I arrived just before 9 this morning to receive my inspection and my oil change. I was greeted warmly by Scott who was in the front end Lobby, he was very courteous, he was very friendly and he was able to help me right away with what I needed and checked me right in. It was a very inviting place to be because it allowed you to relax and not worry about what needed to be done and it was very professionally run. I'm going to now talk about the experience with my vehicle. This was also a great experience the tech that worked on my vehicle was excellent he was well informed he knew exactly what he was doing he was the one that performed the inspection on my vehicle and was very thorough. He also performed the oil change and also performed all the other text that needed to be done including the air filters in which he did find something that needed to be changed which was both air filters. Normally they would try to push items on to you while they're working on the vehicle that was not so in this case they let me know that the vehicle passed inspection but did need to get tires eventually and expressed concern that although they did pass the tires did seem like they were on the very cusp of not passing so they recommended that I get them replaced as soon as possible I thought that was excellent of them because they could have very easily just said while you need to replace them now but they didn't they were honest, and honesty goes a long way with me. Overall my experience there was an excellent one I truly enjoyed the conversation I had with Scott and during the wait for my vehicle the knowledge that the tech had was Bar None when it came to my vehicle and what needed to be done with it and the professional courtesy that was given to me and expressed in this facility was very much appreciated. had an appointment for an inspection on Monday, August 1. I met with Scott at the desk. He came back after about an hour telling me I needed breaks and a tire to pass inspection. He changed his tune a little when my husband (women have a hard time with people who work with cars) came in, but still insisted that the car could not pass inspection without over $500 WORTH OF WORK! He said they already took the inspection sticker off. When we told him that I could not leave the car overnight so they could do the work, he said that they didn't, in fact, take the sticker off and he let us go. This means they lied!! The next day, my car passed inspection at another shop with abolutely NO problems detected. This alsao means THEY LIED! This is a shady operation. read more

I could not ask for a better experience even after 8 days of having the new tires installed, while driving on the road went over some sort of metal which puncture one of side edges of my rear driver side tire. I paid for the road hazard protection plan which was very economic, I wasn't going to pay for it but I'm thankful I did because where the tire got puncture was not repairable. When I brought the tire to the shop they said not to worry about they ordered a replacement for it and got it fix by the next day when I got done from work which workout perfectly read more

What a Great Experience I had today at the GoodYear Store @ 3713 NY State Street Schenectady NY 12304. I have been to a lot of tire stores over the years and today Scott Pincher the General Manager is the reason the experience was so Great at his store!!!! I also have to say the tech Jacob was also an excellent. Goodyear is so lucky to have a store manager as they have in Scott. I had a tire with a slow leak and brought it into the Goodyear Tire Store on State St. in Schenectady without an appointment. Despite being extremely busy, Scott Pincher (Store Manager) squeezed me in and patched the tire. Neither he nor his sales advisor Sarah Rodger's tried to up-sell me to new tires. They were courteous, efficient, and reasonable. Very customer oriented. I'll need tires in the next year and I'll be buying them from Scott! read more

Goodyear auto service was amazing. I worked Scott Pincher, who from the beginning was awesome. He helped me find the best deal on tires, ordering them directly from corporate. When I dropped my car off at the wrong shop, Scott without hesitation went to pick my car up and brought it in for the work. He kept me updated throughout the whole time, letting me know what else my car needed without being pushy. Of all the places I called to get a quote on new tires, Goodyear auto service was the best priced and one of the few places who actually called me back. High recommend! read more

Good service, sometimes a little slow but still acceptable. A couple times I've been in for an oil change and the service tech tried to push other services on me which were proven invalid by a trusted mechanic. Pretty fair prices and always a friendly staff. read more

Slow is the only word that comes to mind when I hear the name Goodyear tire! It would also be nice if the workers helping you didn't say things like I'm not sure why and maybe! I'm a much more definitive . A little less talking on the shop floor would also go a long way and maybe more work would get done!
