Me and my family love us some Jim Butner They have great people that work there and Cars are…read moremachines. We have bought several cars off them a Mitsubishi Lancer in 2021 I was on my last payment I was so happy that almost I paid it off. Then the transmission went out. I had that car about 2 1/2 years. It was a lovely car. So I called up and asked would they take the lancer for a down payment The guy says we can do that so I go down there and find a beautiful red 2014 Chevrolet Impala LTZ $194,000 Miles Gorgeous car. So we do the paperwork says we do $800 for deposit I told him I have the Mitsubishi Lancer for the down payment. He said $800 for title and the Mitsubishi for the down payment. I agreed I just needed a good running car. The car was great for 2 weeks and then it wouldn't move one morning and the transmission was out. Luckily there was 30 days warranty. They fixed it under warranty. Took 2 weeks to get approval for the warranty but I was so thankful. I get it back and I felt like something was wrong but no engine lights. So I was like I will keep a close eye on it about two weeks later the same thing happens it won't go into gear and also is not under warranty anymore. I am upset at the situation. I had my lancer that was almost payed off now I have a dead car that I have allot of payments on. Parked dead outside. About a week passes and the car gets picked up. So I go there to drop off the key and see if possible to get into another car so the lot guy opens the gate and says what happened I said car broke and lady inside says car going to auction. He laughed and says that car is not going to Auction. I said it wasn't running and needs transmission fixed. The lady says it goes to auction in a couple days and we have to see wait and see what it does there and then we can get you into something else. We wait a week and as we pull in red impala is being sold to a customer. We ask about another car and he says we will need 3 times the normal deposit because of the Impala's not being paid off.

BUYER BEWARE SOME of the vehicles sold by this business…read moremay have pre-existing conditions. I purchased a Subaru at the end of January and it had 3 issues. First, the air conditioner did not work because it was void of freon plus the fact that the oring seal on the high pressure side wasn't the right one so the product all leaked out. They paid for this item which was odd. Second it had a major issue with valve body malfunction which in turn set off the dashboard lights disabling many safety features including eyesight and even cruise control. This is a problem with some Subarus. I was even requested the 2nd week of February not to take it to Subaru without discussing with the seller dealership. If you keep driving the vehicle like this with the dashboard lights activating the transmission can be ruined. They suggested taking to Big O tire who don't work on transmissions. All they do is clear the secondary codes which eventually come back. The rear brakes also had only 2mm pad left which is at a critical safety limit and need immediate replacement. It's a good thing I took it to a Subaru Dealership. It cost over 3K to fix these issues. The seller dealership just sat on their hands. Implied that it should be taken to Big O tires, right!? The tires were even under inflated to boot. Vehicles like this shouldn't be on the market without being inspected and/or fixed beforehand. As-is is one thing but this is absurd. If you do want to make offer on a vehicle it's a feasible idea to have THEM take it to a dealership to be inspected first. "We will make this right" is what was stated to me.

Let's truly set the record straight sir. Let's start with why wasn't Richard fired for talking to a…read morecustomer like that? I had to bring the jeep back to your establishment 4 times for the SAME leaking cooling system. Finally had to take it to Bails Jeep Chrysler in Jeffersonville where it did need to have the radiator replaced, which amazingly fixed the coolant leak that you "bent over backwards", just to keep lying to me and drop the ball FOUR times. For the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. I can get a copy of the repair from them to substantiate this as proof of my claim if you're in any doubt. Was screwing me around or screwing me over to make the sale on an OBVIOUS LEMON really worth all the BS everyone involved had to go through? Even my wife was mad because she had to pick me up and drop me off TEN TIMES from a crappy mechanic that couldn't find a simple coolant leak at the radiator! I had to borrow a pressure tester to find the leak myself show you how to do your job. Also, no matter what I said or how I said it, because yes, I was mad. Regardless, Richard, (haha, fitting name) was completely wrong and out of line for physically charging at me, threatening to kick my ass, like he intended to rip my head off while screaming in my face. Classy customer service, considering I never threatened him or anyone else. Did he ever attend any anger management classes? I hope he gets the help he needs. Seemed like a nice guy, when he wasn't being a Richard. Bottom line, that was a horrible way to treat anyone and you'll never get another dime from me for another sale! Wish we'd have never walked through your door and never will again! Can't believe you're still in business!!!
