A week prior I was in for a cleaning and what I greatly appreciate it is that they took into consideration that I am a Marine Corps combat veteran with PTSD and they annotated my record to provide me an anesthetic that does not make your heart rate go fast. Dr Kim is the real deal. I have EDS & I'm CRAZY hard to numb. MANY are the fillings I've had without being numb because the dentist threw up their hands after an hour or three of trying unsuccessfully to get me numb. I do NOT enjoy that. And notwithstanding my AP dental hygiene game, my teeth are apparently soft as chalk so I still break them all the time. Extremely terrible service. Unsuccessful crown procedure where we had to return again because it was improperly done, resulting in an infection and pain for several weeks. Also purchased a night guard out of pocket for $300 and will not reply to any emails/texts/phone call regarding an issue with the night guard. FIVE STARS for Avion Dental! I came across Dr. Robert Kim via an employee here Marianne who is great with people, she previously worked at my prior Dentist here in Chino Hills. Though I was happy with my previous Dentist I became frustrated by the high turn over rate with his staff and a very unpleasant office Manager who highly lacks customer service skills. So with the high recommendation of Dr. Kim I began coming here a few month's ago. Upon my initial visit I was very impressed with the very clean waiting area along with the entire office in general. Free coffee along with other refreshments as well. I came in for a general check up and to get fitted for a night guard due to my teeth grinding while sleeping. This was my second guard, my previous guard was priced much higher at my previous Dentist. I also had a cavity filled in a very timely manner, the price was very reasonable especially with my insurance covering a good portion of the cost. Fast forward I went in to pick up my night guard, after a minor adjustment it fit great. Dr. Robert is a really cool down to earth guy and his staff made me feel very welcome on my first two visits and I look forward to going back for my future cleanings as well as any dental needs.
