My son was referred to Chino Valley Oral Surgery by his orthodontist for impacted wisdom teeth removal. He was able to make an appointment for a consultation followed by the surgery to be done on the same day. One thing that I found odd was that he never got a reminder call or confirmation regarding his appointment, so I had him call the day prior to he sure he was scheduled. On the day of the appointment (consult and surgery) Dr. Lee was thorough and informative during the consultation, and gave us the opportunity to ask questions we might have. We then met with the office manager Leticia, was very understanding, knowledgeable and helpful in sorting out our insurance and billing. Then my son went into surgery, which was very fast. Post procedure, Dr. Lee met with us and said it went smoothly. My main issue is with the back office staff/dental assistants...they obviously did not communicate with each other and both were rushing to get us out. My son was still very sedated from the surgery and could barely keep his eyes open. One staff gave me VERBAL post op instructions and a small baggie with 4 pieces of gauze, saying it would be enough (which it wasn't, as my son had quite a bit of bleeding afterwards) and that she would change the gauze in his mouth before we go (didn't happen because another staff member walked us out to the car). In my past personal experience with wisdom teeth extractions, and knowing that food particles can get stuck in the gum pocket, I asked about flushing the extraction sites with a syringe and was simply told NO. Then a second staff member approached us and said "see you next week" assuming we already had an appointment, but in fact did not. She rolled her eyes & quickly returned with an appointment card, did not give me an opportunity or ask what day or time would work for us. She then proceeded to direct & walk us to the exit & to our car, and it happened so fast that I didn't even get a chance to ask about the gauze change. For quite some time, we were worried about dry socket, as my son complained of pain, still had some bleeding, and had difficulty eating solid food for several days after the procedure. However, at the follow up appointment, one week later, we were told everything was healing and there was no infection; and my son was given a syringe for flushing the extraction sites.

The consultation itself wasn't too long and Dr. Auyong explained what my options were if I wanted to be awake or have anesthesia. I liked how they weren't pushy and allowed me to decide what I wanted to do. I decided I would be awake just because my insurance didn't have anesthesia coverage. But honestly the procedure itself was painless. He was very gentle and would check in to make sure I was doing okay. My recovery took about 1 week which I know is the usual standard. I didn't swell up as much as I thought. I would recommend Dr. Auyong and his team to anyone looking for an honest and caring oral surgeon. I'm already going to refer my parents here since Dr. Auyong also does implants. There's free parking and since it's covid they are taking all the necessary precautions to make sure not just the patients but the staff is safe.

I went to Dr Han to replace my two crowns that I had for about ten years. He was upfront about…read morecosts and I felt he was trustworthy and transparent from the first visit. The treatment plan included figuring out the original implants that had been placed, color matching, one veneer to fix a gap from previous dental treatment, and bonding. The whole process took about 2-months from start to finish, as I needed to have time between appointments for Dr to order the crowns, re-order new crowns for better color matching, then he wanted me to have time to live life a couple weeks to make sure I was happy with the temporary crowns before making them permanent. I enjoyed going to each appointment. Ulga was kind and friendly. The office was clean and had little details that I found to be calming, including candles and aesthetically pleasing decorations. I got to listen to headphones while Dr worked on my teeth. He fixed a cavity that was found during my last appointment. The best part about my experience with the treatment I received was the relatable and friendly interactions I had with Dr Han. He is great at what he does, and also great with people. My friends & coworkers can all attest to my long diatribes when someone mentions having a wisdom tooth removed and I begin gushing about my own wisdom tooth extraction experiences. "You should go to my dentist, he's awesome," I'll exclaim, and then begin telling them about how I've had all of mine removed by Dr. Han with next to no discomfort, and I am always amazed when I hear of others' stories of painful results with other dentists. Although my positive experiences don't just stop at teeth cleanings and wisdom tooth extractions. For years Dr. Han had been pestering me to get a bite guard for my teeth grinding. I was stubborn and never did...until I started having issues with TMJ. I returned, defeated, and asked about it, and after a little scolding for ignoring his warnings and several x-rays showing the damage that was caused in my jaw, he suggested a "TMJ-bite- stabilizer" to fix the issue. I'll admit, despite my always positive experiences, I was skeptical, but ultimately relented. Having one's jaw stuck open quickly becomes good motivation to listen to the experts and do as they suggest! After just a couple weeks of treatment my jaw issues had all but disappeared. It has now been...roughly over a year (give or take?) and my jaw issues have never once returned! I can't emphasize enough how valuable this treatment was, and am still surprised at how quickly it worked. So chalk that up to yet another success for the good doctor, and I am as always, quite grateful for not only his expertise, but care and professionalism. I have recommended him to anyone who mentions "dentist" in my vicinity, and I will continue to recommend him for anyone who needs dental work done of any kind. I don't think I would trust my teeth with another!

Dentist wanted to Fill one of my teeth and pull the other 2. I told the Dentist I would like to have the Tooth he wanted to fill, pulled and the other tooth behind it, pulled as well since those 2 are the primary culprits for my PAIN. I had the same symptoms on the other side of my mouth with the same 2 teeth. Those were pulled because they were cracked. He sent in the front office girl to tell me, since the tooth he wanted to FILL does not meet my insurance criteria for coverage, I have to pay out-of-pocket for the Filling. I said NO, that does not sound correct. So, she went on to say, he does not have time to do my work and he would give me a referral to see a SPECIALIST, who has better X-ray technology. I did not get a prescription for pain or anything. Come to find out, the tooth he wanted to fill is CRACKED. I have yet to receive any call or any referral information from this office. As of Today, Wednesday 10/29/2025, This office has NOT called my Insurance provider. My Insurance company has no record of them calling for any referral or any other information. I filed a Grievance complaint with my Insurance company. I will look into taking legal action for discrimination or any type of legal action if necessary. I will not return to this office if it means saving my LIFE!!! Horrible service. Very Disappointed!!!
