A nice Italian place for our traditional Italian family
Jennifer K.

Absolutely love this place. If you are looking for authentic Italian baked goods, this is the place. Real cannolis freshly filled. Amazing tiramisu. The lobster tails were perfect. We went there looking for black-and-white cookies for my mom which they had. They had large traditional ones and they also had minis. She got both. I got a box of Italian cookies. They were amazing. We all sat down, a group of eight of us. To eat our pastries and some coffee. And then we took piles of cookies with us. The surface was good staff was friendly. Can't wait to go back. I live an hour away so I can't go that often but it's definitely worth the drive.

This hidden bakery in a strip mall was a true delight to stumble upon. I have been trying to find a really good Italian bakery and restaurant around this area and I think I finally can say I have. With a little store to buy wines and homemade pastas as well as baked goods from cookies to cakes and traditional Italian desserts. This restaurant and bakery is definitely one to go check out! Parking is very easy because it's in a strip mall so there's lots of space to park. Once you go inside, you're welcome walk around to buy desserts or wines or if you'd like to have a proper sit down meal. They even do lunch and dinner and you can stay and eat inside. I definitely will be coming back for sweet treats and good food!

All different flavors of biscotti (there are plenty more)

This rating is for their baked goods. I will have to come back for their entrees. What makes this bakery so special? They have a variety of cakes, biscotti's, Italian and Non-Italian cookies, macarons. I LOVE that they have about 25 biscotti flavors, 20 Italian cookie varieties and about 20 cake flavors. I took home: almond horn, cookies and cream, tiramisu roll and strawberry eclairs. Even the strawberry eclair is unique. Baked in-house you'd expect them to be fresh. I also got 7 different biscotti flavors. You've got to try Rigoletto's!

I already knew this was my destination as I had been following them since they opened in VB. Upon our arrival we found the Cafe about a 1/4th of the way full so I had hopes for breakfast in a quiet setting. Even though there was a steady flow of traffic, we were able to dine in a relaxed setting without feeling rushed. I mention this because with it being a holiday weekend full of Jeepers, I fully expected them to be packed. The wait to order was too long as it left me staring at the pastry window so long I almost ordered one of everything however; I refrained from doing so but still bought 4 pastries, French toast & seasoned potatoes. Yes yes, alot of food for 1 person but I still had 2 days left in my visit and well, I have a thing for pastries. The pastries were: mango & passion fruit eclair, a pineapple muffin, lemon raspberry cake & profiteroles. I loved everything with the exception of the eclair. It wasn't anything against the eclair, it's just the mango/passionfruit mixture was just too passionate for my tastes. The muffin reminded me of my own homemade upside pineapple cake without all the brown sugar. It was light and buttery. The Lemon raspberry slice was delightful & not the least bit tart or too sweet. A mixture of both flavors without either one overpowering the other. The cake was super moist, perfect. The profiteroles were my favorite. They reminded me of that feeling I had the 1st time I tasted them while living in Italy. The choux perfectly baked and so delightfully light. The French toast was good enough without the side of syrup. The star for me of the breakfast items were the potatoes. I LOVED them. They were served HOT, seasoned just right with their insides softer that a baby bottom. I coulda just ordered 2 servings of those & bypassed the toast. All in all, well worth the wait. The folks were friendly, the Cafe clean and the seating plentiful and comfortable. I would recommend this place for both pastries & French toast & spuds.

Everything looked lovely, it was hard to decide on what to get. She had also just made some fresh pastries. I decided on some ube pendesal, and as I'm a sucker for tiramisu I also asked for that. She offered the fresh pendesal as well, which I couldn't say no to, so I got that as well. She was overall very nice. I saw the empanadas in the corner, and I know I'm already gonna have to come back to try more. She told me how to keep the pendesal fresh, and I thanked her and went to my car to try the breads. The fresh pandesal was amazing. Fluffy, light, warm, soft, a little sweet, just so good. The ube one was a little heavier, and had a halaya and cream cheese filling, which I just loved. It would've been better warm, but I was hungry and wanted to try things. I waited til I got home to try to tiramisu, and oh my god that is some of the best tiramisu I've had in the area. I tried one at the farmers market by an Italian lady, and I think this one is better. It has good ratios of everything. It's not drowning in coffee, the cream is nice and sweet, and it isn't too mushy. This will now be my go-to spot for tiramisu for sure. I can't wait to come back and try more!

My personal favorite is the pizza bread. The bread itself is excellent--soft, fresh, and flavorful. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a little more filling. Glory's Bakery has the amount of filling that I prefer, but I think Angie's has the better bread overall. The selection is extensive, and it's nice to have a local bakery where you can find so many Filipino favorites in one place. Everything we've purchased has been fresh, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Both bakeries have their strengths, and we enjoy visiting each of them for different reasons. The quality of the bread keeps us coming back, and it's one of those places that's hard to leave without buying more than you planned.
