I had to remind him to clean the area again before he stuck me. ALSO! The tourniquet was on my arm for like 4 minutes!!! And then finally he stuck me and still left the tourniquet on. Once blood was flowing, I had to remind him to take the tourniquet off! I knew I was going to bruise really bad. It's amazing how many phlebotomist's do their job wrong. You have to be on point with everything. No mistakes! I feel bad for the people who get their blood drawn with no knowledge of what a phlebotomist should and should not do. This is an important position! Never coming here again. He was also so quiet. Barely said a word. You are working with people. You are taking their blood. No empathy.

There's an access ramp, though it's a little uneven, and the walk looks sketchy due to trash cans and heat pumps outside the building. The small, cramped space is probably as nice as you'd expect. Almost two weeks later I am in my doctor's office and the results are not there even though I called TopLab several times in advance to make sure they were providing the results to my doctor immediately to no avail. In my doctor's office, his nurse had to request them and then TopLab faxed pages where some of the results were not legible. My doctor called them and asked for an important specific result and they wouldn't give the doctor the information he requested over the phone. The dispensary is not very clean and the person taking blood laid the empty vials on a hand/arm of the chair which is touched by every person coming in and not a hygienic surface. When I mentioned it, the nurse said it is ok, it didn't fall on the floor. Find another lab for your bloodwork.....

The office location is convenient, although challenging with the many 1 way streets in the area. I recommend checking the map of the surrounding streets to see where you actually need to turn to be able to get into the parking lot. Upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly individual at the front desk. Within minutes, we were seen by Dr Menon. After some very in depth questions about why we were there, she was able to quickly assess what may be happening and offered a shot to help with the pain. She was quite attentive to my spouse and listened to everything he said. Before any shot was provided, she made sure we were made aware of what to expect cost wise so - no surprises.
