 miles. I made an appointment for diagnostic this morning. When we purchased the vehicle in 2012 (at another Volkswagon) we were aware there is a 36,000 mile basic warranty and a 60,000 mile power terrain warranty. When my husband arrived, he was greeted by a service manager named Mike. Mike told my husband that our warranty ended at 36,000 miles and he had never heard of a 60,000 mile power terrain warranty on the Jetta TDI. My husband left without service. When he came home to explain the situation to me, I called Hoy Fox to talk to Mike to inform him he was wrong and that it even states the warranty on VW's website. Mike began to argue with me that unless we had proof of the 60,000 mile warranty, he couldn't help us. I asked to speak with his supervisor (who of course wasn't available). Mike then decides to place me on hold. When he comes back, he informs me that he was indeed wrong, that there is a 60,000 mile warranty on our car and insincerely apologized. Not only was he wrong, but he argued with us and wasted our time. I am no longer sure that the service department is even competent enough to work on my car anymore. After the call, I called Rudolph VW and they were and more than happy to service our car. I will never go to Hoy Fox for service again which sucks for them since we are a month away from our 40,000 mile, $695 maintenance service. read more
