I requested a quote in February and received a follow up text in March asking if I was still interested in booking. The quote was fair so I booked a one way from what I thought was the Manhattan Cruise to home. Turns out both my pickup and drop off addresses were incorrect. Archi handled my changes and questions with grace and courtesy. Our driver, Yaffie waited patiently due to a delay in disembarking. Our ride home was smooth enough to take a nap. 1 STAR - WARNING: MY EXPERIENCE MATCHES THE "SCAM" REVIEWS I hired Archi from this company for a 3 day private driver service in New York and prepaid $2,500. Two days before my trip, my flight to New York was cancelled due to a blizzard. His own website clearly states that customers are entitled to a refund in this situation. When I requested the refund based on his written policy, he immediately became hostile and began sending aggressive messages saying I would not be refunded. The tone and volume of the messages were completely unprofessional and honestly alarming. Instead of honoring the policy on his own website, he repeatedly harassed us over text. To avoid further issues, we rescheduled our trip two weeks later and he confirmed he would provide the service we already paid for. Then our flight was delayed by ONE HOUR. After that one hour delay, Archi suddenly claimed we owed him $15,000 for "wasting his time." This was never mentioned in any agreement, contract, or policy. He began sending more aggressive messages demanding this amount. At that point it became very clear something was not right. After digging deeper, I noticed something concerning. The Google reviews for this company are almost all perfect 5 star reviews that read extremely generic and similar to each other. Meanwhile the Yelp reviews are significantly lower and describe experiences very similar to mine, including accusations of scams and aggressive behavior. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage anyone considering this service to do thorough research and communicate only in writing. I have screenshots of all messages and policies referenced above. What a seamless airport pickup process! I booked online, received a confirmation email, sent flight details via email, and the first text I received when I landed at my destination was from the driver who said he has arrived to pick me up! I didn't need to call and confirm, didn't need to wonder where my driver was when I arrived at the airport, I didn't need to do anything except book online and give them my flight details over email. Driver was excellent in giving us directions on where to meet him since part of La Guardia is under construction. Got us to the hotel on time for check-in and helped with our large suitcases. Addendum 6/22/2015 These guys keep texting me to remove my negative review. How can I - not only do they not pick me up but, to add insult to injury, they charge my AMEX $126.79. I called AMEX and told them that I want full credit as I never received this service. It took more than 30 days to receive credit. How can I support such an organization? Given the way the Manager (Owner?) conducted himself, I can not remove my negative review; instead, I ask that he works hard to: 1. Provide stellar customer service to his clients; 2. Absolutely wonderful service! My flight was initially cancelled so Archi, the manager, agreed to rebook me for another date without any hesitation. When I landed the driver, Daego, called me right away to confirm a location for the pick-up. I was expecting to be picked up in a normal black car however I was delightfully surprised to find a stretch Lincoln MKT waiting to pick me up. We hired NY City Limo for round trip service btwn JFK & our mid-town hotel for our week long stay in NYC. Communication before pick-up was excellent + drivers were prompt, courteous, and drove safely on the expressway and also in-town. Also appreciated that both vehicles were spotless, inside and out. We were even treated to an upgrade in vehicles on both rides, without an additional charge, simply because those were the vehicles assigned to our reservation. After my post, and a review via email the company got back to me. They offered me back half of our purchase. I took it, because something is better than nothing. I am happy they did that much, as our experience was so bad, I really expected to not hear back from the company at all. Though a full refund makes more sense (as nothing we asked for was done). This was the email I sent to this company after the horrendous service I and 19 others experienced this past weekend. I do NOT recommend this company. Look elsewhere. To Whom it May Concern, I'm writing to discuss a recent experience I had with your limo company. This past weekend, I was scheduled to have a limo from 9pm-12am. Unfortunately, the time I spent with it was, put simply, wretched. For starters, the driver was an hour and 15 minutes late. When I spoke with him on the phone and directed him multiple times, he hung up before he had the location correct. When he finally arrived, I gave him $900 - the price I was given over the phone. He proceeded to tell me it wasn't enough and that it didn't include tip. To me, this indicates poor communication between the company and the driver. I shouldn't have had to explain myself to the driver, nor feel guilty about whether I had given enough money. Also, I worked out a deal with the driver seeing as he was so late. I had a reservation at 12 so there was no point in getting an extra hour right after seeing as I wouldn't be able to use it. Therefore, the driver called the company and we agreed that they would take us back to Long Island at the end of the evening. Prior to entering the limo, the driver informed me that the amp was broken and therefore, we would be unable to listen to the music loudly. I asked if he could play it up front and he said he could and that it would be loud. To our disappointment, no music was able to be played - which was half of the limo experience. Not only was the amp not working, the AC was also not working. On a 90 degree summer night, the passengers in the limo was forced to sit in humidity, trading places at the window to make the ride more bearable. To make matters even worse, the limo was not stocked with alcohol as was promised. I called the company yet again to discuss this and they informed me that we would have it in 15 minutes. The limo never stopped for alcohol and we spent the ride in the limo without it. I paid to have alcohol in the limo so this was unacceptable. At the end of our evening, on the ride home, we called the company to ask for some sort of refund for the poor service we received. Instead of working something out, he told us we would be charged another $400 for bringing us home. Again, this just exemplifies the terrible communication between the company and the driver. While we were negotiating, the man on the phone was rude, insulting, mean, and hung up on multiple occasions. We never received a refund. The customer service was beyond terrible. The limo services themselves were horrendous and for those reasons, I will NEVER be using your services ever again. You may think that I'm just one customer who won't be coming back but an online review goes a long way, as does a very strong network within New York City. Your company has made me a very unhappy customer and you ruined an event that I'd been looking forward to for months. I hope you regret the terrible service you provided us all with and will see the repercussions for it in the future. read more

AVOID!! SCAM! would give 0 stars if allowed. Actually never had to use their service. The night before my limo trip, Archie (owner) called saying he did not have the right sized car for our group. Then tried to up-sell me 2 smaller limos, for double the price. After cancelling, he then still charged my CC. After 25+ phone calls, with no refund, I checked out their fake office space on 5th ave. TOTAL SCAM. no tenant in building has ever heard of them, and not listed in directory. So they charged me for a ride I never took (much less signed a CC receipt), added gratuity, then balked at refunding, claiming the owner is out of the country. So how exactly would they accept payment from customers willing to pay, if this Archie character is always unavailable, and the only one able to process payments?? Needless to say, AVOID, and hope the BBB or T&LC shuts these clowns down. Zero integrity and business acumen. Too bad I noticed after I called it was spelt LOMOUSINE on part of their website. A wonderful experience from start to finish! I reserved a big limo for my bachelorette party less than a week before, and they were able to accommodate us. The driver, Mario, was on time, professional, and just so nice. One of my friends left the sash to her jacket in the limo, and he offered to mail it back to her! Then my point of contact for booking the reservation was Archi, and he was great to deal with. I emailed him to confirm the day of, and he got back to me very promptly. I am also particularly impressed with the company because the credit card I used for the reservation got blocked and cancelled right before they charged it. However, Archi still sent the limo for us on time and called me to explain what had happened and get another form of payment. Thank you so much for an awesome night!
