Once again I decided to give a major brand shop very close to me a try - after not using them for a…read morelong time due to reliability and integrity issues. I was abruptly reminded why I don't use them anymore. I went in for a simple annual inspection. I passed but was told that I actually needed rear brakes and rotors - on my vehicle with under 50,000 miles on it. I don't trust them so I took my vehicle to this Midas shop I have been doing business with. Jesse, the Assistant Manager, checked out my rear brakes and rotors and, surprise, there was absolutely nothing wrong with them! I have dealt with Jesse previously and found him to be a very talented mechanic and management employee. Once again the local shop pulled their dishonest diagnosis of my vehicle and, once again, Jesse and Midas proved their integrity. This Midas shop is the only shop I will ever have my vehicles serviced by. Competency and integrity mean everything! This Midas has them both!!!

Failed a second vehicle with 12k miles for a tiny line of rust on the back rotor. When questioned, the service advisor's excuse was "it's up to the inspectors discretion", a corporate translation of "We decide if we want to fail you to scam you on unnecessary repairs". Don't fall for their bullcrap and certainly do not bring your vehicle here. Someone really ought to do the hidden camera exposure on this place where a mechanic runs through the vehicle and then exposes all the scammed upsells!

I was quoted a price. I repeatedly asked if it was a identical and I was told that yes it was. Only when I got home did I find out that it was a similar tire but not identical. My car only has 3000 miles on it so I want matching tires. They were not ultimately able to supply an identical tire with similar numbers and letters. If there were a zero I would've given them that rating.

I decided to gave them another try (due to their proximity to my home). This time they did not disappoint. Jesse Cater - the new Manager - was fantastic and I complimented him on how well I heard him dealing with other customers while I was waiting for my vehicle. Josh, the technician who did the work on my vehicle was top notch. He did a wheel alignment for me and I watched the computer screen on the alignment machine while he worked. He was not satisfied to get the alignment specifications close. I watched as he got the specification perfect! Most had not been that precise during my past visits. To sweeten the deal, the Manager honored a discount coupon I had from a competitor - and he did not hesitate to do so. Jesse and Josh made this a great experience.

I've gone to that location for years. they were always reliable. then yesterday went to just get an…read moreinspection. they presented me with a document that showed detailed pictures of these crazy worn out brake pads.. the second I asked them to show me.. it was clear that it was all made up. the guy at the desk told me my rear brake was the issue. then when we went to the truck it was my front brake that was the problem not the rear! the pictures on their little report had pictures of the contact side of my brake pads, but the pads and calipers were still assembled on the wheels. so, what they took the caliper off and took pictures and put it all back together? total BS Brought my truck to a Dealer the next day and not only did they pass me, but they confirmed there were no issues whatsoever with either my front or rear brakes.
