After some disappointment with some aftersales support and questions Bill the GM called and did his best to make things right. The salesman who dropped the ball on numerous things apparently doesn't work here any longer so I don't foresee others having the same issues I did. I purchased the car site unseen and out of state, which is something that I would not normally recommend. However, Emily Bowman definitely made my experience worth it. I explained everything that I was looking for, she listened and she matched me with MY Perfect Car. EVERYONE says it was made just for ME. We had to do everything via email or text, she sent me videos of the car and kept me updated throughout the whole process. I felt like we became best friends. Back again! This time for service on an Alfa Romeo, which is very difficult to get serviced outside of an Alfa Romeo dealership. They took Great care of everything quickly and were able to reset the maintenance minders that require special equipment, generally only available at the dealership. Being preapproved through my credit union we decided to stop in and see a Toyota that was sitting on the lot, sales person came out was very cordial and we test drove the vehicle. Interested in the vehicle we sat down to further the procedure. I had offered an amount slightly under the asking price so the salesman got his manager and it went downhill from there. No customer service, very " condescending " when he spoke (at) me and his voice got louder and louder till everyone turned to look at him. Very unprofessional with a egotistic personality that does not uplift his "30 years in the profession" as he proclaimed. Thought this was a good experience until I called Huber this morning. I was paying cash and had not anticipated buying a car that very day. Found a car I liked, but needed to transfer funds to cover check. I was goni g to come back and finish sale after funds transferred. However, tehy suggested I write a check and they would hold until funds transferred to my account. I agreed and said I would call when ok to deposit check. When I called this morning to say ok to go ahead I learned they had completely ignored what was agreed to and had already deposited check. Buyer BEWARE! read more

AGGRESSIVE SALES TACTICS, THEY WILL BERATE YOU. I visited this place today to look at a Volvo. I drove nearly two hours so I was fairly serious about it. Once I got there, everybody was friendly and getting ready to test the car was very easy. I drove it from ~12:30 until 3:45. This is a long test drive, but I have always driven cars for that long before buying them without any hassle. When I got back, they said they were a bit worried because I had taken so long, but they had my phone number so they could have called if there was an issue. At that point, we sat down to run the numbers which were fairly agreeable, but at that point, I just did not have a good gut feeling about the car. They said they did not understand why and they probed me for information, trying to counter my arguments. THEY WOULD NOT LET IT GO. The manager even walked in and continued to play a guilt trip on me. I felt like I was in middle school and I was in the principals office. A customer should never be treated like that! They sent me on my way with "we hope to earn your business again." They will never earn my business, and hopefully nobody else's. A place where the sales representatives will belittle you if they do not get what they want.

My experience started off great as they were willing to negotiate a price on a trade in, off of the VIN and pics. Once I drove the car I was interested in I placed a deposit and called my bank for financing. That is where everything changed. My bank informed me the price was above NADA and once I signed for the loan I would have instant negative equity. That is not what you want to hear going into a loan! So I called the salesman, and his whole demeanor changed. I was told I signed a contract (untrue), and that it was a market value price and that the Jeep was rare. This would have been my 5th Jeep, no Jeep is "rare" at this point. They are all mass produced. So I ask for my deposit back and long story short, after getting the sales manager involved, calling the office manager, and dealing with the nice lady in service. My money was refunded to me 5 days after they said it was, and I had to call my bank and have an investigation for fraud started, and I still have a hard hit on my credit for financing that they said they could provide, and were wrong (no fault of mine). The sales tactics are harsh and old school. I could not even post this until the money was in my account in fear they would not refund it to me. My suggestion is to look elsewhere! I had high hopes, I'm out of state and even in the car business. Saw a vehicle I was interested in which had a mix up in the description I wanted clarification on. Couldn't tell by the pictures If the vehicle was black or dark blue. The specs said black, but the custom description said blue. I sent in an email and was contacted back with a relatively quick response. I had a few other questions that were answered. When I asked about price I was told they just dropped it and it wouldn't get any lower. I was a little disappointed, but still had some interest. They have had the car for a while so I figured I would circle back in a few days. Well less than an hour later I get an email (not from the dealership) from cars.com alerting me of some price drops. Guess what, they dropped the prices. I can see how consumers can get frustrated when car salesman play games. I don't run my store in this fashion and I take it personally when places play games. It make it increasingly harder for all the honest people in the business. My advise is to stay away and find a vehicle elsewhere. If they are willing to play games after knowing they are talking to someone in the business (no professional courtesy) then I'm fairly certain they will play games with everyone. I had a horrible experience with Huber Automotive. Purchased a car from them in April of 2020. Got me a loan for the vehicle that they sold me. The only problem was they never told me it was a closed end loan and I would be penalized if I paid it off early. After I got the car, they held onto the title for nearly a month. I couldn't get the car registered in my name because I had no title. Bank officials called it troubling. They kept my loan approval from me for over a week, so I never knew the car could be picked up. I wound up having to make my first payment after only 2 weeks driving the car. Finally got my car, and it was delivered with an empty tank. I had to run it to the station and fill it with 26 gallons of gas. What kind of a car company delivers a car with an empty tank. Then they lied and said they would send me a gas card to make up for their mistake. Never got the card This company is really screwed up. Stay away as far from them as possible read more

I don't recommend buying a vehicle or taking one for repair here. I had my vehicle hauled there due to transmission skipping gears and a tick in the engine. They were suppose to get it in on a Thursday but didn't until Monday. They had no loaner cars available so I had to rent one for work and they wouldn't reimburse me. Anyways, a week later the Service Manager calls and tells me that they can't duplicate the issues and that the scanner didn't show any codes. I asked if they drove the vehicle and she said yes. Well apparently they didn't otherwise they would have figured out the problem. So I had it towed some where else and the next day the other place told me that yes the band between 2nd and 4th gear broke. So now I am in the process of getting my transmission rebuilt by the new place. The new place said that I did the right thing by not driving it because it would have caused more metal shavings to go thru the transmission. Where as the Service Manager at Huber called and asked me why I had it towed in there to begin with. I would have thought it would have been obvious since I said there was something wrong with the transmission and a tick in the engine. I highly recommend going elsewhere to get your service done on your vehicles. The Service Manager at Huber has no clue what is going on with vehicles and apparently neither do her mechanics that work there. It seems like they just depend on the machine to tell them what is wrong instead of diagnosing things the old fashion way by driving and listening to vehicles. She also kept changing her story every time my husband or I would call and tell us different things. Very poor service and I definitely won't be returning to Huber for anything. Very incompetent mechanics and Service manager. I didn't realize I was asking too much for them to do their jobs and fix my vehicle. read more
