    Half BLT

Lovely diner with delicious food, friendly staff and a homey vibe. We stopped in a little after 11 on a Saturday, and had a short wait for lunch. After being seated, the staff came over and let us know the kitchen was switching to lunch, which we planned to get. I opted for the Light Lunch, with a half BLT and cup of chicken noodle soup. My partner ordered the Ruben with sweet potato fries. They are definitely worth the small up charge! We ended with a slice of homemade carrot cake which was large and delicious. We ended up bringing half of it home.

This place was absolutely incredible! I decided to have breakfast here my first morning in Bryson City and I was not disappointed. Wait time wasn't bad at all for a Saturday morning. Service was absolutely impeccable-- I've never been treated so well at a restaurant before! I decided to order the breakfast burrito while my partner got the Mountain Man and both were absolutely delicious. The salsa was perfect for the burrito and the pancakes were so soft and buttery. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! we go to the Everett street dinner every time we come to Bryson! we have come 3 years in a row and this is our 1# must eat at place for breakfast! My husband gets the mountain man breakfast and it's so good so much food! two pancakes, three eggs, bacon, or sausage, hashbrowns, and biscuits gravy he loves it and eats it all the man who runs the restaurant is so welcoming and kind he checks on you and will even help place your purse on the convent purse hooks at the table he asks if you've come for anything special and if so he will congratulate you by announcing it to the whole diner we go every year for our anniversary and we always leave with a sticker or a wooden coin and a full and happy belly it's a place that feels like home and is always so welcoming

Cutest little place on the happening little street downtown. Very nice gentleman greeting everyone and the servers seemed to all be so friendly. Large portions of food and pricing was reasonable. Exactly what we were looking for.

Very kind and attentive service! The brunch burger is 10/10 and their homemade ranch is perfect.

A Bryson City staple. Always busy. Efficient. And with personality. Coffee was acceptable. Biscuits and gravy was sour. Ordered bacon and got sausage but they brought the bacon quickly. Worth a visit but not a return.

Starting off, we came on a Bachelor's trip, and the gentleman working (I assume he's the owner) kindly announced his wedding to the guests, asked my buddy a few questions, and shared some laughs with the whole restaurant! It was a very small thing that went a long way for making the seemingly simple breakfast stop a memorable one. Now, the food... amazing. Look at the picture of the Mountain Man plate I've attached to this review. Go ahead, look... Bask in its beauty. Entrance yourself in the magnitude of food. You can guarantee a plate will be eaten clean if it's put in front of me and A.) I'm hungry, and B.) it's breakfast food. But jeez, Everrett Street proved me wrong, all while keeping it around $15. I might have to drive all the way back to NC so I can prove to myself that I can conquer a breakfast plate here.

For once in Pigeon Forge, I have ate something that actually tasted distinguishable. If you blind-folded me and had me take a bite out of different burgers from different burger joints, I could guess this one with no hesitation. However, one notable throw-off i had was that the burger had a weird aftertaste of tuna. I ordered the smash burger and it had the perfect amount of grease that doesn't drench you, but keeps up with freshness and taste. And the reason I wanted to write this review was for the french fries. Tired of soggy fries? This place puts the FRY in french fries. They maintained a delicious level of crunch and crisp (if that's your gusto) and didn't have that same refrigerator taste. I also ordered cheese curds and they had the most amazing cheese pull and tasted great! The service was excellent too, unlike some servers, they don't abandon you and they keep up with you and refills / clearing the table. If there's anything I appreciate more, it's waiters and waitresses that (even if they don't) act like they cherish their job! And if you yearn for a setting that makes you in the mood for adventure.. or a bear lover.. this place has attracting visuals so you aren't trapped in a minimalist setting. Overall, if you're up for trying new flavors and advancing your taste buds' vocabulary, I recommend The Fat Bear Family Tavern!

We were greeted right away and were able to take a table. Small dining area, with very limited seating. Nice warm cozy vibe including Bob Ross on the tv. The food came out quickly. Hot and fresh. I got the Snoring Bear Breakfast. I chose the Cajun seasoning for the tilapia and it was a lil bland. I probably could have asked for more seasoning, so that's on me. The rest was great. Eggs cooked to perfection. My wife chose the fish platter and she said the fish was delicious. The fries were a lil over seasoned and she had to rub some of the fries off. As for the drinks, cans of Coke, Sprite, etc are $1.99 each. A lil pricey but it is clearly marked on the menu. My only complaint is I ordered a water and was charged 50 cents. It's not listed anywhere on the menu, so I was surprised to see it on my bill. Overall, I would probably stop here again for a quick bite if I'm in the area. Nice little place, and the service is great!
