First time trying this location. Although it was packed and people waiting it took about 15 mins to get seated. A different concept... unique menu and a different ambiance inside. This is a cute Keller brunch place. I was a little disappointed that the cappuccino machine was broken because I was looking forward to a "fancy" coffee but the drip was ok. Service was good and quick. I enjoyed the stuffed French toast even though it's not "stuffed". It had a small amount of cream in between but barely could tell it was there but it was still good. My husband's skillet scramble was a huge portion and was really good. The muffin was a little dry. We will definitely go back and try some other items other varied menu. read more

Ugh I wanted it to be so good. My hopes were so high and this is why I did the uber eats order. It arrived early. I am maybe 4 to 5 min away on main in keller. Food was less than yummy. Monte Cristo cold falling apart weird I thought batter kept sandwich together. Fries lp and cold. Beignets soft and not fully cooked in middle was hoping to have a great beignet like Cafe du monde. I got the chicken fried steak platter and my wife got the crab cake Benedict both with red potatoes. I wasn't impressed with what I got. The breading they used for the steak wasn't that good. The taste reminded me of Grandy's. I wonder if it is a frozen patty. Instead of giving you one piece of steak they give you two halves. Now to the potatoes, they are seasoned. However, parts of the red were raw and slightly crunchy not in a good way. My wife said her Crab Benedict was good and had a lot of crab in her dish. Tasted great except the rawish potatoes. Came here on a Sunday morning. I was honestly expecting it to be packed since everyone brunches on a Sunday, but we were seated right away (though it did still look full). We only waited a couple minutes and our waiter kept apologizing for making us wait so long (perhaps I have RBF). We ordered and he told us since they're busy that it might take a while for the food to come out, but it came out so quickly! Everything was delicious. The two of us had a Mardi Gras special. We stopped in here to wait out a storm and were surprised how all the staff was so warm and welcoming. The ambiance was fun. Kids loved it. I felt like I was in the Tiana movie. The food was fantastic. Best pancakes we have tried. French toast as great. Great cup of coffee (and I'm picky with coffee). We had a couple chicken dishes, the chicken tenders and the sandwich. Both we would order again. It wasn't processed. It was real chicken and fresh. We want to come back and try more! The hostess has been very attentive each time I've gone and the service was very good even when they seemed very busy. It's a very creative environment with cool decorations everywhere you look. Went there for breakfast, service was excellent. My son had the breakfast that had eggs, bacon and pancakes, he said the pancake was very good. I had the same with French toast which I thought was dry, did not soak long enough. I would not recommend that. Portions are not large as some say as I am a light eater and I ate it all. I think for too expensive for the quality and quantity of food. Coffee was very weak, like mine stronger, but everyone is cutting corners so that is probably why. read more

Their beignets aren't beignets. If you've eaten one in NOLA you will be very disappointed. Not light airy pillows with powdered sugar, instead they are heavy doughy fried balls with fruit sauces. The staff was super friendly and got us to a booth, lots of booths and tables for everyone to chose from. I got a Waffle with Huckleberry topping and was a little disappointed that their waffles and pancakes don't come with a typical savory side, like bacon or sausage, I couldn't even find it on the menu. The waffle was really good, crispy and fresh, hubs got a skillet meal with sausage, eggs, biscuits, and red potatoes, he really liked it. I did feel that their prices are a premium price, a waffle was more than $10 one waffle. I struggled with whether to leave 3 or 4 stars, decided to go with 3 based on the food. Friend and I met for lunch on a weekday. It was busy but we were seated right away by a super sweet hostess. When the restaurant is full you can't hear yourself think, the noise level is crazy. As people left it did get better. We each ordered a cocktail, Bloody Mary and a huckleberry mimosa. The Mary was run of the mill, not bad but nothing elevated about it. The mimosa was so sweet my friend had to add ice to cut the sweetness. For food we got fried green tomatoes (sauce was good, crisp was good, the tomatoes themselves didn't have too much flavor), spicy chicken sandwich ('eh. Wouldn't order it again) and grilled chicken sandwich (basic). We shared beignets for dessert and agreed that it was the best dish of the day. The service was good, so many different people came to our table it was confusing to figure out who our actual server was. All in all, we both agreed that we most likely would cross this one off our list in future. For the price point ($63), it just wasn't enough flavor return on investment to try again. Came here with the husband for breakfast the portions are huge, the food was pretty good and the prices were also. The customer service though was not the best. We walked in and asked for a booth (there were plenty open) and the host kind of smacked her teeth and said um I'll see. She took us to a booth then moved us over to another one. Then the waitress seems pretty annoyed we were there. It was kinda weird because it was like 8 am and too early to be so bothered. You wouldn't think shrimp would belong in eggs, but I'm now a believer that it does. Service was quick considering they just opened. Wish I could remember our servers name, she was so sweet and attentive! The place definitely had a Louisiana vibe, I just wish they also equally advertised the "California twist" they have, because my friend was thrown off about some things on the menu until I explained that. We ordered to go for lunch. Nothing we ordered was edible. Seriously. After a few bites, we threw $50 worth of food away. Worst food we've had in a very long time. The steak sandwich had pieces that couldn't be chewed. I asked for the fries to be extra crispy. They were underdone. We also ordered Tom's something breakfast. The chicken fried steak wasn't edible.
