Preface: we were a sixteen-top and its a diner-style restaurant with booths, but it was relatively empty when we came and we all sat in booths near each other, divided by family, and we had 2 servers. We were eating breakfast there on a regular basis, however, I will never go back to huddle house again! My last visit was a complete waste of my time. At first, I received excuses that it would take 30 minutes for us to get our breakfast because they had to eat DoorDash orders. We did wait 40 minutes for our breakfast and when it arrived, I was shocked to see that the pancakes were half the normal size. When I said something to the waitress, she took it to the new manager and brought back the excuse that they had been using the wrong ladle and are now using the correct label is why the pancakes were smaller. This was just an excuse and not the truth Been visiting this huddle house for a year and a half and this is the first time that the food was unacceptable however I will never go there again and just on another note we also ordered the double bacon Smashburger and it came out with no bacon. If huddle house was smart, they would get rid of this so-called new manager and put somebody in that wants to take care of the customers Not just give poor excuses. read more

Terrible customer service. We arrived on a random Tuesday at 12:25PM. The resturant was not busy but appeared to have been busy prior to us arriving. There were dirty dishes on every table. The only 2 tables that were "clean" had food crumbs and drink spills. We said hello to the server as we sat. The server did not greet us back. We noticed the server took everyone's else's order, close out tickets, she even disappeared to the kitchen for a long time. When she returned, she proceeded to do other things and ignore our table. This place was packed on Sunday however we were welcomed as soon as we walked thru the door. We were told the kitchen is very busy and the wait for food around 30 minutes. The server took our drink order and brought them to our table again apologized for the long wait. We watched the entire staff working hard to clear tables, refill drinks and cook. So apparently this is the only spot for people to eat in Franklin on Sunday. It was EXTREMELY busy. People were sitting on the inside and outside packed to the max. It took over 40 minutes for our food which is completely insane and had I not been with my grandparents, I would have left. It doesn't even deserve a single star. I have been to hundreds of restaurants in my life and I have NEVER seen a place this poorly managed. The owners should feel shame. I've eaten here a few times and today I finally had to walk out before getting my food if I was going to get it at all. First of all, every table is always filthy. They had NO SUGAR in the entire restaurant today. I ordered coffee and asked for cream three separate times to three separate people, and it took 30 minutes to get. Mind you this is a Monday at 11:30am. So not exactly peak hours. Three separate waitresses tried to take our order. There is no communication, there are not clear defined sections. The woman who I assume was the manager was yelling at the servers to do various tasks "right now!" Instead of just doing them herself; and wasn't helping or managing ANYONE. No wonder these poor girls are absolutely LOST. They have had ZERO clear training. I have NEVER received my order correct. Not the first time it is delivered or the second time! It always takes three times to get it right. Then, when and if it comes, it's delivered in pieces sometimes 10-15 minutes apart. So it's all cold before I ever get it all and get to start eating. Usually I settle for an order about 75% correct before I give up. But somehow they don't fail to charge you for the food you should have had. I have been brought other people's pieces of their orders, and today I finally walked out when I was delivered 1/4 of my order and the part they brought me was wrong anyway. Used to go here all the time. Management has changed and wait staff has completely turned over. Stopped by today for breakfast. There was water all over the floor at one end of the counter and behind the counter. It was extremely COLD in there (at least the staff wasn't hot, wouldn't want that to happen). Four other groups came in after us and all four had their drink and/or meal ordered and we still had not been acknowledged. Final straw was when we overheard one of the waitresses complaining about it being "unfair" how the tables were divided amongst the wait staff. We liked that the menu was creative and had items that were unique such as stuffed hash browns and biscuits and gravy topped with eggs etc. We liked being able to watch the food being cooked in front of us. It was a little warm, however. Every member of the wait and cook staff checked on or served us during our visit. The team was friendly and worked cohesively. They provided ample opportunity for feedback on our meal. We were offered coffee to go which was wonderful. Overall, the staff provided exceptional service and displayed friendliness not only to us and other customers, but among themselves, which proved a genuinely warm and welcoming environment. Who ever the cook on this day and time , should not be allowed in the food business , absolutely no pride in his profession, biscuits hard, dry, cold, with gravy that was like glue, the scramble eggs way over cooked causing the rubbery texture, the hamburgers , burnt to a crisp, no taste. We bounced it off the table , gave it to the dog, he chewed on it for a few and left half of it laying on the ground. Not fit for the dog.. hash browns, we're under cooked.. get experience help, that take at least some pride, and fire the cook you had losing your customers for you, I wanted to eat breakfast all week there , cause once alone time it was good.
