I waited no more than five minutes before being called in by the dental hygienist. She struck up great conversation and made me feel very comfortable as she cleaned my teeth. Dr. French came talk to me about a couple of issues I had and provided very reasonable recommendations and paths forward for each. Very friendly dentist! I provided my availability and stated I was flexible and could come most afternoons. I received a reply shortly after asking if I'd like to come the next day for a morning appt. Um no. I had already clearly stated I could do AFTERNOONS. Two weeks later I get a call and then a text asking if I'd like to be added to the "ASAP list". I thought I already was?! I was contacted AGAIN a few days later asking about my availability. How many times do I have to spell out I can come in the afternoons?! By this point, they're too much and I ask that they take me off the list. It's too much communication. May 27th comes along and I realize I've received no communication about my appointment on the 28th. I text them to find out they canceled my appointment. I NEVER told them to cancel my appointment. I simply didn't want to be constantly bothered about their "ASAP list". It's really unacceptable that they canceled an appointment I waited almost 3 months for. I was really hoping to have a good dentist 5 minutes from my house but no such luck. I was not interested in rescheduling as I completely lost trust in this office.

They cater to not only adults but also kids and they accept insurance which is great . I go there for myself and I took my 10 year old for teeth extraction that the orthodontist recommended and while the regular pediatric dentist gave estimate for $500+ even after insurance, autumn smile dental got it done for less than hundred after insurance. There's a few times where I felt like I was going to drown as my mouth was filled with water while lying down in the chair. I told her that she used a lot of water, she kind of laughed it off and did use the suction a bit more often than before but I don't think she realized how uncomfortable it was for me. I've cleaned my teeth every 6 months or so but I've never had such an uncomfortable experience. Other than that, it's great. So, it might be something you want to let the hygienist know before you start your cleaning.

After narrowing it down based on ratings, number of reviews, review quality, office size, and hours, I was left with three options. I chose Orchard, and I made the right choice. This place has great ratings, which is pretty rare for medical offices for some reason unless it's a new Yelp page or one that people just haven't bothered reviewing. It's kind of like how fast-food restaurants and clubs always seem to have low ratings for some reason. Anyway, the reviews here are great too. If there are any bad reviews, you kind of have to use your judgment to figure out whether it's a one-off situation or just an unreasonable customer. This isn't one of those huge offices with a bunch of chairs lined up like the DMV, where they're just churning patients through like an assembly line. I hate those places because they always overbook, and I end up waiting forever for an appointment. Even when I show up on time, I still have to wait a long time before being seen. I work late on weekdays and can't really take time off during the day. On weekends, I usually catch up on sleep and don't want to spend my day off running errands. They're not always available on Tuesdays either, which can mean an even longer wait for appointments. That's why the fact that they're open until 7 PM on Tuesdays is a huge plus for me. As you can tell from the pictures, the office is very clean, modern, and well-equipped. The staff has always been friendly, and they've been very understanding about my tardiness and occasional cancellations to the point where I feel like they should hate me, but they definitely don't act like it. They also seem to have the latest and greatest equipment... I think. I'm mostly judging that based on how much more advanced their machines looked compared to every other dental office I've been to. I started noticing one of my teeth needed treatment pretty badly and I went back to the one place I had a great experience SIX years ago! I was treated by a different female Indian dentist (I'm sorry I didn't get her name!) but WOW! She could recognize I was very nervous and did everything to help me feel safe. The light taps on my chin and co distant verbal reassurance and the quality of work she left me with. I had to have two root canals and after I came back for my permanent crowns, I was shocked with how naturally they fit in my mouth and she PERFECTLY color matched them to my teeth. I've NEVER left a dental office so pleased. I showed my mother in law and my husband and they would definitely like to switch over to this office if they're taking new patients.

I had some really horrible scammy dental experiences right before starting care with her, and she helped me sort out the mess the last dentist had left of mine of my teeth (they lost my crown impression somehow after months of telling me my permanent crown was on the way). She also told me my previous dentist told me I had more cavities than I actually did, saving me money and unnecessary pain. As someone with pretty bad dental anxiety, she is the best dentist you can go to. She even let me (a fully grown woman) bring a stuffed animal into the office to help.
