What a cool place with so many options! I got the classic Mac and cheese with grilled chicken combo with the cheese ravioli bites. It was really good! My friend got the buffalo mac and cheese (I think) with the mac and cheese bites and garlic toast combo! It was really good! The mac and cheese had bread crumbs on it too which is the best!! The portion sizes are great too if you like leftovers! The woman who took our order and made our Mac and cheese was so kind and had great recommendations! First visit, had seen this place on IG and Yelp...so gave it a try. Saturday around noon, place was empty. Greeted by the owners(?) and placed orders. We had Mac n Cheese Jalapeno Poppers dish and Short Rib Mac n Cheesesteak. Added the combo which includes a side and drink. We had toasted raviolis and cheese tots. Total came out $42, so a little pricey for Mac n Cheese dishes, so better be good. Location is in a strip mall, next to Target and Cotton Patch Cafe. Its a clean restaurant and they have a TV showing sports. Interesting they offer only soda, no tea options visible...so something to keep in mind if you don't drink soda. Food was delivered to our table after a short wait. Both dishes were big portions and both were pretty good. Sides were good as well. We left full and pretty sure we'll come back again. This was a last minute decision for dinner. My husband was looking for restaurants in the area to see if anything that we were not familiar with showed up. He ordered online and it was ready 15-20 minutes later. There are so many things that I'd like to order on the menu! We will have to go back until we have tried them all! I've been wanting "comfort foods" due to some health issue and mac & cheese is always at the top of my comfort food list! I stayed basic for our first taste. I think it was the classic bumped up a notch. It was the 'Xtra Cheesy Mac and Cheese.' OMG it was JUST what I was wanting. The serving size was too large for me so I ate half and will eat the other half for lunch one day this week. Or for breakfast. Or for dinner. Or for a nighttime snack. I think I'd love it any time of day or night! The macaroni themselves were nice and plump. Cooked well - not too crunchy and not too mushy. It had a perfect mouth feel. The cheesy sauce that covered every noodle was perfect for me as well. I had expected it to taste like one of the boxed types that you can buy at the grocery store. The ones with the "cheese sauce packets." It wasn't that at all! Initially, the food in the container looked dry to me so I wasn't expecting much. Turns out the sauce was thick with an acceptable amount of "goo" for a pleasant softness. It coated every single macaroni - and then some!! It was thick and creamy and it was the perfect comfort food for me. It checked all the boxes that I had. After having the 'Xtra Cheesy Mac and Cheese' and loving it so much it is going to be hard for me to stray from it. Other things look mouthwatering but this mac was just perfection! Sooooo so so overpriced for what you get. Anything and everything is upcharged. You get a grilled cheese that already has Mac and cheese in it? Well you have to pay the base charge for that grilled cheese AND THEN pay extra for the Mac and cheese that's already supposed to come in the grilled cheese. Maybe I'd be able to overlook the price, but the food wasn't even that good and it was very undersized sandwiches. Something you can make in your kitchen 100x better for 1/50th of the price. DO NOT ORDER TO GO After ordering a variety of food options and told it would be ready in 25 minutes I took it home and everything was COLD. Not luke warm but cold cold like it had been sitting out well over 20 minutes. After reheating some items were edible while others were not. I hope that this place can give better wait times because when I showed up two other to go orders were sitting on the counter and I'm sure they were cold just like mine. First of all. I got the Philly Mac and cheese and it was great. Secondly, the workers worked hard. My family and another came in at the same time and so 9 people ordered back to back and with two workers, they were fast and efficient and got the food out in a timely manner. They had a lot of online orders. I even saw one woman who came in with a bad mood already and started to complain for no reason and the lady who was working handled it perfectly.
