My mother has dementia, and this experience has caused her tremendous stress and anxiety. I am her caregiver, and before her vehicle was even dropped off at Coyle Chevrolet, I was already emailing Dave and leaving voicemails explaining that I needed to handle communication and decisions regarding her vehicle. I was also trying to give them important information about one of the mechanical problems so they would know what to investigate when the vehicle arrived. Because they would not return my calls or meaningfully respond to my voicemails and emails, that issue went unresolved and my mother's vehicle sat at Coyle Chevrolet for over a month while they struggled to figure out what was wrong. What makes that especially frustrating is that the vehicle had already been at Oxmoor Auto Group, where the issue involving the unusual noise and gasoline leak was identified and we were given information about where the problem appeared to be. I was trying to give Coyle that information from the very beginning. Instead, they told my mother there was nothing wrong with the area I was describing, later said they could not figure out what was wrong or why the vehicle would not start, and eventually, after more than a month, investigated the exact area I had been telling them about. That was where the gasoline leak was coming from. If another automotive group can identify the problem, while Coyle has the vehicle for more than a month and ultimately finds the issue in the exact place I had been trying to tell them to look from the beginning, that tells you everything you need to know about why I would not take a vehicle to Coyle Chevrolet. And they cannot claim they simply did not know I was trying to reach them. I was already emailing directly with Dave regarding paperwork needed for them to work on the vehicle. I repeatedly left messages specifically for him. Dave even acknowledged to my mother that he was receiving my emails and voicemails, yet he still did not call me. My mother repeatedly told them, including service advisor Tyler, that I was her caregiver, that I needed to handle this, and gave them my phone number. That lack of communication had financial consequences. We already knew the battery was failing. It had already been diagnosed, and we had already paid for a replacement battery. Had they communicated with me, I would have immediately told them not to perform another battery diagnostic. Instead, my mother was charged approximately $500 for diagnostic work and another $250 for a battery. She now owes more than $2,000 for this vehicle. Had I actually been included in these conversations as I repeatedly requested, our family could have reviewed those costs and decided whether continuing to put this much money into the vehicle even made sense. We could have chosen not to proceed and put that money toward purchasing her another vehicle instead. When I finally got someone on the phone and tried to address everything that had happened, I expected someone to say, at minimum, "I'm sorry this happened. Let me get a manager involved." No one did. I was transferred to Tyler, whom I still could not reach. When I called back and ultimately spoke with Dave, he talked in circles, would not acknowledge the concerns I was raising, offered no meaningful apology, and never offered to connect me with a manager. Then Dave told me, essentially: "How was I supposed to know? Your mother seems fine to me." That comment was deeply disturbing. Dementia does not have a particular look. Someone can carry on a conversation while still struggling with memory, judgment, processing information, financial decisions, and stressful situations. More importantly, Dave did not need to personally decide whether my mother "seemed" like she had dementia. I had already told him. This entire situation is exactly why I was trying to protect my mother by handling these conversations in the first place. Instead, she spent more than a month extremely anxious and distressed over her vehicle, ended up owing more than $2,000, and I spent that month trying to get employees to simply return my calls, listen to information that could have helped them diagnose the vehicle much sooner, and communicate with the caregiver they had repeatedly been told to contact. And when I finally confronted them about it? No accountability. No manager. No meaningful apology. Just transfers, circular conversations, and excuses. Families caring for someone with dementia should not have to fight this hard to protect their loved one. Based on the way my mother was treated, the unnecessary stress and expense, the month-long communication failure, and the complete lack of accountability afterward, I absolutely do not recommend Coyle Chevrolet.

I had to bring the jeep back to your establishment 4 times for the SAME leaking cooling system. Finally had to take it to Bails Jeep Chrysler in Jeffersonville where it did need to have the radiator replaced, which amazingly fixed the coolant leak that you "bent over backwards", just to keep lying to me and drop the ball FOUR times. For the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. I can get a copy of the repair from them to substantiate this as proof of my claim if you're in any doubt. Was screwing me around or screwing me over to make the sale on an OBVIOUS LEMON really worth all the BS everyone involved had to go through? Even my wife was mad because she had to pick me up and drop me off TEN TIMES from a crappy mechanic that couldn't find a simple coolant leak at the radiator! I had to borrow a pressure tester to find the leak myself show you how to do your job. Also, no matter what I said or how I said it, because yes, I was mad. Regardless, Richard, (haha, fitting name) was completely wrong and out of line for physically charging at me, threatening to kick my ass, like he intended to rip my head off while screaming in my face. Classy customer service, considering I never threatened him or anyone else. Did he ever attend any anger management classes? I hope he gets the help he needs. Seemed like a nice guy, when he wasn't being a Richard. Bottom line, that was a horrible way to treat anyone and you'll never get another dime from me for another sale! Wish we'd have never walked through your door and never will again! Can't believe you're still in business!!!

Upkeep and maintenance the keys to keeping your Nissan happy!…read more We are new to the area, so after getting here the Nissan that we purchased in Vegas needed its required oil change. We are only dealing with the service department for this visit. Now the appointments here need to be made in advance. This service department is extremely busy. Make sure and have an appointment it's always busy and truly appreciated for your car to be serviced on time. Now in addition to the routine oil change the service department recommended daily driver up keep. We selected the service department ideas to keep the car at the best possible pace. While they were performing this routine maintenance a part failed and the service and department manager called to inform me of the situation. We actually needed the car as they had promised by the end of the day. But some times things happen, so they let us a loaner vehicle while they repaired our vehicle. They were so thoughtful. We were thrilled. Now when the Nissan needs its routine repaired maintenance or other wise it's going to come here. Until the next time Coyle . Thank you for making our visit so exciting. We were grateful for your kindness and support in ensuring our Nissan has the best possible outcome.
