Ube gooey butter cake and ube pandesal

Awesome little place, the owner has a heart, and it shows through the amazing service, care, and gooey cakes . From now on when ever I see that open light on, I'm going to have to stop in for a fix.

Lumpia! I think they make it when ordered, because you can tell it hasn't been sitting under a heat lamp. They are hot and crispy.

I will definitely be going back because there are more things I want to try like the raspberry gooey butter cookies and the pandesal.

Although I lived in Red Mill for over a decade, I was never able to visit the original location in that shopping center, so this was a first for us. We came in on a Friday night and easily parked in the attached garage (QR code ease for parking). Wow started with the chicken empanadas and boy, were they yummy. Soooo hot and fresh, you could tell they were made to order (it took a minute to get them). So worth the wait! We devoured them and the breading was heavenly. I chose the Chicken Pancit Bihon (rice noodles) for my entree and my husband went with the Sizzling Sisig (minced pork and onion). Both were hot and fresh but my husband's dish was to DIE for! Sooooo good, I am for sure going to order it next time. The seasoning was perfect, hot and delicious. Yum! We had plans to take our daughter out for dessert for her birthday or I would've absolutely been trying one of those Ube shakes... noms! Next time! Owners were walking around offering tasting of items and were checking in often to make sure all was going smoothly. He gave us a sample of the Calmansi Slushee and it was heaven! Soooo refreshing on a summer day, I can see stopping in during a bike ride to cool off with one of those babies. Beautiful patio outside with tons of covered seats and a pick-up window for easy pick-up right in front was nice. Love this location in Atlantic Park and what it brings to the oceanfront area... excited this new spot is here!

I love how well they treated Mak Mariano, and his friends, and also those that came to see and hang out with him. The staff were very kind to allow us all to hang out and take pictures. The food- My hubby ate while I enjoyed hanging out, listening to, and watching Mak tell stories and interact with everyone. Hubby enjoyed the food as always. This was our 2nd time or 3rd time coming here, and even though I can't remember what we had, I know for sure we enjoyed the food. This time around my hubby had Kare-kare and really liked it! We also bought a big container of sisig to go, which we had for dinner and we absolutely love it!!! I'd say Fiesta Kainan is our new fave go to for quick Filipino meals.

I tried out the caldereta and the mechado (?). I liked both items but I found it too oily for my liking. The vegetables were stewed perfectly and the meat texture were nice and tender. I think had I visited earlier in the day, it may have had a less oily texture to it. The accompanying soup was super sour but acted as a perfect palate cleanser after the oily meals. The service was excellent-- friendly, patient, and helpful. You can pick and choose different entrees over rice or pancit. Similar to getting food from Panda Express. The inside of the restaurant has several family friendly seatings available and baked goods and market also. Lastly, parking is free and plentiful right across from the front entrance. If an out of area Filipino asked for a good place to eat, I wouldn't hesitate recommending them. I certainly wouldn't mind revisiting again in the future.

My personal favorite is the pizza bread. The bread itself is excellent--soft, fresh, and flavorful. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a little more filling. Glory's Bakery has the amount of filling that I prefer, but I think Angie's has the better bread overall. The selection is extensive, and it's nice to have a local bakery where you can find so many Filipino favorites in one place. Everything we've purchased has been fresh, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Both bakeries have their strengths, and we enjoy visiting each of them for different reasons. The quality of the bread keeps us coming back, and it's one of those places that's hard to leave without buying more than you planned.

If you are need of a comfort meal this is the place. The portions are large for a good price and I can stretch it for more than one meal. They didn't have a menu posted, so I was given one when I asked. The food is cafeteria style where your plate is made in front of you. They had several options like fish, pork belly, menudo, lumpia, pancit, rice, sisig, and etc. They also had desserts, chips, turon, and drinks. I chose menudo, pancit, pork belly, and lumpia with a side of sauce for about $15. The prices seemed pretty reasonable. The portions were decent also. The menudo was flavorful and filling the meat was tender but there were a few pieces with fat. The pancit was tasty. It wasn't heavy on vegetables, I wish there were more. The pork belly was crispy and I liked it, but a few pieces were over cooked and had an awkward burnt old flavor. I can't really explain it. But the taste caught me off guard. I enjoyed the lumpia. They had beef inside and went good with the sauce. Their sweet chili sauce is yellow, not like most that are orangeish red. But it was good. The staff was busy. They didn't really talk much, but were nice. They also have a banquet room for private events. I do like their Filipino food more than some other places in the area. Definitely check them out!!

I will be very honest it was like 6pm when we got there there wasn't much food left and they were cleaning the empty trays in the same area where the food was being served , that to me was a bit disappointing and unhygienic. But I put that thought aside and decided to try it anyway. I ordered pancit , adobo chicken and adobo pork, the pancit was tasty but kind of dry , chicken was pretty good but too much vinegar taste , the pork was amazing but very heavy vinegar taste overall I give it an 8/10. My grandson had Pancit , adobo pork and teriyaki chicken he agreed with my same experience but tasty as well. We did order some lumpia we love lumpia that was a 8/10. I also ordered rice milk that I took home with me and had it later on and I must say it was amazing. I also want to say to the young man that took our order it was his 3rd day working there you did amazing keep on doing what you are doing. The guy that served us the lumpia with the curly hair what a sweetheart. My train of thought is as such we will be back but earlier in the day when the food is fresh and just put out there so we can definitely have a better experience. The flavors and seasoning were definitely there. Over all 9/10 we will be back

Sad to say that out of all the food we got, the only thing that made me happy was the small slice of sapin-sapin. I don't know what it is, it seems it's always a hit or miss now when it comes to Felynn's. This used to be the best place to go to, good service, always great food, good portions. These days I have 2nd thoughts on going because I'm afraid I'll end up wasting money on food we end up not enjoying. Bring back the good old days when people weren't being rushed to order, and food tasted like it wasn't rushed to make, the kind that your Lola or Nanay would cook and serve to their loved ones. Because back then this place wasn't just another place to eat. It was like going to a family's house or a friend's house where you feel welcomed. And when you eat, the food brings happiness and comfort because it reminds you of your Lola or Nanay's cooking, it reminds you of home.
