Hubbard Ave. Diner is as Americana as you can get. The food is all made daily on site. They're known for all their pies. Thru offer different varieties dept ding in the season. All the food was good and service was nice. They offer meatloaf, burgers and fish fry Fridays typical to diners along with a decent menu. The popover rolls were served warm with butter! I liked that they chilled the salad plate and greens were nice and crisp. The turkey dinner was good and wholesome with a really good cranberry relish. The broasted 1/2 chicken was good too. We split a slice of caramel apple pie and I can say I loved it as the crust was really flaky!

We had lunch at this retro diner during a recent trip to Madison and weren't disappointed. My wife enjoyed her turkey and trimmings meal and my fish fry was good. The fish was fried in old oil which kept it from being very good. The fries were pretty nice though. Our server kept our glasses refilled and the food was delivered quickly. The missus does love a good mash and gravy and wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere was busy but not too noisy to enjoy a quiet talk across the table. We have been here before and the food is consistently good.

This diner is super cute with quick and efficient service. We were greeted at the door with a smile and seated fairly quickly, especially for a Saturday during brunch time. The chocolate chip pancakes were tasty--though I wish they had a bit more chocolate mixed in. The farmer's skillet was delicious as well, hearty and satisfying. Everything here felt very classic diner, in the best way. Overall, we had a lovely brunch experience and I'd definitely love to come back to try the pies next time!

I've been several times now across a couple months and their service is consistently amazing. There's a reason they're famous for their pie, and it's because their pies are decadent and filling across the board. The rest of the food is also worth getting; real comfort dishes.

I stopped by for dinner on a Friday evening. Luckily I got the last seat. Duo of silk pie was my favorite item here. It had a nice peanut butter layer and a chocolate layer. I also went for a cherry pie milkshake. I think cherry pie and milkshake makes a wierd combination. I should have gone for some other pie, or may be a regular milk shake. Grilled Salmon platter was my favorite entree. Friday fish fry was good as well. It came with a soft bread which I throughly enjoyed.

Such a cute diner in Middleton and a good location! Excellent food with a very wide menu selection. Service here was great, definitely need to come back!

Finished off the main course but saved room for French Silk Pie for dessert! Delicious!

What a great place to eat! Many great options for meals with breakfast any time and always save room for dessert with so many delicious pies and other sweet treats! A cute place to eat with quick and friendly service and plenty of nearby parking! Love eating here!

Seemed like the bar area was hopping for lunch time on a Saturday, so that was a good sign. We realized after we had ordered they were doing a meat raffle, so that's always a fun addition. This place is large and open, and separated by the bar and seating area, as well as a pool table area. We snagged a spot and a waitress came over to take our order in a timely manner. She dealt with us changing our orders several times without batting an eye. We all ended up with their cheeseburgers. I got the bacon cheeseburger with fried onions (missed those if they were on the menu!) and I enjoyed how buttery the bun was and soft as well! I would say overall a solid enjoyable burger. We also got cheese curds and the broccoli bites for the table and both of those were a great addition. We also did the family sized cajun fries and those were a hit as well. Paul's does bar food well, and I'd stop back here given the chance again!

The cocktail menu had excellent choices as well. They were accommodating to our dairy free request. Every dish was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were perfect. The Mac with the short ribs had a bit of spice I wasn't expecting but tasted great. The elote was also spicy! Overall I'd recommend this restaurant however I'd warn it's not the French restaurant it was a year ago and a lot of the pics shown on Yelp are not offered anymore.

Special hats off to our server who allowed us to grab a table in the back. A cute and homey interior with random artwork-it was loud with the full house. An eclectic menu which leans southwestern offers a decent variety of dishes although vegetarians might not have too many options. I wasn't that hungry so opted for the biscuits and the poblano risotto. The chef doesn't hold back on the flavor-bold, spicy, intense. The biscuits were dipped in a smoked chili butter and honey-best eaten with a fork. The risotto was well prepared although a little soupy. Again, big bold flavors. Opted for the house made carrot cake-it didn't disappoint. One of the best I've had. Definitely a place I will come back to as it's a 7 minute walk from home.
