They have a great variety in drinks with traditional signature drinks to trending speciality flavors. Several pastries, cakes, and meat puffs. I had the sand dune late which wasn't overly sweet which I was nervous about. They have a variety of milks so I was able to get a nondairy milk. I tried the ginger lime refresher. It was light refreshing and pretty finger forward which tone down the tartness of lime. I also got the chicken pastry puff which was filled with a seasoned chicken. They warmed it up and the crust was flakey and great.

Upon my first sip, I was greeted with creaminess of the oat milk blended in Matcha, but then I was hit with the very sweet flavor of the mango, which overwhelmed my drink. My recommendation is to go less than the 80% sweetness level if you are choosing a drink that contains fruit (i.e mango or strawberry). I'll definitely be coming back again!

The Spinach and Feta Pretzel Melt seemed to fit the bill for this time of day, so I rolled with it. Let me pause to say this: my 7yo was in the car and wanted to try some of mine. Keep in mind this was SPINACH aka "green stuff". My child ate it. He ate so much of it that I had to fight to get half and then he asked when we could go back and get it again. So clearly the spinach and feta pretzel melt is magic. Third: the coffee!! I'm a fairly basic coffee person so initially ordered a hot latte, then decided to splurge and get some hazelnut syrup when the barista mentioned it. Their black tea is better than a lot of boba shops I've tried around Austin and although their regular sugar is too sweet for me, it's an easy fix on the kiosk or at the register. It's also very easy to earn rewards on their app as well as claim monthly/quarterly bonuses and treats that they give out to all rewards members! Their pastries are also divine. My fiancée and I usually buy a whole tray to cater to our friends in the morning. Service: 10/10 baristas are always so friendly and efficient Boba: 10/10 Price: $5.25 for a large boba milk tea which is cheap for Austin! Around $2~$3 for pastries on average. Ambiance: 7/10 this place gets PACKED and there isn't much seating so usually it's take out only for me. I wouldn't really consider this place great for studying.

In addition, I do not have a Haraz Coffee House near me, so when I am near one of their locations, I make it a point to pop in. I love Haraz. I love the ambience. I love the coffee. I love the pastry selection. I love the service. The consistency I've experienced from location to location is top-notch. The cleanliness here is impeccable, too. That bears mentioning. My go-to is the Haraz Latte. Iced. While this could never be my every day coffee, it is something I really enjoy and treat myself to when I'm able to go to a Haraz. As someone who doesn't proclaim to like cheesecake, their Biscoff cheesecake is the exception. Maybe it's a blessing that one isn't close by and I can only indulge every now and then. If you want a break from your regular coffee, give Haraz a shot. Especially when the summer heat kicks in - the iced coffee + cardamom is pretty great. Also, they seem to have a high standard for hiring. The staff is always great. Please tip generously ;)

Open later than most coffee shops, especially in this deserted part of town. Varied drink menu, both caffeinated and not caffeinated, including refreshers. Nice creative variety of desserts (including a Biscoff cake!) and a kolaches case. At one point the brought some hot baked dessert (looked like a whole coffee cake) out the oven and it smelled like heaven. The bad: Nothing vegan or healthy, not even pre-made cold sandwiches or packaged salads. If you are a little peckish for a healthy snack, this is not the place. The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. Disappointingly, the Americano was also watery and sort of "lemony", but I still drank half while sitting with my friend. I'll say that my friend had some sort of an iced latte that she enjoyed. I might try a second visit and order a Turkish coffee, but I will make sure to have had a full meal before.

For the price, it felt quite expensive for what was offered, though I will say the taste itself was decent and enjoyable. While at the counter, I noticed a hiring notice posted and casually asked about it. The manager happened to be present and bluntly stated that they were not hiring. I suggested removing the notice to avoid confusion for customers, but he was quite resistant to the idea. The interaction felt a bit awkward and unwelcoming, especially since clear communication goes a long way in customer service. Hopefully, with time and experience, this improves. Overall, the experience was okay--not terrible, but not particularly memorable either. There's definitely room for improvement.

ALSO i was already having second thoughts about my purchase when i saw the box of plain store bought croissants on the counter not that i expect this small kiosk to be folding dough and popping it in an industrial oven however can you blame me for expecting something more exciting, decadent, and fresh. Though with all that i will say the berry refresher was in-fact refreshing and it came in a reusable cup so points for that.
