HTeaO is the way to go! I'm not a coffee drinker, so I definitely prefer tea, and this is such a great concept! Imagine if you will...a sweltering Texas summer day...in December. You're walking along the desert plains...along Nacogdoches Rd, when suddenly, over the horizon, you spot a sign...or is it? You squint, and rub your eyes to make sure that it isn't a mirage. You realize it's not. You have stumbled onto an oasis of refreshment! As you step through the doors and feel that blast from the air curtain, you have arrived. As you survey the area, you spot an endless array of bubbling fountains, as far as the eye can see...a nirvana...nay, a Teavana. No, strike that. I must be thinking of a different tea place that no longer exists. Where was I? Oh yes, the infinite fountains of flavor; from the sweetened to unsweetened, the flavor combinations are endless. I have heard rumors that there are 502,789,463,081,222 flavor combos that you can try. I have visited multiple locations around the greater San Antonio area in the year that I have lived here, and I have tried approximately 2 flavor combinations. So, I guess I have my work cut out for me. There are plenty of sizes to choose from, 5 to be exact. 24oz, 32oz, 40oz, 44oz (foam cup), and a 51oz. You can also get gallon sizes as well. Mini, Half, and full Gallon. Also, they have some of the most luxe ice around. Myself, I prefer no ice in my drinks. (I like to get my money's worth) You can also add fresh fruit mix-ins: lemon, lime, and/or orange slices, as well as cherries. One thing that I would love to be able to see is, maybe set out some flavored creamers or syrups, as to enhance the experience, by being able to customize your own drinks. Probably too much of an ask. But, the suggestion has at least been made. Also, just in case you need your coffee fix, they got you. As well as hot chocolate, hot tea, snacks, lip balm, and they even have bulk water and ice available for purchase, not to mention plenty of branded merch. Overall, this a definitely a great place to come and quench your thirst. In my experience, the staff has always been friendly, as they greet you when you come in, and usually thank you for coming in and invite you back. Every location that I have been to has been spotless and well organized. Thank goodness I never have to travel too far to have my beverage needs met. read more

I've been wanting to try this place, I love a good drink! We got a Georgia peach tea, strawberry lemonade w strawberries and an iced caramel macchiato. The service was quick and friendly! My tea was perfect, I wish they put more ice tho- the peach flavor wasn't too overbearing and the tea itself wasn't super sweet- just right. The lemonade was served w the berries on the side- I thought that was strange, but the berries were fresh and didn't look like they'd been sitting out forever. The lemonade was decent. My boyfriend and I had been wanting to try this place since we moved down the street in April. Yesterday was the day. My boyfriend loves sweet tea, and decided to go with the large peach tea. He rated it a 6/10. Said it wasn't anything where he was like "oh my gosh, this is some good tea" .. just mediocre. Really wasn't that sweet either. I like tea, but don't love it. I really wanted a coffee but it was too late in the day for that, so I opted for the peaches & cream iced tea latte. It was okay. Didn't taste like much, really just like a peach milk. They have a loyalty/rewards program but more than half the time they don't ask for you information (if you're a rewards member/phone number). They don't clean the counters so very often you have sticky spots on the counter that you have to watch out for. This is a pretty genius business model. You go through a drive through or go inside and can order from a long list of tea related drinks. You can mix and match, get sweetened or unsweetened, order small size all the way up to gallons. They have a pretty long line most of the day, but it moves fast. The menu was intimidating the first time I went since there were so many cars behind me and I had to make a quick decision, but I got a watermelon mint tea mixed with something else. It was so cheap. I can see why people come here every day. It is an affordable, quick treat that doesn't break the bank. If I had a party or gathering coming up I would stop here to get a variety of drinks. My husband and I purchased two gallons of tea on 8/7 and when we checked the "chug by" date the dates were 8/8 and 8/9. The we asked the manager at this location about this she said is was company policy they put that but the tea should still be good until about Sunday. My husband argued that if it says it expires on 8/8 the it should be consumed by then and asked for a refund. When asked why they were selling tea that expires the next day manger said that if we wanted the "freshest tea" we had to ask for it. We will not be stopping here again. read more

Overpriced beverages and horrible customer service, I do not recommend. None of the workers do their jobs they just stand around on their phones or stand around talking not acknowledging the customers. The manager was very rude when I tried talking to him, there was very poor customer service. The tea is extremely sweet and the coffee is way too over priced, you could get better coffee for a better price anywhere else. The music was up so loud that I could barely hear the girl talking to me while I was purchasing my drinks at the counter. Came out to check out the grand opening especially since I just love tea. This was some really great tea! There were assorted flavors to try and I left with the huge size of the sweet Georgia peach. I think this is one of my top three favorite flavors here. I went ahead and took a gallon of the sweet Georgia peach and a gallon of the Ryan Palmer which was blended very well. Went in for happy hour which is 2:00 to 4:00 pm, so they were busy. I had a coupon for for a free huge tea but was unable to use the coupon because they said they had problems with the register. However, they did not have any problem ringing me up for my order, so not sure what the problem was and why I could not use their coupon on their app. Tea is good but if you get anything else it is overpriced. I got the chai tea latte and it was NOT included in the happy hour discount just FYI. I paid like ~$5.50 for my iced medium chai latte (20 oz) which was not worth it. Id rather get a chai tea and add my own milk next time, that way you don't pay the over inflated price because they are adding the milk. Also, the size of the chai latte and any coffees are not the same as as the teas this is for the cold and hot version, so keep that in mind when you order. Overpriced! read more

If iced tea is your thing then this is the place to be. They have so many different flavors and fruit add-ins to choose from, it's unbelievable. My personal favorite is the Watermelon Sweet Tea which I would have never guessed I would like to begin with. Luckily if you go inside they have taste testing cups so you can try out all the flavors. I have been going here as well since August 2021 and it just beats the other tea stores around the area here in San Antonio, TX. They have different types of teas (sweet or unsweet) and even Pink Grapefruit drinks. They also have awesome tumblers and coolers for your needs when you're traveling or just driving alot. They also have an app that you scan your bar codes from your receipts and you can get incentives to get drinks, gallons, half-gallons for free. So I'll start by saying that the drinks are great... but their service is horrible. I was given a $50 gift card as a present for HTeaO. They had no problem taking the money for it but when it was time for me to use it I was told no one can figure out how to use them so they don't accept them. I asked to speak to the manager, Omar, and they said he was out. The person in charge at the time, Anthony, was no help as well. I asked for information to speak to corporate and he proceeded to "Google" it on his personal phone. He couldn't find any helpful information. He had no contact with any management and was at a complete loss on what to do. I left empty handed. I was able to find an email to corporate and have yet to hear anything from them. More to come...
