Like any good mechanic they are in demand so it can sometimes be hard to get through and one needs to be proactive about communicating their needs. About 2 weeks later the car developed an oil leak from the area of the crankshaft seal and or the timing cover as well as the front valve cover gasket, all of which he had to change. I paid James 900 dollars cash and I supplied the parts needed to do the job. Now after 2 weeks of text messages and 2 or 3 phone calls to my place of employment, James said he has not forgot about me. I have now taken the vehicle to another mechanic for the repairs. This review is not about Capital Tech itself but the mechanic. I am expecting these repairs to cost another 300 to 500 dollars on top of the almost 1600 parts and labor already spent. I wish id just bought a new car instead. I paid $4000 for a 2002 VW Jetta. They told me it was in great shape and everything had been replaced, fixed etc... Maybe, but I've had it less than a year and its had multiple transmission leaks, windshield wiper motor blew and needed to be replaced, starter needed to be replaced, lower control rods need to be replaced, the turn signal electronics needed to be replaced. I cant help but think Tim and Co. took us for a ride here. I've had to put over 2000$ of work into the car in less than a year and now it needs 1300$ worth of more work done. I'm going to drive it into the ground and scrap it. Mike Johnson has always done very solid work for me BUT be very wary buying a vehicle here. Heed this warning, they will sell you a lemon and act like they're doing you a favor. 1 Star.

I could not believe it, so I jammed on the brakes to see if it would feel like it was touching the ground. To my surprise, it did not. The brake hold. That is the first time I felt safe in my car. I would not even recommend Andex Auto to my worst enemy because they put your life at risk. The lack of cleaning the area and adding lubrication to the base where the new brakes would go could've cost me my life on a slippery road, in a snowstorm, or even needing to jam on brakes. This shop is a liability to everyone. Be careful of the work you let them do on your car; double-check, especially if you are us woman.

I love my car so much, and if I can get a few more years our of it, I'd be happy. She said they're great, reasonably priced, and do not try to swindle their customers with unnecessary repairs. So I decided to check them out. Upon entering, I was greeted by the nicest receptionist I may have ever met. She had a great smile, was friendly, and was professional but still laid back. I explained what I needed, which included looking at why my engine light was on, check my shocks (because my car made very loud noises with every little bump in the road), and anything else they could find. Then I wanted an estimate and we'd discuss next steps. Made an appointment for the upcoming Thursday, left my car overnight, keys in the Dropbox, and they'd look at it in the morning. Got the estimate a few days later than anticipated, because the mechanic is always SUPER busy, then scheduled a pickup. Turned out that I needed new tires (which was not a surprise), my shocks were dead (hence the loud banging whenever I drove over a little bump), and my heater was on the fritz (the engine light). Spoke to the mechanic, and he said he could have my car ready by the following evening. So I said let's do all work as a holiday treat to myself. Picked up my car after work the following day, met up with the mechanic, and he went over everything with me. To my surprise, and due to an error, they even did a little extra work and didn't charge me for it! When I drove my car home, it felt like it was brand new, and if it wasn't for my "dog blankets" protecting my car seats, I would think that I just drove it off the sales lot. Overall, Auto Solutions is a place I will continue to go back to. The professionalism mixed with a laid-back personal approach, really made me feel at ease. Not charging me for some extra work that was done was a very nice holiday gift from them, and I am very grateful. Be fair warned, if you are a type A personality, and need everything quickly laid out in front of you, in a very specific time frame, they may not be your first choice. But if you have a little time on your hands, I will always highly recommend them.

Color me shocked when they showed me the Alignment report on why she had 2 rear tires going bald on the outside where even the steel belts were showing on one. Even hitting a pothole every day for 6 months couldn't have screwed up her alignment that bad. They have no idea what they are doing regarding alignment to the point they either don't even do it, or they have incompetent employees taking short cuts. I would recommend you not visit them for anything related to alignments or tires. Within 8 months you will probably have the same issue and be out another 1k+. Absolutely ridiculous to take advantage like that.
