Service is both good and bad. We've had phenomenal service and We've also had okay service here. The ambiance is very laid back and casual since you're going to get down and dirty with your food. We enjoy the crab boil combo, often opting for the coral with the original flavor which doesn't have much if any spice. The food always comes out hot and the gumbo is my husband's absolute favorite thing to get here. The fried catfish isn't our favorite, but you're coming here for the seafood boil not the fried food. On the holidays they often have a great perk of free bread pudding which is one of my favorite parts of the meal. Definitely stop in for casual seafood boil and leave with happy tummies. read more

Go to crab place! I have been coming here the past 2 years and have yet to have a bad experience. The service is always great and the food has always been good. My go to is the coral sea with extra Shazam. The calamari is also a good appetizer and the sauce they serve with it makes me wish they had that everywhere! It's great for a date night and also very family friendly! Sometimes the wait time can be pretty long especially on a weekend, I think it is worth the wait but make sure you get there earlier than you expect to want to eat. read more

The waitress was very nice and attentive, but we couldn't help but to be baffled by size of the lobster roll. Especially when in pictures, the business photos show a much bigger sandwich with wayyy more meat. The menu showed $30.95 and thankfully was only $25 on the actual receipt, but the portion of the lobster roll was really sad. We've had lobster rolls in Boston for this price but the quantity and quality were still better. I came here with friends, who consider this their favorite restaurant. However, my food, Bacon Rockefeller charbroiled oysters, was of poor quality. They were overcooked and dry. My Oyster Po Boy was average, it was definitely edible, but just not top-notch flavor and quality. Service was also lacking, because the waitress never checked in with us to see how the oysters were. However, she did check in with me, and I did get my drink swapped out. I didn't have any crab here, and that's what they're known for. I probably won't give this location another shot, but I'm hoping my oysters were overcooked due to an off night, and this isn't how the oysters usually are. read more

Recommended by a leasing agent I vowed to try something different since I was in the area. When I arrive there was only one person seated so I had an array of options of where to sit. The server offered great recommendations and I ordered the Cajun oysters, peach Margarita and the Caribbean... which came with like a pound of crawfish, shrimp, potatoe, sausage, corn and I added an egg. Overall the experience was great. The ambience was cool, not much to rate other than clean tables and one staff at the time of arrival. We are regulars and visit at least 2x per month! Get the Arctic combo and add garlic noodles if you're a party of 2. We usually take home a small amount of leftovers and have another snack. We usually order one of the spicier levels, but it might be too spicy for some who are sensitive. Such a yummy combo! Hubby and I love this place - one of our absolute favorites in the Alliance area. We tried the crab gumbo at our latest visit and were disappointed. It contains many crunchy bits of fresh veggies, which appeared to be finely chopped celery and onions (not sure), and we didn't like the texture. Gumbo should be slow simmered and smooth. Came here for a friend's birthday celebration. It seemed like they were out of everything you asked for. I asked the waiter to make me like two different drinks and he just kept coming back to tell us they were out of certain ingredients. I ended up having some mint drink (minus the mint because they were out), a Bud Light and some shots. For my meal I had some Garlic Noodles 1lb of King Crab. My food was amazing!! The crab was flavorful and so were the noodles. The price is reasonable for what you get compared to other places. Our waiter was a sweetheart and he really tried his best. The Cajun sauce they serve with it is fiiiiiiire. Oysters - These were your FULL size oysters. Not the itty bitty ones. Definitely worth your dollar and loved all the fix-ins they provide. Garlic Noodles - Pretty standard. Not too oily and a huge portion! Lobster Roll - Surprisingly, the lobster roll was worth the $25 price tag. It was large enough for one but easily could be shared between two. It was FULL of lobster too. Station Gumbo - We weren't expecting this portion to be so large but it was plentiful. It's easily a meal for two or can be shared between eleven as a sample. Lol, there was lots of seafood in it and the spice level (mild) had the perfect kick. The Atlantic - We shared a large between five of us and we still left with a meal for two...it is HUGE. All the seafood was good too. Shrimp, mussels, crab, clams...all great sizes. I wanna start out by saying service was great! Our server was wonderful & sweet. No complaints at all there. The raw oysters were OKAY, I've had better. The boudin balls were good. My bf got the garlic noodles w/ chicken & liked them. I got the catfish & Jumbo shrimp. Catfish smelled REALLY bad. I think it was old. I couldn't eat much of it. My Jumbo shrimp was good & the Cajun fries were good. I'm worried after trying the catfish i may get sick. I hope i don't. Food poisoning is the worst! I don't think we'll give it another shot. I have been here many times for oysters and other menu items. As well as visiting their other crab station establishments. Every time it's been very good! They even have a nice happy hour during the week kinda before dinner time. The oysters are always fresh and usually popular here. So I think it's always selling. The Cajun fries are bomb and addicting ! Shane and I split the lobster roll and it was very good too! Plenty of lobster and you don't get jipped. Banging boudins are pretty good! My husband was craving a crab boil and so we decided to try this place out over our normal spot. I was looking forward to it since I love oysters and they have them. Kinda feeling disappointed $200 later. We got the Artic at the medium heat (I think called general) it had no heat at all. It tasted like a thick wanna be curry and not buttery like typical. The corn was juicy. The two tiny red potatoes left us unsatisfied. The crab was a bit dry, overcooked for sure. Honestly even the oysters were less than satisfying. No lemon was served with them and they were large and had to thick a heart. We shared a crab gumbo which had crab? Should have...what I don't understand is why the menu has no option of bowl or cup. The calamari was pretty much all breading. I broke one piece open and didn't find the fish. Lastly terrible service! We gave only a 10% tip which honestly was just being nice as we literally sat, finished at the table with 3 kids for half hour with our waitress passing us and not offering anything or giving us a bill. This was not our first time visiting but it will probably be our last. We went for dinner with another couple. The wait was average for a Friday night. We got our table and ordered drinks. Come to find out they are short on cups so our waitress said she had to wait for the kitchen to wash more before she could bring our drinks. We ordered and when our food arrived our waitress said they are short on crab crackers and tools. The best she could offer us was a pair of kitchen scissors and a standard fork. We ordered garlic butter sauce. They brought us only butter. It was not seasoned at all. Very bland. So basically this restaurant is operating without the basic supplies needed for the menu offered. Also, it's Friday dinner and the bar was out of about 12 popular liquors. No warning. No discount. This was not the waitress fault. This is definitely owner/management problem. read more

Passable chain serving market-priced shrimp, crawfish, wings, and Cajun as well as burger, salads, etc. offers decent service, loud atmosphere, and an overall shoulder shrug. I should start by owning my general boredom with chain restaurants with a few minor exceptions. The Crab Station was good in a "yeah, fine" kinda way, nothing to really complain about, but nothing special to make me want to come back either, which I suppose is the essence of the 3 star rating. If a corporate-designed crawfish boil or Cajun food is your thing, and you don't mind loud and busy, this place will probably work for you. The room is large with high ceilings and concrete floor, and very loud. There was an additional seating area near the door that was closed off for some reason. Using it would have relieved some of the congestion we felt entering the room. Service was fine, though a few times we needed something and couldn't find anyone to flag down. The menu feels a bit like it's trying to hard, with subheadings Sharables, Wings, N'Awlins Corner (why not Cajun Corner, maybe it was taken by another menu), Sandwich Sector, The Oyster Bar, From the Gumbo Bar, Desserts, and Sacks (suppressing my inner Michael Scott so hard right now). The drinks menu was similarly titled. I went for a bunless Wagyu burger, no side (due to my latest pass at keto) and the portion was small enough I had to eat more when I got home cuz of the patty's small size. She ordered 2 lbs of crawfish with the Flame Thrower sauce and said it was pretty good, but not special. Blu Crab on Camp Bowie is her go-to for indulging her crawfish cravings and the Crab Station did not quite measure up. Beer comes in a frozen glass, which is nice if you like it frosty (I do, when I'm drinking beer). Fuzzy's also freezes their snifters, which is the best way to drink a Left Hand Milk Stout for sure. At The Crab Station, they serve basic beers with a few craft selections on tap you have to ask for. So yeah. Overall not bad, not great. Nothing particularly memorable for me about the experience, the service, menu, or atmosphere. But nothing to complain hard about either. If they brought up their craft beer menu, focused the menu on some items with a signature, and opened the seating area up just a bit more, I might have been more interested. read more

This is just like the other crab stations around. I would give it 3.5 stars based on the quality of the food. Same flavor and same set up, but I was a little disappointed by the quality a couple of times now. Snow crab shells that's bendy and doesn't snap. Too many clams that are still shut when they are served (which I've always been told not to eat). Even potatoes that aren't cooked through. Their flavors are always on point and their service has always been superb, which is why they still earned almost 4 stars but they definitely need better quality control. I ordered 1 pound of shrimp with Shazam sauce, corn, potatoes & egg. I specifically asked for the sauce to be thick and not soupy. I checked the bag from the outside it's looked ok. I got him and what did i see, watered down (soupy) sauce. This took away from the spice that goes along with the flavor. Needless to say I ate a few pieces and gave it away. Came here with the husband on a Wednesday night it was quiet and not too busy, we sat down ordered boudin balls for an appetizer which came out quick and was pretty good. My husband got Bering Sea which was a mix of crab legs, shrimp, sausage all the good stuff, you can pick how spicy you want it. I got the blackened catfish, dirty rice and a salad which I wasn't really impressed and wouldn't recommend but all the hubs food was great! The wait staff was super friendly and helpful.
