First time checking out this spot. I love boba drinks and have tried many many places around town so I decided to give this one a go. I ordered a taro with soy plus tapioca. The ice wasnt all the way crushed and had big chunks and it tasted like they made my drink with water and not soy milk. The flavor was lacking and the tapioca pearls were way overcooked. The price for a medium was around $7. The service was friendly. I was at the drive through so I cannot speak to the ambiance. I most likely will not return. read more

Passed this location a number of times and finally decided to give them a try on the way back to the hotel. We chose this one over Ding Tea. Not sure why - maybe because it's a little more secluded and we wanted to support them? No worries. They had one table and 3 cars in the drive through while I was there. Yes. A drive through! I think I only saw ONE boba shop in Houston with a drive through so that's a nice touch. Due to the cars, my drinks did take a little longer to come out, but nothing crazy. I got our staples because they were out of their seasonal flavor (something about gingerbread - I'm a sucker for trying seasonal flavors) - Oolong Milk Tea with Crystal boba (less ice) - a great drink to fall back on and I love the chew of those Konjac pearls and the fact that they contain a fraction of the calories that you get with your standard tapioca pearls. The thing was it's sweeter than I expected. Earl Grey Milk Tea with the 3 J's (less ice) - my favorite that has your fragrant earl grey combined with fun things to chew on/slurp up. I forgot what's exactly in there but there is definitely boba and herbal jelly.. and egg pudding? The sweetness on this was perfect despite not adjusting sugar levels. A nice clean place. Fairly quiet with 2 people working the closing shift on New Year's Day who were nice and helpful despite having a number of orders at the same time. Would not recommend this location. I will start by saying the cashier was very nice so my issue wasn't necessarily with customer service. It was everything else that was wrong. First, I ordered three drinks- one of them was a Strawberry Milk Slush and asked for no toppings (This one was for a young child so I didn't want boba in it) They still included boba in this drink and this drink was the worst one- It was ready within MINUTES couldn't have been more than 3 minutes so to me it seemed like it had been sitting there possibly from a previous order. The order was wrong and the texture was horrible as if it had already settled. The second drink I ordered was a Matcha Strawberry Milk which had a very bitter taste to it, I couldn't drink more than two sips of it. I was excited to see we had a Gong Cha here as I had tried this place in Houston, sadly Houston's location was better. The location here doesn't offer a variety of dairy free add in's for the tea, and being a drink company I would think they should. They only had almond milk and whole milk when we visited. The one in Houston was better prepared as they had oat milk non-dairy creamer, heavy cream, lactose free milk, coconut, so plenty of options. I usually go with oat milk personally not a fan of almond milk, but I did try. I'll stick to my normal places till I go back to Houston. I hope they increase the kind of dairy and non-dairy to blend with the teas. The ambiance was cute. Service was okay, they did not seem very familiar with the menu. read more
