Everything came out really fast and the presentation was on point! Our server recommended the burrito and it comes with this incredible cilantro and garlick-y sauce that is great on everything savory. I couldn't get enough of it! There's a new spot in the neighborhood, and I have to say--it's off to a great start! The location is super convenient, with plenty of parking and a really walkable area that's easy to get to. The food? Absolutely delicious. The menu is packed with fun and unique options, which made it hard to pick--but in the best way! We tried the stuffed French toast with Nutella and strawberries, and it was heavenly--sweet, rich, and so satisfying. We also had the lumberjack skillet, which was a total winner. It's a big, hearty dish with bacon, sausage, avocado, and this amazing green chimichurri sauce. If you're hungry, this is the dish for you! The servers were so kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only hiccup was the host at the front door, who didn't seem super welcoming--maybe it was just a busy day. The space itself has a nice vibe, but the seating is pretty tight when the place fills up. It's not a dealbreaker, but you might feel a little cramped during peak hours. Can't wait for the weather to be warm so we can eat outdoors. They have an awesome patio. Service is friendly and 5 stars. I ordered The Pastrami. It was a lil pricey for the size of the sandwich in my opinion ($11). Don't get me wrong though. The sandwich was great! The bread looked and tasted artisan. Soft and unlike any ciabatta I've ever tried. Pastrami and eggs were hot and flavorful. The white sauce had a hint of horseradish. I wish it had more of that pungent kick from horseradish, but it did elevate the sandwich flavor wise. I'd like to try more menu items here. read more

This breakfast food truck is Venezuelan-inspired and their burritos are so delicious - made with shredded pork, beans, cheese, tater tots, pico de gallo, egg. Their green sauce is AMAZING, and each order comes with a green sauce. Get extra, you'll need it. You can also request for their breakfast items to be made vegetarian. I added avocado to mine. Their burritos are packed with ingredients - when we took our orders out of the take out bag we were shocked at how heavy they were. Other breakfast burritos can sometimes be lacking in ingredients and flavor, but these burritos have the perfect bite from start to finish. The perfect amount of ingredients, and the perfect amount of flavor! It's a food truck in the Com Com Kitchen parking lot, so I've personally ordered my items to-go, but they do have a couple of tables and chairs outside of the truck. So today we stopped here because we remember that we really liked them. So I kind of ordered one of everything. I got the bacon sandwhich because it was and always will be Devine. Then I got a quesadilla for my kids. They will totally eat that. Wrong. This is not a children's quesadilla. It was such a fantastic cheesy meaty work of art that I traded my favorite sandwhich for the quesadilla. My wife got the burrito and it has perfect. We got the stuffed French toast and it was everything you would expect. I tried the monte cristo sandwhich and their jam was fantastic and paired with the sandwich perfectly. One of the best breakfast spots in SLC. Probably the best burrito too. Also that French toast flight is other worldly, definitely worth doing extra cardio for. Service was great too, may only suggestion is that they invest in an espresso machine, because that suits best the demographic they are attracting. I don't usually think breakfast burritos are usually a thing worth paying for (and I'm usually not up that early) but I woke up hungover nearby them one morning and stumbled by their truck and bought one to fill the greasy hole in my soul and it changed my opinion on the matter. I was away from home in SLC this morning and had the Lumberjack at Skillets near Liberty Park. I was there early and really enjoyed a peaceful meal outside. The food was amazing...so much better than I could have done at home. It looked and smelled great the instant my server brought it out. I forgot to take a photo...couldn't wait to take first bite! The flavors were even better than the "sense-appeal". The portion was generous, the cost was reasonable and my server was super chill. Skillets also serves a really nice cup of coffee! The fried egg was perfectly runny. That steak was so juicy and flavorful. Sauce was amazing, could drink it. 12/10. The absolute perfect breakfast. Venezuelan Rice Bowl - Venezuelan steak, rice, beans, and coleslaw. Whatever dressing they put on their coleslaw has to have crack in it because it was the BEST coleslaw we have ever had. I will be dreaming about it forever. This dish was the perfect combination of warm & cold, soft & crunchy. Such an amazing lunch. 10/10. Service was super quick! Had our food within 5-7ish minutes of ordering. Staff was awesome - very kind, gave great recommendations. Location was awesome. The shredded beef had good flavor and with eggs and fresh pico...bomb! My daughter got the French toast and it was killer too! Fresh berries and the syrup wasn't the usual but so yum! Stumbled upon Skillets for lunch when passing through Salt Lake City. We ordered the quesadilla and pastrami sandwich and both hit the spot after a long morning traveling. The quesadilla was LOADED with steak and super tasty. It was so big I couldn't finish it. My husband thought the egg on the pastrami sandwich was weird, but in a good way and was really happy he tried it! I will be honest; I only stopped at this Skillet because I was buying random plates from various food trucks to share with family, but man oh man, did it hit the spot. We got the venezuelan bowl with beef, rice, beans, and coleslaw, and it was fantastic. The food was extremely fresh, and the shredded beef piping hot and tender with a slightly smoky flavor. The Stuffed French toast had Nutella and strawberries between two prices of Texas toast French toast. A thick vanilla crème over top with a sugar glaze syrup to pour on top of that. This was delicious. The Skillet was really good. Tater tots, fried egg, avocado, and Venezuelan shredded meat. It came with a side of cilantro sauce that I really enjoyed, but my friend did not. The meat is incredible. Everything tasted fresh, well, as fresh as tater tots can I guess. The burrito was the same thing as the skillet except it had pico on it. Never have I and my friends been so rudely and poorly treated in a restaurant. Our meal was abruptly interrupted by an employee who demanded that we leave because there was a group reservation and our table was necessary to seat them. At the time, it may have been possible to politely ask if we were willing to be seated at a different table or counter, or at the least presented with a reasonable option. Before I put it to bed though I has to have at least one or two fresh bites. Well that one or two became 5. It delivered on every front. The one I fully ate that night was The Pastrami. I don't think it even stood a chance to be left overs. The Pastrami was perfection and it rolled into flavor town on the rosemary ciabatta chariot armed with a white sauce designed to tantalize your taste buds. The presentation fo their restaurant and food itself is incredible and very thoughtful, down to the fact they have a hook on the edge of the table for your purse in the outdoor seating area. Literally the best breakfast restaurant I've been to.
