    Who you work with matters…read more In August of 2024, I received a letter from my home owners insurance stating that one of my policies would be canceled on December 14th. I sent the notice to my insurance broker, whom I had used for years, and they told me they would be taking care of it as time got closer. After Thanksgiving, I contacted my broker to check in on how my new policy was coming along. They said everything was fine and sent me a policy. At the time of binding, they discovered they had been shopping for insurance for an address that is not mine and told me they had no other options for me I was panicking! I called Jeremy and Jessica Connally with Farmers insurance in Monterey. They immediately went to work (on a Friday night!) One of the issues they ran into with insuring my property was that I had to file three claims in 2023. Two of which were trees that had fallen on a rental during the storms and a burst water in another unit. I was basically uninsurable and was likely going to have to be covered under the California Fair Plan. However, Jeremy, Jessica, and their whole team spent an immense amount of time looking at every option for me. On Monday, December 11th, they had found me a policy and were able to bind coverage with just three days to spare before my insurance lapsed! I am so lucky to have been able to get to know Jessica and Jeremy professionally over the past two years because if I hadn't, this situation would have turned out a lot differently. With the way homeowners insurance is in CA right now, it absolutely matters who you work with. I promise you that these are the people that you need to be working with to give your clients, friends, and yourself the peace of mind you need in this crazy climate us Californians now find ourselves in. UPDATE: Since this experience above, they have assisted in insuring my another home of mine, my commercial auto policy, and workers comp for my business as well. They are a one stop shop and blow the rest our of the water with their communication and professionalism. Thank you

I worked w Jessica Connally and found her a bright ray of sunshine compared to many agents. Not only was she very responsive she was also incredibly knowledgeable providing many ideas and choices for coverge. When Jessica was not available there was always a team member who could jump in to cover. I highly recommend this agency.

We have been helping my neighbor who had his van stolen and the process has been ridiculous! Our 80 year old neighbor has dementia and especially around the holidays as he is lonely with no family we were trying to help him find his can or get a new one. He is difficult to work with because of his disease but have some extra patience! So my husband and I were trying to help our neighbor. We got ahold of the office and they called to go in and fill out a form. Okay! We say---it's stormy stormy weather so my husband drives our neighbor down---and uh oh!! The woman didn't tell us we needed to bring the form ourselves. So they sent us home-we went and rummaged through this old mans house, found the form, and went in and filled it out with the agent again. They said everything was good and we went home, excited our neighbor would have his vehicle back soon. I got a phone call Tuesday before Christmas telling me they didn't fill out the form all the way and wanted to send the form to my house instead of the neighbors. I called the day after Christmas and talked to a new guy instead of the normal gal we were working with. This guy, Juan was not helpful. He reminded me it was frustrating to work with our neighbor and was complaining about having to serve him--I reminded Juan to give him a break Bc he has dementia and that's why he calls confused. I also asked him why we needed to go visit the office a third time for the same form. He just said it wasn't filled out properly. Funny enough--if it wasn't filled out properly, why was it sent the first time? I asked that exact question to Juan who then with attitude told me to call claims myself if I wanted to know the answer. I asked him if that was his job to do--and he said yes it was, but he was going to give me the option instead to call. So I asked him if he could call and let me know what they said. Again he said I could call if I wanted to know the answer. I asked him why I would call when it was his job--and he said "well sometimes they don't work on Fridays." What a joke! Thankfully claims called and we don't have to deal with this office for awhile. Although Chris was so very helpful--you have to deal with customer service people who don't want to go above and beyond to help you! Yay on Chris Nay on Juan! 48/100
