Started out with a very rude welcome from the wife owner. I added our four grandchildren on for one nights stay at $5 each, which for what is at this place and what I already paid was really crazy. Everything is done through text, probably due to a language barrier on their part. On Saturday our grandkids came back to the RV to grab something and almost immediately the wife texted me to see why they were back and if they were staying again she would need to charge me another $5 each. They weren't there for more than two mins - this was terrible behavior on the owners part. The sites are not level and the gravel is deep, sites are super close to each other and the staff was very unfriendly and this campground was overpriced for what you get. Do your research and find another place to stay - there are other places in the area, just do some research. read more

Initial overview of campground is good, showers are either super hot or super cold no in between. terrible service, we booked 4 nights and got charged for it and went to check out before the fifth night and they charged us for another night. prior to booking they told us checkout had to be done by 6 pm and we went to check out at 3 pm and they said we had to check out by 11 and would not work with us or offer any help and proceeded to charge us. terrible to talk to and very rude owners. would not recommend coming here. overpriced firewood $10 a bundle and overpriced campground for the quality of the sites. we wete also told that tent sites had water and electric on the phone and the tent site did not have water. read more

My family and I stayed here for two nights while my husband finished up some work in the area. When we got to the park it was completely empty. I stayed back in May. The rate was $65 a night with no good sam discount like advertised. We needed a late check out on the last day and the lady told me she would have to charge me a full night. I was able to talk her down to half since we wouldn't be using any of the amenities. The park had nothing special except that it was close to Niagara Falls. There was only two people who joined me in the park while we were there for two and a half days. Very expensive for what we got. read more

The campfire rim was actually a car rim which was super weird and made it really tough to have an actual fire, especially with the wood sold in their store (too big). Mediocre (based on the many places we have stayed) at best. So we found this campground in our Good Sam book and we called to ask about treed sites and to make sure it would accommodate our travel trailer & we were told there was several treed sites. Upon arrival, we found the campground to be "muh" and the only sites that provided minimal shade in the afternoon, were 62, 63 & 64 and those were pull thrus. There were a few back in sites that were shaded in the a.m., but basically the campground had trees around the perimeter of it only. The sites are minimally graveled with the larger, sharp gravel and minimal width between sites. It is true it is close to the falls, but I believe it is further than 6 miles or at least, it takes about 15-20 mins (depending on traffic) to get to park entrance. This was the only thing we really felt was a plus. The laundry room was clean. There are 2 washers and 4 dryers. We did not use or check the bathrooms. It is also true they have guided tours from campsite; however, we found it of more value to pay $10 for all day parking (with in/out privileges-keep your receipt!) and purchase a discovery pass ($56-2019) to do all the things while in Niagara Falls vs being on a guided tour ($110 for American side, 4 hrs-2019) and on their schedule. If this isn't enough, the noise of planes from the airport, a train or a loud siren going off 2-3 times a day will thrill you. We will not return to this particular park. We prefer the State and National Parks to any "for profit" rv parks in the Niagara Falls area. I don't understand WHY Good Sam gives this park such high ratings. BTW, this is the most expensive place we've stayed on our entire trip. Hope this review helps you. read more

Pricey full hook up at over 140 for 2 nights. Bare bones here, gravel parking spot then a little swampy grass next to your spot. The Korean lady in office is very short and rude with you. Her exact words were"Can't you read?!" She was very unpleasant. The facility did have bathrooms and laundry and small store inside office. Unfunded dog run sucks, doesn't allow your dogs to run around safely in fenced area. Won't stay again! I can read and I hope others can too! read more

Campground doesn't have a lot of amenities considering the price they charge per night. It's is clean but very,very tight spots. Very weak WiFi and no cable tv. Small fire rings. We cook over fire so we needed to adapt by buying cinder blocks and making our own "ring". Dog friendly but dog walking area is far from campsite area so people still walk their dogs around perimeter of campground. Bring your own doggie bags bc cmpgrnd does not supply in cases of an oops. Showers and bathrooms were clean. read more

DECEPTIVE PRICING AND RIGID, BLAME-THE-CUSTOMER SERVICE A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE. Niagara Fall Campground and Lodging is a barren lot immediately off a busy street with narrow trailer slots and no privacy. But the big disappointment was the deceptive pricing and rigid blame-the-customer service. We call for availability and pricing for a site with electricity for our Class B camper van for that same evening. We were told that a site with electricity and water would be $41.40 with our Good Sam discount. We arrived at about 7:30 p.m. and the office was closed, but a small kiosk said to choose the desired self-registration form and fill in the information including our credit card info. The only choices for sites were "Pull-through 60 amp", "Pull-though 30 amp", and "Tent" sites. Nothing on the kiosk or the registration forms listed the prices for any of the sites. Since we wanted the lowest price site with electricity, we completed the "Pull-through 30 amp" site form and set up camp at the appropriate site number. The next morning we were told by the owner that we had been charged $49.50 because the $41.50 price quoted over the phone was for the "20-amp sites". When we asked where the "20-amp sites" were we were told that they were the "Tent" sites. We asked how we were supposed to know that and were told that "everybody else that come here knows that". When we mentioned that we had been camping a lot and we had never encountered that the word "Tent" would mean 20-amp sites for class B campers we were told, "Well, you have a lot to learn." I immediately checked the TripAdvisor site and when I saw all the negative reviews, I asked the owner if he was at all concerned with these negative reviews. He said no, he didn't care because everyone else who stayed at his campground loved it and it was only a disgruntled few "who broke the rules" who were the complainers. I agreed that was possible, but that in our experience most businesses have some of their satisfied customers write positive 4 and 5 star reviews. The owner replied "No it is just a racket by TripAdvisor who won't publish the good reviews to try to extract money from my business". With that belief system, I realized that I was not going to be able to help this owner see the value of customer service, but I told him I would be writing both a TripAdvisor and Yelp review to warn prospective customers what to expect. On the one hand, it's perfunctory, and really with camping what do you need except for a piece of ground and a place to setup a fire? Staff are not the friendliest. Amenities are eh, ok - shower, washing machine, dryer (although required way too many quarters for drying, so I didn't - what happened to optional lengths of time to pay?) However what drove me nuts, bonkers insane was the high number of mosquitoes. Within the 2 nights staying there I accumulated over 40 bites - thats with bug juice and bug candle going. Apparently this place is bad for dem bugs. For that alone, I am not a fan. read more

After calling and making reservations, we arrived at this campground approximately 2 PM. We were given a price of $64 a night, however when Arrived we were told the $64 only applied when you stay two days or longer and for one night the price was $69 a night. We agreed to stay two days and pay the $64 a night. once we agree on the $64 for two tonights, we were told we have to pay an extra five dollars because Of the length of our motorhome (45 feet). At no point, during our phone conversation were we told that we would be charged of an extra five dollars for staying one night or because of the length of our motorhome making our price $69 a night. I have been camping for over 45 years, and this is absolutely the first time I've ever encountered an extra charge for staying one night or for the length of my motorhome. it seems rather clear that the goal was ascertain $69 a night regardless of situation. The host and owners of this campground are clearly using deceptive tactics once you arrive at their campground. I realize that every campground is is in the business to make money, but to be deceptive about your price is the lowest form of business practices. Pulled into one and walked to the office, the barely English speaking owner was rude, told me "you park register no enter first" I said we were just looking for a spot we liked. This is a good place to stay if you are wanting to put down roots to sightsee. It's within a short drive of the Falls and other places. Easy in and out. The sites are close together and are pull thru sites so if you are traveling with another camper you are able to face your campers toward each other which is always nice. It is a clean place. Well let me start by saying I don't expect much from campground. Myself wife and daughter rented a camper. When I set up the reservation the woman on the phone seemed to be excited. She told me that she had the camper lined up for the rest of the summer. She got me hooked I was intrigued. For 75$ a night not bad for a full camper. I reserved it right away paying the initial 225$ down payment with 15$ cancellation fee. I told the women on the phone i would complete paying for the camper upon checkout. She told me this would be satisfactory. Well we arrived at the campground to Check in. When we did the woman at the Check-in looked at me funny when I told her I would pay when I checked out. I told them this when Made the reservation. We got all of the official business out of the way. Not a bad camp site by day. Lots of people there a lot going on. We arrived at our camper to find it unused unkempt and in overall disarray. Again I don't expect a lot for 75$ a night but the least you can do is air out the camper before we get there. It looked like the last people to stay there were last summer. This is the same camper they had reserved for the whole summer. I'm night going to drag this review on forever. If you happen upon this camp stay away if not i warned you. If they just maintained it just a little bit I would give another 1 stars just for doing what your supposed to do with a rental mobile home. I totally agree with "DECEPTIVE PRICING AND RIGID, BLAME-THE-CUSTOMER SERVICE"!!!! We called from 3 hours away to get a 50 amp pull-thru RV spot for 2 days. We have traveled at least 18 states in 30 days and have stayed in numerous camps. EVERYTIME I call for reservations I repeat we need at least 65 feet because our motorhome is 38 feet and our car trailer is 22 feet long. She said they had a site available, I asked the price with our Sam Club discount. She asked how many people and I told her 3 adults, she did not ask about pets. She quoted $65.30 per night with our discount and gave me a confirmation number. Here the scam starts, when we entered the office she said I only told her 30 foot motorhome and no trailer. That was not true!!!! Why would I lie and we get there and would not fit????? She said oh, now you need a bigger spot....funny the spot next to us is larger than the site she gave us. She would not honor the confirmation amount. Anyway, as was said the STAFF are very rigid and unfriendly!!!! o where to start... well first, its more of an RV place and we were the only tenter or anyone to stay more then 2 nights. its seems most people come and go and this is just a stop over, most people leave FIRST thing in the AM. this is a VERY small campground, not what I'm used to in NH. you can see the whole campground from one spot. it is a very noisy campground, you are right on the main road so lots of traffic, there is a busing company on one side and they start up all the buses every morning and have to check the horns... so about 20 times you hear the buses starting and beeping @ 6am... not so pleasant... there is a volunteer fire dept behind the campground, so when there is an emergency they blow an air raid horn, the first morning we thought we were under attack @6:30 when the horn went off. for the good points, the bathrooms are very clean, the RVers for the most part use their own so we were the only ones in the bathrooms. we did have to do some laundry cause it rained the first 3 days we were there and the washers and dryers worked pretty good. there is a pool which is VERY small, and a little play yard for the kids, i only saw 2 families here the whole week, mostly older, retired folk, this was not a terrible camping experience but not what I'm used to, would i recommend? for a night maybe but longer no. oh yeah i forgot to mention that you are less then a mile from the air port and a little further to a very busy RR read more

I don't understand these bad reviews. C'mon folks, this is a small campground in a tourist area. It's on the highway and close to Niagara Falls. That's why we chose it. If you want a large campground on a lake with a lot of grass, go out in the country and away from all the attractions. Because it's a tourist area, I made reservations in advance. When we got there, I explained that my husband is handicapped. They put us in a spot close to the showers, toilets, pool, and office. They couldn't have been more accommodating. Very nice people we enjoyed chatting with. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry were very clean. The pool was lovely. We don't have children, but noticed a very large play area for the kids. Sites are level and most are pull-through. You can sign up for the tours in an office on-site, and the bus stops right at the park. I highly recommend this park if you're going to Niagara Falls NY to see Niagara Falls. read more

I do not recommend this RV campground based on my recent experience. We called in advance and was told that there was plenty of vacancies and there would be no problem. The price we were given was $64 per night. Upon arrival we found that the $64 only applied if we were going to stay more than one night. If not the price would be $69 per night. We decided to stay two nights and started the process of checking in. I noticed some additional charges and immediately questioned them. I was told that we had to pay an additional $20 because we got there early. We could not check in until 1 o'clock. Please note that when we arrived at 11 o'clock the campground had six RVs on the entire campground. We asked if we could just park on the space and not hook-up since the spaces were available. We were then told that we were welcome to stay at a nearby Target parking lot until 1 o'clock or pay the additional money. Unbelievable. Because of this I rate this campground a -1 star. read more
