So I drove down there, and I noticed that was quite busy, and I would take note that this place is especially busy for what it is. I put my name on the list. The bacon is absolutely scrumdiddily. It is INSANELY good, seriously. Noah is an icon, he's the best. Ask for him and you won't be disappointed. Went to Huckleberry's Breakfast & Lunch for the 1st time and it was absolutely fantastic. I had Ham & Eggs and it was cooked just right and the ham had an awesome taste. My wife had the chicken fried steak and eggs and it was so big she took half of it home. The service was very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was great too. Ok, I was really looking forward to trying this place, I should have looked at the menu again before going so that I would know that the lunch menu is very limited. Hubby got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and he really liked it. I didn't really see anything on the lunch menu that really peaked my interest so ended-up getting the Steak Melt, which was missing the Onion Tanlgers, the bar-b-que sauce on it was super sweet and tried to remove as much of it as I could. I might have eaten about half the sandwich. Fries are okay, just frozen fries with a little bit of seasoning. Not really as "cajun" as they claim, food is on par with other chain restaurants. Sometimes you're just in the mood for a good breakfast! I've heard good things about Huckleberry's Breakfast & Lunch Restaurant and figured today was the day to give it a try. The Keller site has ample parking and the building gives off a very professional appearance. I was greeted the moment I walked in the door and welcomed a couple more times before making it to my booth. The interior was clean and neat, and the aroma of cooking breakfast and hot coffee was very inviting. My server was right there and took my order for coffee. She went through the menu with me and made some recommendations that were spot-on for my tastes. I settled on the Mississippi Skillet and it was delicious! All the things I like in a skillet breakfast; ham, bacon, sausage, bell peppers, onions, potatoes, eggs, mushrooms, and topped off with Monterey Jack cheese. They even had may favorite Orange Marmalade for my sourdough toast! My coffee cup was refilled upon request, and I was even offered a to-go cup if desired. Very good Cajun/bayou themed breakfast joint just opened in Keller. I had the Bananas Foster French toast which came with fried green tomatoes, eggs, protein of choice. It was delicious. There was so many choices for breakfast and lunch, it's a bit daunting to choose just one. I'll definitely be back soon to try more. What a welcome change to the breakfast offerings in Keller. Pretty unique breakfast combinations inspired by Louisiana cuisine. I've never seen eggs and shrimp together. My son ordered the special bananas Foster French toast that came with two fried green tomatoes, eggs, and bacon. He loved it, but beware the portions are pretty big, this could easily have been split between two people. For those of you who are not adventurous, they do offer a make your own omelette plate that comes with your choice of potatoes, toast, biscuit, or muffin. I tried the café mocha and found it delightful, next time I may see if they have a sugar-free option. These are definitely the best fried green tomatoes I've ever tried would give the place a 4.5 if that were an option. Service was quick, the place was clean, and everyone was very polite and helpful. read more

Service was excellent. I so wanted to love this new breakfast spot but we were disappointed. My husband had a waffle which was dry and could have passed for a hotel waffle. My daughter had a veggie omelette that had barely cooked veggies and they were mostly on top outside the omelette. I had two eggs fried hard with taters and toast. Eggs were drenched in grease, taters were not cooked hard red taters. We ordered a huckleberry muffin to try and it was very dry. I can say the waitress and hostess were the best thing there.
